< ਜ਼ਬੂਰ 112 >

1 ੧ ਹਲਲੂਯਾਹ! ਧੰਨ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਭੈਅ ਮੰਨਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਗਨ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Praise Yah. Blessed is the man that feareth Yhwh, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
2 ੨ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਅੰਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਸਚਿਆਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਮੁਬਾਰਕ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
3 ੩ ਧਨ ਦੌਲਤ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਧਰਮ ਸਦਾ ਤੱਕ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
4 ੪ ਸਚਿਆਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਅਨ੍ਹੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਾਨਣ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਜੋ ਦਯਾਲੂ, ਕਿਰਪਾਲੂ ਤੇ ਧਰਮੀ ਹਨ।
Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
5 ੫ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਭਲਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਦਯਾਵਾਨ ਤੇ ਉਧਾਰ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਨਸਾਫ਼ ਨਾਲ ਚਲਾਏਗਾ।
A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.
6 ੬ ਉਹ ਕਦੀ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਡੋਲੇਗਾ, ਧਰਮੀ ਸਦਾ ਦੀ ਯਾਦਗੀਰੀ ਲਈ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
7 ੭ ਉਹ ਬੁਰੀ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਡਰਦਾ, ਉਹ ਦਾ ਦਿਲ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਦਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੈ।
He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in Yhwh.
8 ੮ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਤਕੜਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਨਾ ਡੋਲੇਗਾ, ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਰੋਧੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ (ਆਪਣੀ ਜਿੱਤ) ਨਾ ਵੇਖੇ।
His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.
9 ੯ ਉਹ ਨੇ ਵੰਡਿਆ, ਉਹ ਨੇ ਕੰਗਾਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, ਉਹ ਦਾ ਧਰਮ ਸਦਾ ਤੱਕ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਦਾ ਸਿੰਗ ਪਰਤਾਪ ਨਾਲ ਉੱਚਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.
10 ੧੦ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਇਹ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਕੁੜ੍ਹੇਗਾ, ਦੰਦ ਪੀਹ ਪੀਹ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਗਲ਼ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਦੀ ਹਿਰਸ ਨਾਸ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।
The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.
