भजनसंग्रह 143
1 हे परमप्रभु, मेरो प्रार्थना सुन्नुहोस् । मेरो बिन्ती सुन्नुहोस् । तपाईंको विश्वस्तता र धार्मिकताको कारणले मलाई जवाफ दिनुहोस् ।
A Psalm of David, when his son pursued him. O Lord, attend to my prayer: hearken to my supplication in thy truth; hear me in thy righteousness.
2 तपाईंको सेवकलाई इन्साफमा नपार्नुहोस्, किनकि तपाईंको दृष्टिमा कोही पनि धर्मी छैन ।
And enter not into judgment with thy servant, for in thy sight shall no [man] living be justified.
3 शत्रुले मेरो ज्यान लिनलाई खेदेका छ । त्यसले मलाई जमिनमा कुल्चेको छ । त्यसले मलाई उहिले नै मरेकाहरूझैं अँध्यारोमा बस्न लगाएको छ ।
For the enemy has persecuted my soul; he has brought my life down to the ground; he has made me to dwell in a dark [place], as those that have been long dead.
4 मभित्र मेरो आत्मा व्याकुल भएको छ । मेरो हृदय निराश हुन्छ ।
Therefore my spirit was grieved in me; my heart was troubled within me.
5 पुराना दिनहरूलाई म सम्झिन्छु । तपाईंका सबै कामहरू म ध्यान गर्छु । तपाईंका उपव्धीहरूमा म चिन्तन गर्छु ।
I remembered the days of old; and I meditated on all thy doings: [yea], I meditated on the works of thine hands.
6 म आफ्ना हातहरू तपाईंतिर फैलाउँछु । सुख्खा जमिनमा मेरो प्राण तपाईंको तृष्णा गर्छ । सेला
I spread forth my hands to thee; my soul [thirsts] for thee, as a dry land. (Pause)
7 हे परमप्रभु, मलाई चाँडै जवाफ दिनुहोस्, किनभने मेरो आत्मा मूर्छित हुन्छ । तपाईंको मुहार मबाट नलुकाउनुहोस्, नत्रता ती खाल्डोमा जानेहरूजस्तै म हुनेछु ।
Hear me speedily, O Lord; my spirit has failed; turn not away thy face from me, else I shall be like to them that go down to the pit.
8 बिहानमा मलाई तपाईंको करारको विश्वस्तता सुन्न दिनुहोस्, किनकि म तपाईंमा भरोसा गर्छु । म कहाँ हिंड्नुपर्छ सो मलाई देखाउनुहोस्, किनकि म आफ्नो प्राण तपाईंतिर उचाल्छु ।
Cause me to hear thy mercy in the morning; for I have hoped in thee; make known to me, O Lord, the way wherein I should walk; for I have lifted up my soul to thee.
9 हे परमप्रभु, मेरा शत्रुहरूबाट मलाई बचाउनुहोस् । लुक्नलाई म तपाईंकहाँ भागेर आउँछु ।
Deliver me from mine enemies, O Lord; for I have fled to thee for refuge.
10 तपाईंको इच्छा पुरा गर्न मलाई सिकाउनुहोस्, किनकि तपाईं मेरो परमेश्वर हुनुहुन्छ । तपाईंको असल आत्माले मलाई सोझाहरूका देशमा डोर्याओस् ।
Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God; thy good Spirit shall guide me in the straight [way].
11 हे परमप्रभु, तपाईंको नाउँको खातिर मलाई जीवित राख्नुहोस् । तपाईंको धार्मिकतामा मेरो प्राणलाई कष्टबाट बाहिर निकाल्नुहोस् ।
Thou shalt quicken me, O Lord, for thy name's sake; in thy righteousness thou shalt bring my soul out of affliction.
12 तपाईंको करारको विश्वस्ततामा मेरा शत्रुहरूलाई नष्ट पार्नुहोस् र मेरो जीवनका सबै शत्रुलाई नाश गर्नुहोस्, किनकि म तपाईंको सेवक हुँ ।
And in thy mercy thou wilt destroy mine enemies, and wilt destroy all those that afflict my soul; for I am thy servant.
