Faarfannaa 86

1 Kadhannaa Daawit. Yaa Waaqayyo, waan ani hiyyeessaa fi rakkataa taʼeef, na dhagaʼiitii deebii naa kenni.

A PRAYER OF DAVID. Incline, O YHWH, Your ear, Answer me, for I [am] poor and needy.

2 Ani sitti of kenneeraatii lubbuu koo eegi. Ati Waaqa koo ti; garbicha kee kan si amanatu oolchi.

Keep my soul, for I [am] pious, Save Your servant who is trusting to You, O You, my God.

3 Yaa Gooftaa na maari; ani guyyaa guutuu sin waammadhaatii.

Favor me, O Lord, for I call to You all the day.

4 Lubbuu garbicha keetii gammachiisi; yaa Gooftaa, ani lubbuu koo gara keetti oli nan fuudhaatii.

Make glad the soul of Your servant, For to You, O Lord, I lift up my soul.

5 Yaa Gooftaa ati gaarii dha; dhiifamas namaa goota; warra si waammatan hundaafis jaalalli kee guddaa dha.

For You, Lord, [are] good and forgiving, And abundant in kindness to all calling You.

6 Yaa Waaqayyo, kadhannaa koo dhagaʼi; iyya waammata koos dhaggeeffadhu.

Hear, O YHWH, my prayer, And attend to the voice of my supplications.

7 Ani guyyaa rakkina kootiitti sin waammadha; ati deebii naa kennitaatii.

In a day of my distress I call You, For You answer me.

8 Yaa Gooftaa, waaqota keessaa kan akka keetii hin jiru; hojiin hojii keetiin wal qixxaatu tokko iyyuu hin jiru.

There is none like You among the gods, O Lord, And like Your works there are none.

9 Yaa Gooftaa, saboonni ati uumte hundinuu dhufanii, fuula kee duratti ni sagadu; maqaa keetiifis ulfina fidu.

All nations that You have made Come and bow themselves before You, O Lord, And give honor to Your Name.

10 Ati guddaa fi kan hojii dinqisiisaa hojjettuu dha; Waaqni suma qofa.

For You [are] great, and doing wonders, You [are] God alone.

11 Yaa Waaqayyo, karaa kee na barsiisi; anis dhugaa keetiin nan bula; akka ani maqaa kee sodaadhuuf, garaa gargar hin qoodamne naa kenni.

Show me, O YHWH, Your way, I walk in Your truth, My heart rejoices to fear Your Name.

12 Yaa Waaqa koo Gooftaa, ani garaa koo guutuudhaan sin galateeffadha; maqaa kee illee bara baraan nan ulfeessa.

I confess You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, And I honor Your Name for all time.

13 Jaalalli ati naa qabdu guddaadhaatii; lubbuu koo dhidhima siiʼool keessaa baafteerta. (Sheol h7585)

For Your kindness [is] great toward me, And You have delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol. (Sheol h7585)

14 Yaa Waaqi, of tuultonni natti kaʼaniiru; tuunni finciltootaa, namoonni si hin sodaanne lubbuu koo galaafachuu barbaadu.

O God, the proud have risen up against me, And a company of the terrible sought my soul, And have not placed You before them,

15 Yaa Gooftaa, ati garuu Waaqa garaa laafessaa fi arjaa dha; daftee hin aartu; jaalallii fi amanamummaan kee dhuma hin qabu.

And You, O Lord, [are] God, merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abundant in kindness and truth.

16 Gara kootti deebiʼiitii na maari; jabina kee tajaajilaa keetii kenni; ilma garbittii keetiis oolchi.

Look to me, and favor me, Give Your strength to Your servant, And give salvation to a son of Your handmaid.

17 Akka diinonni koo arganii qaanaʼaniif, mallattoo gaarummaa keetii naa kenni; yaa Waaqayyo, ati na gargaartee na jajjabeessiteertaatii.

Do with me a sign for good, And those hating me see and are ashamed, For You, O YHWH, have helped me, Indeed, You have comforted me!
