| مزمور داود وقتی که منش خود را به حضورابیملک تغییر داد و از حضور او بیرون رانده شده، برفت خداوند را در هر وقت متبارک خواهم گفت. تسبیح او دائم بر زبان من خواهدبود. | ۱ 1 |
I WILL bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
| جان من در خداوند فخر خواهد کرد. مسکینان شنیده، شادی خواهند نمود. | ۲ 2 |
My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
| خداوندرا با من تکبیر نمایید. نام او را با یکدیگربرافرازیم. | ۳ 3 |
O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.
| چون خداوند را طلبیدم مرامستجاب فرمود و مرا از جمیع ترسهایم خلاصی بخشید. | ۴ 4 |
I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
| بسوی او نظر کردند و منور گردیدند ورویهای ایشان خجل نشد. | ۵ 5 |
They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.
| این مسکین فریادکرد و خداوند او را شنید و او را از تمامی تنگیهایش رهایی بخشید. | ۶ 6 |
This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
| فرشته خداوندگرداگرد ترسندگان او است. اردو زده، ایشان رامی رهاند. | ۷ 7 |
The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
| بچشید و ببینید که خداوند نیکواست. خوشابحال شخصی که بدو توکل می‌دارد. | ۸ 8 |
O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
| ای مقدسان خداوند از او بترسید زیرا که ترسندگان او را هیچ کمی نیست. | ۹ 9 |
O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.
| شیربچگان بی‌نوا شده، گرسنگی می‌کشند و اما طالبان خداوند را به هیچ‌چیز نیکو کمی نخواهد شد. | ۱۰ 10 |
The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.
| ای اطفال بیایید مرا بشنوید و ترس خداوند رابه شما خواهم آموخت. | ۱۱ 11 |
Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
| کیست آن شخصی که آرزومند حیات‌است و طول ایام را دوست می‌دارد تا نیکویی را ببیند. | ۱۲ 12 |
What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?
| زبانت را از بدی نگاه دار و لبهایت را از سخنان حیله آمیز. | ۱۳ 13 |
Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
| ازبدی اجتناب نما و نیکویی بکن. صلح را طلب نماو در‌پی آن بکوش. | ۱۴ 14 |
Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
| چشمان خداوند بسوی صالحان است و گوشهای وی بسوی فریاد ایشان. | ۱۵ 15 |
The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
| روی خداوند بسوی بدکاران است تا ذکرایشان را از زمین منقطع سازد. | ۱۶ 16 |
The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
| چون (صالحان )فریاد برآوردند خداوند ایشان را شنید و ایشان رااز همه تنگیهای ایشان رهایی بخشید. | ۱۷ 17 |
The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
| خداوند نزدیک شکسته دلان است و روح کوفتگان را نجات خواهد داد. | ۱۸ 18 |
The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
| زحمات مردصالح بسیار است. اما خداوند او را از همه آنهاخواهد رهانید. | ۱۹ 19 |
Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.
| همه استخوانهای ایشان رانگاه می‌دارد، که یکی از آنها شکسته نخواهد شد. | ۲۰ 20 |
He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
| شریر را شرارت هلاک خواهد کرد و ازدشمنان مرد صالح موآخذه خواهد شد. | ۲۱ 21 |
Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
| خداوند جان بندگان خود را فدیه خواهد داد واز آنانی که بر وی توکل دارند موآخذه نخواهدشد. | ۲۲ 22 |
The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
