ଆୟୁବ 42
1 ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଆୟୁବ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଇ କହିଲା,
Then Job answered Jehovah, and said,
2 “ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମୁଁ ଜାଣେ ଯେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସବୁ କରିପାର ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର କୌଣସି ସଂକଳ୍ପ ନିବାରଣ କରାଯାଇ ନ ପାରେ।
I know that thou can do all things, and that no purpose of thine can be restrained.
3 ‘ଜ୍ଞାନ ବିନା ମନ୍ତ୍ରଣା ଗୋପନକାରୀ ଏ କିଏ?’ ସତ୍ୟ, ମୁଁ ଯାହା ବୁଝିଲି ନାହିଁ, ଯେଉଁ ଅତି ଆଶ୍ଚର୍ଯ୍ୟ କଥା ଜାଣିଲି ନାହିଁ, ତାହା ହିଁ କହିଅଛି।
Who is this who hides counsel without knowledge? Therefore I have uttered that which I did not understand, things too wonderful for me, which I did not know.
4 ବିନୟ କରୁଅଛି, ‘ଶୁଣ, ମୁଁ କଥା କହିବି; ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ କରିବି, ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମୋତେ ବୁଝାଇ ଦିଅ।’
Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak, I will ask of thee, and declare thou to me.
5 ମୁଁ କର୍ଣ୍ଣରେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିଷୟ ଶୁଣିଥିଲି; ମାତ୍ର ଏବେ ମୋହର ଚକ୍ଷୁ ତୁମ୍ଭଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖୁଅଛି,
I had heard of thee by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees thee.
6 ଏହେତୁ ମୁଁ ଆପଣାକୁ ଘୃଣା କରୁଅଛି, ପୁଣି ଧୂଳି ଓ ଭସ୍ମରେ ବସି ଅନୁତାପ କରୁଅଛି।”
Therefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.
7 ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆୟୁବକୁ ଏହିସବୁ କଥା କହିଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୈମନୀୟ ଇଲୀଫସ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭ ପ୍ରତି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଦୁଇ ମିତ୍ର ପ୍ରତି ଆମ୍ଭର କୋପ ପ୍ରଜ୍ୱଳିତ ହୋଇଅଛି; କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭ ଦାସ ଆୟୁବ ପରି ଆମ୍ଭ ବିଷୟରେ ଯଥାର୍ଥ କଥା କହି ନାହଁ।
And it was so, that, after Jehovah had spoken these words to Job, Jehovah said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends. For ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job has.
8 ଏଣୁ ଏବେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ସାତ ବୃଷ ଓ ସାତ ମେଷ ନେଇ ଆମ୍ଭ ଦାସ ଆୟୁବ ନିକଟକୁ ଯାଅ ଓ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ହୋମବଳି ରୂପେ ତାହା ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କର, ତହିଁରେ ଆମ୍ଭ ଦାସ ଆୟୁବ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରିବ; କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାକୁ ଗ୍ରାହ୍ୟ କରି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମୂର୍ଖତା ପ୍ରମାଣେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ବ୍ୟବହାର କରିବା ନାହିଁ; ଯେହେତୁ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭ ଦାସ ଆୟୁବ ପରି ଆମ୍ଭ ବିଷୟରେ ଯଥାର୍ଥ କଥା କହି ନାହଁ।”
Now therefore, take to you seven bullocks and seven rams. And go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering. And my servant Job shall pray for you, for him I will accept, that I not deal with you after your folly. For ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job has.
9 ତହିଁରେ ତୈମନୀୟ ଇଲୀଫସ୍ ଓ ଶୂହୀୟ ବିଲ୍ଦଦ୍ ଓ ନାମାଥୀୟ ସୋଫର ଯାଇ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞା ପ୍ରମାଣେ କର୍ମ କଲେ; ପୁଣି, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆୟୁବକୁ ଗ୍ରାହ୍ୟ କଲେ।
So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went and did according as Jehovah commanded them, and Jehovah accepted Job.
