| برای یدوتون سالار مغنیان. مزمور داود جان من فقط برای خدا خاموش می شود زیرا که نجات من از جانب اوست. | ۱ 1 |
For the Chief Musician; after the manner of Jeduthun. A Psalm of David. My soul waiteth only upon God: from him [cometh] my salvation.
| او تنها صخره و نجات من است و قلعه بلند من. پس بسیار جنبش نخواهم خورد. | ۲ 2 |
He only is my rock and my salvation: [he is] my high tower; I shall not be greatly moved.
| تا به کی بر مردی هجوم می‌آورید تا همگی شما او راهلاک کنید مثل دیوار خمشده و حصار جنبش خورده؟ | ۳ 3 |
How long will ye set upon a man, that ye may slay [him], all of you, like a bowing wall, like a tottering fence?
| در این فقط مشورت می‌کنند که او را ازمرتبه‌اش بیندازند. و دروغ را دوست می‌دارند. به زبان خود برکت می‌دهند و در دل خود لعنت می‌کنند، سلاه. | ۴ 4 |
They only consult to thrust him down from his excellency; they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. (Selah)
| ای جان من فقط برای خدا خاموش شو زیراکه امید من از وی است. | ۵ 5 |
My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
| او تنها صخره و نجات من است و قلعه بلند من تا جنبش نخورم. | ۶ 6 |
He only is my rock and my salvation: [he is] my high tower; I shall not be moved.
| برخداست نجات و جلال من. صخره قوت من وپناه من در خداست. | ۷ 7 |
With God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
| ای قوم همه وقت بر اوتوکل کنید و دلهای خود را به حضور وی بریزید. زیرا خدا ملجای ماست، سلاه. | ۸ 8 |
Trust in him at all times, ye people; pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. (Selah)
| البته بنی آدم بطالت‌اند و بنی بشر دروغ. در ترازو بالا می‌روندزیرا جمیع از بطالت سبکترند. | ۹ 9 |
Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: in the balances they will go up; they are together lighter than vanity.
| بر ظلم توکل مکنید و بر غارت مغرور مشوید. چون دولت افزوده شود دل در آن مبندید. | ۱۰ 10 |
Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart [thereon].
| خدا یک بارگفته است و دو بار این را شنیده‌ام که قوت از آن خداست. | ۱۱ 11 |
God hath spoken once, twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God:
| ای خداوند رحمت نیز از آن تواست، زیرا به هر کس موافق عملش جزا خواهی داد. | ۱۲ 12 |
Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.
