भजनसंग्रह 1

1 त्यो मानिस धन्यको हो जो दुष्‍टको सल्लाहमा हिंड्दैन वा पापीहरूका मार्गहरूमा खडा हुँदैन वा गिल्‍ला गर्नेहरूको सभामा बस्दैन ।

Blessed is the one who doesn't follow the advice of the wicked, or take the path of sinners, or join in with scoffers.

2 तर त्यसको खुसी परमप्रभुको व्यवस्थामा हुन्छ र उहाँको व्यावस्थमा त्यसले दिन र रात मनन् गर्छ ।

But his delight is in the law of Jehovah, and on his law he meditates day and night.

3 त्यो खोलाको किनारमा रोपेको रूखजस्तै हुनेछ जसले आफ्‍नो ऋतुमा त्‍यसको फल दिन्छ जसको पातहरू कहिल्यै ओइलाउँदैन त्यसले जे गरे पनि सफल हुनेछ ।

He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither, and whatever he does shall prosper.

4 दुष्‍टहरू त्‍यस्ता होइनन् तर हावाले उडाउने भुसजस्तै हुन् ।

Not so with the wicked; instead, they are like the chaff which the wind drives away.

5 त्यसैले दुष्‍टहरू न्यायमा खडा हुनेछैनन् न त पापीहरू धर्मीको सभामा हुनेछन् ।

Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

6 किनकि परमप्रभुले धर्मीलाई मार्गदर्शन गर्नुहुन्छ तर दुष्‍टको मार्ग भने नष्‍ट हुनेछ ।

For Jehovah knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked shall perish.