10 ପୁଣି, ଆୟୁବ ଆପଣା ମିତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥନା କରନ୍ତେ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାହାର ବନ୍ଦୀ ଅବସ୍ଥା ପରିବର୍ତ୍ତନ କଲେ; ପୁଣି, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆୟୁବକୁ ତାହାର ପୂର୍ବ ସମ୍ପଦର ଦ୍ୱିଗୁଣ ପ୍ରଦାନ କଲେ।
And Jehovah turned back the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. And Jehovah gave Job twice as much as he had before.
11 ତହିଁରେ ଆୟୁବର ସମସ୍ତ ଭ୍ରାତା ଓ ସମସ୍ତ ଭଗିନୀ ଓ ତାହାର ପୂର୍ବ ପରିଚିତ ସମସ୍ତେ ତାହା ନିକଟକୁ ଆସି ତାହାର ଗୃହରେ ତାହା ସଙ୍ଗେ ଭୋଜନ କଲେ; ଆଉ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାହା ଉପରେ ଯେସବୁ ବିପଦ ଘଟାଇଥିଲେ, ତହିଁ ସକାଶୁ ସେମାନେ ଦୁଃଖ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରି ତାହାକୁ ସାନ୍ତ୍ୱନା କଲେ; ମଧ୍ୟ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ଲୋକ ଏକ ଏକ କସୀତା ମୁଦ୍ରା ଓ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକେ ଏକ ଏକ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ମୁଦ୍ରିକା ଦେଲେ।
Then there came to him all his brothers, and all his sisters, and all those who had been of his acquaintance before, and ate bread with him in his house. And they bemoaned him, and comforted him concerning all the evil that Jehovah had brought upon him. Each man also gave him a piece of money, and each one a ring of gold.
12 ଏହିରୂପେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆୟୁବର ଆଦ୍ୟ ଅବସ୍ଥା ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଶେଷ ଅବସ୍ଥାକୁ ଅଧିକ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦଯୁକ୍ତ କଲେ; ତହିଁରେ ତାହାର ଚଉଦ ହଜାର ମେଷ ଓ ଛଅ ହଜାର ଉଷ୍ଟ୍ର ଓ ଏକ ହଜାର ହଳ ବଳଦ ଓ ଏକ ହଜାର ଗର୍ଦ୍ଦଭୀ ହେଲେ।
So Jehovah blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning. And he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she-donkeys.
13 ମଧ୍ୟ ତାହାର ସାତ ପୁତ୍ର ଓ ତିନି କନ୍ୟା ଜନ୍ମିଲେ।
He had also seven sons and three daughters.
14 ପୁଣି, ସେ ପ୍ରଥମ କନ୍ୟାର ନାମ ଯିମୀମା ଓ ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟାର ନାମ କତ୍ସୀୟା ଓ ତୃତୀୟାର ନାମ କେରଣ-ହପ୍ପୁକ୍ ଦେଲା।
And he called the name of the first, Jemimah, and the name of the second, Keziah, and the name of the third, Keren-happuch.
15 ସାରା ଦେଶରେ କୌଣସି ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଆୟୁବର କନ୍ୟାମାନଙ୍କ ପରି ରୂପବତୀ ନ ଥିଲେ; ଆଉ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପିତା ସେମାନଙ୍କ ଭ୍ରାତୃଗଣ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଅଧିକାର ଦେଲା।
And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job. And their father gave them inheritance among their brothers.
16 ପୁଣି, ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଆୟୁବ ଏକ ଶହ ଚାଳିଶ ବର୍ଷ ବଞ୍ଚି ଚାରି ପିଢ଼ି ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଆପଣାର ପୁତ୍ରପୌତ୍ରମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖିଲା।
And after this Job lived a hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons' sons, even four generations.
17 ଏହିରୂପେ ଆୟୁବ ବୃଦ୍ଧ ଓ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣାୟୁ ହୋଇ ପ୍ରାଣତ୍ୟାଗ କଲା।
So Job died, being old and full of days.
