اول سموئیل 27
| و داود در دل خود گفت: «الحال روزی به‌دست شاول هلاک خواهم شد. چیزی برای من از این بهتر نیست که به زمین فلسطینیان فرار کنم، و شاول از جستجوی من درتمامی حدود اسرائیل مایوس شود. پس از دست او نجات خواهم یافت.» | ۱ 1 |
And David said in his heart: I shall gone day or other fall into the hands of Saul: is it not better for me to flee, and to be saved in the land of the Philistines, that Saul may despair of me, and cease to seek me in all the coasts of Israel? I will flee then out of his hands.
| پس داود برخاسته، باآن ششصد نفر که همراهش بودند نزد اخیش بن معوک، پادشاه جت گذشت. | ۲ 2 |
And David arose and went away, both he and the six hundred men that were with him, to Achis the son of Maoch, king of Geth.
| و داود نزد اخیش در جت ساکن شد، او و مردمانش هرکس با اهل خانه‌اش، و داود با دو زنش اخینوعم یزرعیلیه وابیجایل کرملیه زن نابال. | ۳ 3 |
And David dwelt with Achis at Geth, he and his men: every man with his household, and David with his two wives, Achinoam the Jezrahelitess, and Abigail the wife of Nabal of Carmel.
| و به شاول گفته شد که داود به جت فرار کرده است، پس او را دیگرجستجو نکرد. | ۴ 4 |
And it was told Saul that David was fled to Geth, and he sought no more after him.
| و داود به اخیش گفت: «الان اگر من در نظر توالتفات یافتم مکانی به من در یکی از شهرهای صحرا بدهند تا در آنجا ساکن شوم، زیرا که بنده تو چرا در شهر دارالسلطنه با تو ساکن شود.» | ۵ 5 |
And David said to Achis: If I have found favour in thy sight, let a place be given me in one of the cities of this country, that I may dwell there: for why should thy servant dwell in the royal city with thee?
| پس اخیش در آن روز صقلغ را به او داد، لهذاصقلغ تا امروز از آن پادشاهان یهوداست. | ۶ 6 |
Then Achis gave him Siceleg that day: for which reason Siceleg belongeth to the kings of Juda unto this day.
| وعدد روزهایی که داود در بلاد فلسطینیان ساکن بود یک سال و چهار ماه بود. | ۷ 7 |
And the time that David dwelt in the country of the Philistines, was four months.
| و داود و مردانش برآمده، بر جشوریان وجرزیان و عمالقه هجوم آوردند زیرا که این طوایف در ایام قدیم در آن زمین از شور تا به زمین مصر ساکن می‌بودند. | ۸ 8 |
And David and his men went up, and pillaged Gessuri, and Gerzi, and the Amalecites: for these were of old the inhabitants of the countries, as men go to Sur, even to the land of Egypt.
| و داود اهل آن زمین راشکست داده، مرد یا زنی زنده نگذاشت وگوسفندان و گاوان و الاغها و شتران و رخوت گرفته، برگشت و نزد اخیش آمد. | ۹ 9 |
And David wasted all the land, and left neither man nor woman alive: and took away the sheep and the oxen, and the asses, and the camels, and the apparel, and returned and came to Achis.
| و اخیش گفت: «امروز به کجا تاخت آوردید.» داود گفت: «بر جنوبی یهودا و جنوب یرحمئیلیان و به جنوب قینیان. | ۱۰ 10 |
And Achis said to him: Whom hast thou gone against today? David answered: Against the south of Juda, and against the south of Jerameel, and against the south of Ceni.
| و داود مرد یا زنی را زنده نگذاشت که به جت بیایند زیرا گفت مبادا درباره ما خبر‌آورده، بگویند که داود چنین کرده است وتمامی روزهایی که در بلاد فلسطینیان بماند، عادتش چنین خواهد بود.» | ۱۱ 11 |
And David saved neither man nor woman, neither brought he any of them to Geth, saying: Lest they should speak against us. So did David, and such was his proceeding all the days that he dwelt in the country of the Philistines.
| و اخیش داود را تصدیق نموده، گفت: «خویشتن را نزد قوم خود اسرائیل بالکل مکروه نموده است، پس تا به ابد بنده من خواهد بود.» | ۱۲ 12 |
And Achis believed David, saying: He hath done much harm to his people Israel: therefore he shall be my servant for ever.
