مزامیر 43

۱ 1 ای خدا مرا داوری کن و دعوای مرا باقوم بیرحم فیصل فرما و از مرد حیله گرو ظالم مرا خلاصی ده.

Judge me, O God! and defend my cause against a merciless nation! Deliver me from unjust and deceitful men!

۲ 2 زیرا تو خدای قوت من هستی. چرا مرا دور انداختی؟ چرا به‌سبب ستم دشمن ماتم‌کنان تردد بکنم؟

Thou art the God of my refuge: why dost thou cast me off? Why go I mourning on account of the oppression of the enemy?

۳ 3 نور و راستی خود را بفرست تا مرا هدایت نمایند. و مرا به کوه مقدس تو و مسکن های تو رسانند.

O send forth thy light and thy truth; let them guide me; Let them lead me to thy holy mountain, and to thy dwelling-place!

۴ 4 آنگاه به مذبح خدا خواهم رفت، بسوی خدایی که سرور و خرمی من است. و تورا‌ای خدا، خدای من با بربط تسبیح خواهم خواند.

Then will I go to the altar of God, To the God of my joy and exultation; Yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God, my God!

۵ 5 ‌ای جان من چرا منحنی شده‌ای؟ و چرا درمن پریشان گشته‌ای؟ امید بر خدا دار. زیرا که او راباز حمد خواهم گفت، که نجات روی من وخدای من است.

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God; for I shall yet praise him, Him, my deliverer and my God!
