| «این است خدمتگزار من که او را تقویت می‌کنم. او برگزیدهٔ من است و مایۀ خشنودی من. روح خود را بر او خواهم نهاد. او عدل و انصاف را برای قومها به ارمغان خواهد آورد. | 1 |
“Behold, my servant, whom I uphold; my chosen, in whom my soul delights— I have put my Ruach ·Spirit, Breath· on him. He will bring mishpat ·justice· to the nations.
| او فریاد نخواهد زد و صدایش را در کوی و برزن بلند نخواهد کرد. | 2 |
He will not shout, nor raise his voice, nor cause it to be sh'ma ·heard· in the street.
| نی خرد شده را نخواهد شکست، و شعلۀ شمعی را که سوسو می‌زند، خاموش نخواهد کرد. او عدل و انصاف واقعی را به اجرا در خواهد آورد. | 3 |
He won’t break a bruised reed. He won’t quench a dimly burning wick. He will faithfully bring mishpat ·justice·.
| دلسرد و نومید نخواهد شد و عدالت را بر زمین استوار خواهد ساخت. مردم سرزمینهای دور دست منتظرند تعالیم او را بشنوند.» | 4 |
He will not fail nor be discouraged, until he has set mishpat ·justice· in the earth, and the islands will wait for his torot ·teachings·.”
| یهوه، خدایی که آسمانها را آفرید و گسترانید و زمین و هر چه را که در آن است به وجود آورد و نفس و حیات به تمام مردم جهان می‌بخشد، به خدمتگزار خود چنین می‌گوید: | 5 |
Thus says Elohim Yahweh [God He sustains breathing], he who created the heavens and stretched them out, he who spread out the earth and that which comes out of it, he who gives breath to its people and spirit to those who walk in it.
| «من که خداوند هستم تو را خوانده‌ام و به تو قدرت داده‌ام تا عدالت را برقرار سازی. توسط تو با تمام قومهای جهان عهد می‌بندم و به‌وسیلۀ تو به مردم دنیا نور می‌بخشم. | 6 |
“I, Adonai, have called you in righteousness, and will hold your hand, and will keep you, and make you a covenant ·binding contract between two or more parties· for the people, as a light for the nations;
| تو چشمان کوران را باز خواهی کرد و آنانی را که در زندانهای تاریک اسیرند آزاد خواهی ساخت. | 7 |
to open the blind eyes, to bring the prisoners out of the dungeon, and those who sit in darkness out of the prison.
| «من یهوه هستم و نام من همین است. جلال خود را به کسی نمی‌دهم و بتها را شریک ستایش خود نمی‌سازم. | 8 |
“I am Yahweh [He sustains breathing]. That is my name. I will not give my kavod ·weighty glory· to another, nor my tehilah ·praise song· to engraved images.
| آنچه تا به حال پیشگویی کرده‌ام، انجام گرفته است. اینک پیشگویی‌های جدیدی می‌کنم و شما را از آینده خبر می‌دهم.» | 9 |
Behold, the former things have happened, and I declare new things. I sh'ma ·hear obey, declare· to you about them before they come up.”
| ای جزیره‌های دور دست و ای کسانی که در آنها زندگی می‌کنید، در وصف خداوند سرودی تازه بخوانید. ای دریاها و ای همهٔ کسانی که در آنها سفر می‌کنید، او را پرستش نمایید. | 10 |
Sing to Adonai a new song, and his tehilah ·praise song· from the end of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that is therein, the islands and their inhabitants.
| صحرا و شهرهایش خدا را ستایش کنند. اهالی «قیدار» او را بپرستند. ساکنان «سالع» از قلهٔ کوهها فریاد شادی سر دهند! | 11 |
Let the wilderness and its cities raise their voices, with the villages that Kedar inhabits. Let the inhabitants of Sela sing. Let them shout from the top of the mountains!
| کسانی که در سرزمینهای دور دست زندگی می‌کنند جلال خداوند را بیان کنند و او را ستایش نمایند. | 12 |
Let them give kavod ·weighty glory· to Adonai, and declare his tehilah ·praise song· in the islands.
