< Isaayyaas 63 >

1 Kan uffata isaa halluu diimaa cuuphee Edoom keessaa, Bozraadhaa dhufaa jiru kun eenyu? Kan ulfina uffatee guddina jabina isaatiin fuula duratti deemaa jiru kun eenyu? “Inni anuma, kan qajeelummaan dubbatu, kan oolchuufis humna qabu anaa dha.”
Who is this who comes from Edom, clothed in red from Bozrah? Who is he in royal clothing, marching confidently because of his great strength? It is I, speaking righteousness and powerfully able to save.
2 Uffanni kee maaliif akkuma uffata nama boolla wayinii itti cuunfan keessatti wayinii dhidhiitu tokkoo diimata?
Why are your clothes red, and why do they look like you have been treading grapes in a winepress?
3 “Ani kophaa koo boolla itti wayinii cuunfan keessatti wayinii nan dhidhiite; saboota keessaa namni tokko iyyuu na wajjin hin turre. Ani aarii kootiin isaan irra dhaabadhee dheekkamsa kootiin gad isaan dhidhiite; dhiigni isaanii wayyaa kootti faffacaʼe; wayyaa koo hundas ni faale.
I have trodden grapes in the winepress alone, and no one from the nations joined me. I trod them in my anger and trampled them in my fury. Their blood is spattered on my clothes and stained all my clothes.
4 Guyyaan haaloo baʼuu garaa koo keessa jiraatii; waggaan ani itti nama furus dhufeera.
For I looked forward to the day of vengeance, and the year for my redemption had arrived.
5 Anis milʼadhee nama na gargaaru tokko iyyuu nan dhabe; gargaarsa tokko iyyuu dhabnaan nan dinqisiifadhe; kanaafuu irreen koo fayyina naa fide; dheekkamsi koos na utube.
I looked, and there was no one to help. I wondered that there was none to help, but my own arm brought victory for me, and my strong anger drove me on.
6 Ani aarii kootiin saboota irra nan dhidhiite; dheekkamsa kootiinis isaan nan macheesse; dhiiga isaanii lafa irra nan lolaase.”
I trampled down the peoples in my anger and made them drunk in my wrath, and I poured out their blood on the earth.
7 Akkuma waan inni nuuf hojjete hundaatti ani waaʼee jaalala Waaqayyoo // kan hin geeddaramne sanaa hojii inni ittiin galateeffamuu qabu nan odeessa; wantoota gaggaarii inni akkuma gara laafinaa fi arjummaa isaa hedduu sanaatti mana Israaʼeliif hojjete baayʼee ani dhugumaan nan odeessa.
I will tell of the acts of Yahweh's covenant faithfulness, the praiseworthy deeds of Yahweh. I will tell of all that Yahweh has done for us, and of his great goodness to the house of Israel. This compassion he has shown us because of his mercy, and with many deeds of covenant faithfulness.
8 Innis, “Isaan dhugumaan saba koo ti; ijoollee hin sobnee dha” jedhe; kanaafuu inni Fayyisaa isaanii taʼe.
For he said, “For certain they are my people, children who are not disloyal.” He became their Savior.
9 Dhiphina isaanii hunda keessatti, innis ni dhiphate; ergamaan Waaqayyoo kan fuula isaa dura dhaabatu isaan baraare. Jaalalaa fi araara isaatiin isaan fure; bara durii hunda keessa, inni ol fuudhee isaan baate.
Through all their suffering, he suffered too, and the angel from his presence saved them. In his love and mercy he saved them, and he lifted them up and carried them through all the ancient times.
10 Isaan garuu fincilanii Hafuura isaa Qulqulluu gaddisiisan. Kanaafuu inni deebiʼee diina isaanii taʼe; inni mataan isaas isaan lole.
But they rebelled and grieved his Holy Spirit. So he became their enemy and fought against them.
11 Kana irratti sabni isaa bara durii, bara Museetii fi saba isaa yaadatee akkana jedhe: Inni tiksee bushaayee isaa wajjin galaana keessaa isaan baase sun eessa jira? Inni Hafuura isaa Qulqulluu gidduu isaanii buuse,
His people thought about the ancient times of Moses. They said, “Where is God, who brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of his flock? Where is God, who put his Holy Spirit among them?
12 kan akka irreen isaa ulfina qabeessi jabaan sun, harka mirgaa kan Musee wajjin jiraatuuf erge, kan maqaa bara baraa ofii isaatiif godhachuudhaaf fuula isaanii duratti bishaan gargar qoode,
Where is God, who made his glorious power go with the right hand of Moses, and divided the water before them, to make an everlasting name for himself?
13 kan tuujuba keessaan isaan qajeelche sun eessa jira? Isaan akkuma farda biyya balʼaa keessa gulufu tokkoo hin gufanne;
Where is God, who led them through the deep water? Like a horse running on flat land, they did not stumble.
14 akkuma loon dirreetti bobbaʼaniitti, Hafuurri Waaqayyoo boqonnaa isaaniif kenne. Akki ati itti maqaa ulfina qabu ofii keetiif godhachuudhaaf jettee saba kee qajeelchite kanaa dha.
As the cattle that go down into the valley, the Spirit of Yahweh gave them rest. So you led your people, to make yourself a name of praise.
15 Ati samii irraa, teessoo kee qulqulluu fi ulfina qabeessa sana irraa gad ilaali. Hinaaffaan keetii fi jabinni kee eessa jiru? Jaalallii fi gara laafinni kee nurraa ittifamaniiru.
Look down from heaven and take notice from your holy and glorious habitation. Where are your zeal and your mighty acts? Your pity and your compassionate actions are kept from us.
16 Yoo Abrahaam nu beekuu baatee, yookaan Israaʼel nu yaadachuu baate iyyuu, ati dhugumaan abbaa keenya; Yaa Waaqayyo, ati abbaa keenya; Furaan keenya durumaa jalqabee maqaa kee ti.
For you are our father, though Abraham does not know us, and Israel does not recognize us, you, Yahweh, are our father. 'Our Redeemer' has been your name from ancient times.
17 Yaa Waaqayyo, ati maaliif akka nu karaa kee irraa badnuu fi akka garaan keenya jabaatee nu si sodaachuu didnu nu goota? Sababii garboota kee, gosoota handhuuraa kee taʼaniitiif jedhii deebiʼi.
Yahweh, why do you make us wander from your ways and harden our hearts, so we do not obey you? Return for your servants' sake, the tribes of your inheritance.
18 Sabni kee yeroo yartuuf iddoo kee qulqulluu dhaalee ture; amma garuu diinonni keenya iddoo kee qulqulluu gad dhidhiitaa jiru.
Your people possessed your holy place for a short time, but then our enemies trampled it.
19 Nu durumaa jalqabnee kanuma kee ti; ati garuu isaan hin bulchine; isaanis maqaa keetiin hin waamamne.
We have become like those over whom you never ruled, like those who were never called by your name.”
