مزامیر 104

۱ 1 ای جان من، خداوند را متبارک بخوان! ای یهوه خدای من توبی نهایت عظیم هستی! به عزت و جلال ملبس هستی.

Bless the LORD O my soul, O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.

۲ 2 خویشتن را به نور مثل ردا پوشانیده‌ای.

Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment; who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:

۳ 3 آن که غرفات خود را بر آبها بنا کرده است و ابرها رامرکب خود نموده و بر بالهای باد می‌خرامد.

Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters; who maketh the clouds his chariot; who walketh upon the wings of the wind:

۴ 4 فرشتگان خود را بادها می‌گرداند و خادمان خود را آتش مشتعل.

Who maketh winds his messengers; his ministers a flaming fire:

۵ 5 که زمین را بر اساسش استوار کرده، تا جنبش نخورد تا ابدالاباد.

Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be moved for ever.

۶ 6 آن رابه لجه‌ها مثل ردا پوشانیده‌ای، که آبها بر کوههاایستاده‌اند.

Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a vesture; the waters stood above the mountains.

۷ 7 از عتاب تو می‌گریزند. از آواز رعدتو پراکنده می‌شوند.

At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away;

۸ 8 به فراز کوهها برمی آیند، وبه همواریها فرود می‌آیند، به مکانی که برای آنهامهیا ساخته‌ای.

They went up by the mountains, they went down by the valleys, unto the place which thou hadst founded for them.

۹ 9 حدی برای آنها قرار داده‌ای که از آن نگذرند و برنگردند تا زمین را بپوشانند.

Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.

۱۰ 10 که چشمه‌ها را در وادیها جاری می‌سازد تا درمیان کوهها روان بشوند.

He sendeth forth springs into the valleys; they run among the mountains:

۱۱ 11 تمام حیوانات صحرارا سیراب می‌سازند تا گورخران تشنگی خود رافرو نشانند.

They give drink to every beast of the field; the wild asses quench their thirst.

۱۲ 12 بر آنها مرغان هوا ساکن می‌شوند واز میان شاخه‌ها آواز خود را می‌دهند.

By them the fowl of the heaven have their habitation, they sing among the branches.

۱۳ 13 او ازغرفات خود کوهها را سیراب می‌کند و از ثمرات اعمال تو زمین سیر می‌شود.

He watereth the mountains from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.

۱۴ 14 نباتات را برای بهایم می‌رویاند و سبزه‌ها رابرای خدمت انسان، و نان را از زمین بیرون می‌آورد.

He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man; that he may bring forth food out of the earth:

۱۵ 15 و شراب را که دل انسان را شادمان می‌کند، و چهره او را به روغن شاداب می‌سازد ودل انسان را به نان قوی می‌گرداند.

And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, [and] oil to make his face to shine, and bread that strengtheneth man’s heart.

۱۶ 16 درختان خداوند شادابند، یعنی سروهای آزاد لبنان که غرس کرده است،

The trees of the LORD are satisfied; the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted;

۱۷ 17 که در آنها مرغان آشیانهای خود را می‌گیرند و اما صنوبر خانه لق لق می‌باشد.

Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are her house.

۱۸ 18 کوههای بلند برای بزهای کوهی و صخره هابرای یربوع ملجاء است.

The high mountains are for the wild goats; the rocks are a refuge for the conies.

۱۹ 19 ماه را برای موسمهاساخت و آفتاب مغرب خود را می‌داند.

He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.

۲۰ 20 تاریکی می‌سازی و شب می‌شود که در آن همه حیوانات جنگلی راه می‌روند.

Thou makest darkness, and it is night; Wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.

۲۱ 21 شیربچگان برای شکار خود غرش می‌کنند و خوراک خویش را از خدا می‌جویند.

The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from God.

۲۲ 22 چون آفتاب طلوع می‌کند جمع می‌شوند و در بیشه های خودمی خوابند.

The sun ariseth, they get them away, and lay them down in their dens.

۲۳ 23 انسان برای عمل خود بیرون می‌آید و به جهت شغل خویش تا شامگاه.

Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening.

۲۴ 24 ‌ای خداوند اعمال تو چه بسیار است. جمیع آنها را به حکمت کرده‌ای. زمین از دولت تو پر است.

O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.

۲۵ 25 و آن دریای بزرگ و وسیع الاطراف نیز که در آن حشرات از حد شماره زیاده‌اند و حیوانات خرد و بزرگ.

Yonder is the sea, great and wide, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.

۲۶ 26 و در آن کشتیها راه می‌روند و آن لویاتان که به جهت بازی کردن در آن آفریده‌ای.

There go the ships; there is leviathan, whom thou hast formed to take his pastime therein.

۲۷ 27 جمیع اینها از تو انتظارمی کشند تا خوراک آنها را در وقتش برسانی.

These wait all upon thee, that thou mayest give them their meat in due season.

۲۸ 28 آنچه را که به آنها می‌دهی، فرا می‌گیرند. دست خود را باز می‌کنی، پس از چیزهای نیکو سیرمی شوند.

That thou givest unto them they gather; thou openest thine hand, they are satisfied with good.

۲۹ 29 روی خود را می‌پوشانی پس مضطرب می‌گردند. روح آنها را قبض می‌کنی، پس می‌میرند و به خاک خود برمی گردند.

Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled; thou takest away their breath they die, and return to their dust.

۳۰ 30 چون روح خود را می‌فرستی، آفریده می‌شوند و روی زمین را تازه می‌گردانی.

Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created; and thou renewest the face of the ground.

۳۱ 31 جلال خداوند تا ابدالاباد است. خداوند ازاعمال خود راضی خواهد بود.

Let the glory of the LORD endure for ever; let the LORD rejoice in his works:

۳۲ 32 که به زمین نگاه می‌کند و آن می‌لرزد. کوهها را لمس می‌کند، پس آتش فشان می‌شوند.

Who looketh on the earth, and it trembleth; he toucheth the mountains, and they smoke.

۳۳ 33 خداوند را خواهم سرایید تا زنده می‌باشم. برای خدای خود تسبیح خواهم خواند تا وجود دارم.

I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have any being.

۳۴ 34 تفکر من او رالذیذ بشود و من در خداوند شادمان خواهم بود.

Let my meditation be sweet unto him: I will rejoice in the LORD.

۳۵ 35 گناهکاران از زمین نابود گردند و شریران دیگر یافت نشوند. ای جان من، خداوند را متبارک بخوان! هللویاه!

Let sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless the LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the LORD.