| خداوند همچون جنگاوری توانا به میدان جنگ خواهد آمد و فریاد برآورده، دشمنان خود را شکست خواهد داد. | 13 |
Adonai will go out like a mighty man. He will stir up zeal like a man of war. He will raise a war cry. Yes, he will shout aloud. He will triumph over his enemies.
| او خواهد گفت: «مدت مدیدی است که سکوت کرده و جلوی خشم خود را گرفته‌ام. اما دیگر ساکت نخواهم ماند، بلکه مانند زنی که درد زایمان او را گرفته باشد، فریاد خواهم زد. | 14 |
“I have been silent a long time. I have been quiet and restrained myself. Now I will cry out like a travailing woman. I will both gasp and pant.
| کوهها و تپه‌ها را با خاک یکسان خواهم کرد و تمام گیاهان را از بین خواهم برد و همهٔ رودخانه‌ها و نهرها را خشک خواهم کرد. | 15 |
I will destroy mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs. I will make the rivers islands, and will dry up the pools.
| قوم کورباطن خود را به راهی که پیشتر آن را ندیده بودند هدایت خواهم کرد. تاریکی را پیش روی ایشان روشن خواهم ساخت و راه آنها را صاف و هموار خواهم کرد. | 16 |
I will bring the blind by a way that they don’t know. I will lead them in paths that they don’t know. I will make darkness light before them, and crooked places straight. I will do these things, and I will not forsake them.
| آنگاه کسانی که به بتها اعتماد می‌کنند و آنها را خدا می‌نامند مأیوس و رسوا خواهند شد. | 17 |
“Those who trust in engraved images, who tell molten images, ‘You are our deities’ will be turned back. They will be utterly disappointed.
| «ای کران بشنوید، و ای کوران ببینید. من شما را برگزیده‌ام تا رسولان مطیع من باشید، اما شما به آنچه دیده و شنیده‌اید توجه نمی‌کنید. شما قومی کور و کر هستید.» | 18 |
“Sh'ma ·Hear obey·, you deaf, and look, you blind, that you may see.
| 19 |
Who is blind, but my servant? Or who is as deaf as my messenger whom I send? Who is as blind as he who is at peace, and as blind as Adonai’s servant?
| 20 |
You see many things, but don’t observe. His ears are open, but he does not sh'ma ·hear obey·.
| خداوند قوانین عالی خود را به قوم خویش عطا فرمود تا ایشان آن را محترم بدارند و توسط آن عدالت او را به مردم جهان نشان دهند. | 21 |
It pleased Adonai, for his righteousness’ sake, to magnify the Torah ·Teaching·, and make it honorable.
| اما قوم او از عهدهٔ انجام این کار برنمی‌آیند. زیرا آنها تاراج شده‌اند و در سیاهچال زندانی هستند. ایشان غارت شده‌اند و کسی نیست به دادشان برسد. | 22 |
But this is a robbed and plundered people. All of them are snared in holes, and they are hidden in prisons. They have become captives, and no one delivers; and a plunder, and no one says, ‘Restore them!’
| آیا در میان شما کسی هست که به این سخنان توجه کند و درس عبرت گیرد؟ | 23 |
Who is there among you who will give ear to this? Who will listen and sh'ma ·hear obey· for the time to come?
| چه کسی اجازه داد اسرائیل غارت و تاراج شود؟ آیا این همان خداوندی نیست که به او گناه کردند؟ بله، آنها راههای او را دنبال نکردند و از قوانین او اطاعت ننمودند، | 24 |
Who gave Jacob [Supplanter] as plunder, and Israel [God prevails] to the robbers? Didn’t Adonai, he against whom we have sinned ·deviated (from the standard goal)·? For they would not walk in his ways, and they did not sh'ma ·hear obey· his Torah ·Teaching·.
| برای همین بود که خداوند اینچنین بر قوم خود خشمگین شد و بلای جنگ را دامنگیر ایشان ساخت. آتش خشم او سراسر قوم را فرا گرفت، اما ایشان باز درس عبرت نگرفتند. | 25 |
Therefore he poured the fierceness of his anger on him, and the strength of battle; and it set him on fire all around, but he didn’t know; and it burned him, but he didn’t take it to heart.”
