भजनसंग्रह 118
1 परमप्रभुलाई धन्यवाद चढाओ, किनकि उहाँ भलो हुनुहुन्छ । किनकि उहाँको करारको विश्वस्तता सदासर्वदा रहन्छ ।
Tell Yahweh that you thank him very much for the good [things that he has done for you] He faithfully loves [us, his people], forever.
2 इस्राएलले भनोस्, “उहाँको करारको विश्वस्तता सदासर्वदा रहन्छ ।”
You Israeli [people] should [repeatedly] shout, “He faithfully loves [us, his people], forever!”
3 हारूनको घरानाले भनोस्, “उहाँको करारको विश्वस्तता सदासर्वदा रहन्छ ।”
You [priests] who are descendants of Aaron should repeatedly shout, “He faithfully loves us, his people, forever!”
4 बफादार भएर परमप्रभुको अनुसरण गर्नेहरूले भनून्, “उहाँको करारको विश्वस्तता सदासर्वदा रहन्छ ।”
All you who revere him should repeatedly shout, “He faithfully loves [us, his people], forever!”
5 मेरो संकष्टमा मैले परमप्रभुलाई पुकारा गरें । परमप्रभुले मलाई जवाफ दिनुभयो र मलाई स्वतन्त्र गर्नुभयो ।
When I was distressed, I called out to Yahweh, and he answered me and set me free [from my worries/troubles].
6 परमप्रभु मसँग हुनुहुन्छ । म भयभीत हुनेछैन । मानिसले मलाई के गर्न सक्छ र?
Yahweh is (on my side/helping me), so I will not be afraid [of anything]. No one [RHQ] can do anything that will [prevent God from blessing] me forever.
7 परमप्रभु मेरो सहायकको रूपमा मेरो पक्षमा हुनुहुन्छ । मलाई घृणा गर्नेहरूलाई म विजयको दृष्टिले हे्र्नेछु ।
[Yes], Yahweh is (on my side/helping me), [so] I will look triumphantly at my enemies [while he defeats them].
8 मानिसमा भरोसा गर्नुभन्दा परमप्रभुमा शरण लिनु असल हुन्छ ।
It is better to trust in Yahweh than to (depend on/trust in) people.
9 कसैले शासकहरूमा भरोसा गर्नुभन्दा परमप्रभुमा शरण लिनु असल हुन्छ ।
It is better to trust Yahweh to protect [us] than to trust [that influential/important] people [will protect us].
10 सबै जातिले मलाई घेरा हाले । परमप्रभुको नाउँमा मैले तिनीहरूलाई नष्ट पारें ।
Armies of [MTY] many nations surrounded me, [but] Yahweh enabled me to defeat them by his power [MTY].
11 तिनीहरूले मलाई घेरा हाले । हो, तिनीहरूले मलाई घेरा हाले । परमप्रभुको नाउँमा मैले तिनीहरूलाई नष्ट पारें ।
They completely surrounded me, [but] I defeated them all by the power of Yahweh.
12 तिनीहरूले मलाई मौरीहरूले झैं घेरा हाले । काँढाहरू बिचको आगो जत्तिकै छिटो तिनीहरू लोप भए । परमप्रभुको नाउँमा मैले तिनीहरूलाई नष्ट पारें ।
They swarmed around me like [angry] bees; they were like a fire that blazes strongly, but only briefly, in a thornbush, [but] I defeated them by the power [MTY] that Yahweh gave me.
13 तिनीहरूले मलाई गिराउनलाई आक्रमण गरे, तर परमप्रभुले मलाई सहायता गर्नुभयो ।
[My enemies] attacked me fiercely and almost defeated me, but Yahweh helped me.
14 परमप्रभु मेरो बल र आनन्द हुनुहुन्छ, अनि मलाई बचाउने उहाँ नै हुनुहुन्छ ।
Yahweh is the one who makes me strong, and he is the one about whom I [always] sing; he has saved me [from my enemies].
15 धर्मीहरूका पालहरूमा विजयको आनन्दित सोर सुनिन्छ । परमप्रभुको दाहिने बाहुलीले विजय प्राप्त गर्छ ।
Listen to the joyful songs of victory being sung in the tents of godly/righteous people! They sing, “Yahweh has defeated our enemies by his mighty power [MTY];
16 परमप्रभुको दाहिने बाहुली उच्च पारिन्छ । परमप्रभुको दाहिने बाहुलीले विजय प्राप्त गर्छ ।
he has raised his strong right arm [to show he has defeated his enemies]. Yahweh has completely defeated them!”
17 म मर्नेछैन, तर जिउनेछु र परमप्रभुका कामहरू घोषणा गर्नेछु ।
I will not be killed [in battle]; I will live to proclaim the great things that Yahweh has done.
18 परमप्रभुले मलाई कठोर किसिमले दण्ड दिनुभएको छ । तर उहाँले मलाई मृत्युमा सुम्पिनुभएको छैन ।
Yahweh has punished me severely, but he has not allowed (me to die/[my enemies] to kill me).
19 मलाई धार्मिकताका ढोकाहरू खोल्नुहोस् । तिनीहरूभित्र म पस्नेछु र परमप्रभुलाई म धन्यवाद दिनेछु ।
[You gatekeepers], open for me the gates of the temple in order that I may enter and thank Yahweh.
20 यो परमप्रभुको ढोका हो । धर्मी यसबाट भित्र पस्छ ।
Those are the gates [through which we enter the temple to worship] Yahweh; godly/righteous people enter those gates.
21 म तपाईंलाई धन्यवाद दिनेछु, किनकि तपाईंले मलाई जवाफ दिनुभयो र तपाईं मेरो उद्धार हुनुभएको छ ।
[Yahweh], I thank you that you answered my prayer, and you saved me [from my enemies].
22 निर्माण गर्नेहरूले इन्कार गरेको ढुङ्गो कुनेढुङ्गा बनेको छ ।
[Yahweh’s promised/chosen king is like] [MET] the stone which the builders rejected [when they were building a house], [but that stone] became the (cornerstone/most important stone in the building).
23 यो परमप्रभुको काम हो । यो हाम्रा दृष्टिमा अचम्मको कुरा हो ।
(This was done by Yahweh/Yahweh has done this), and it is a wonderful thing for us to see.
24 यो दिनमा परमप्रभुले काम गर्नुभएको छ । यसमा हामी आनन्दित हुनेछौं र खुसी हुनेछौं ।
This is the day in which [we remember that] Yahweh acted [powerfully to defeat our enemies]; we will rejoice and be glad/happy today.
25 हे परमप्रभु, हामीलाई विजय दिनुहोस्! हे परमप्रभु, हामीलाई सफलता दिनुहोस्!
Yahweh, we plead with you to [keep] rescuing us [from our enemies]. Yahweh, please help us (accomplish/do well) [what we want to do].
26 परमप्रभुको नाउँमा आउने धन्यको हो । तिमीलाई परमप्रभुको मन्दिरबाट हामी आशीर्वाद दिनेछौं ।
Yahweh, bless the one who will come with your authority [MTY]. And from the temple we (bless/[ask Yahweh to] bless) all of you.
27 परमप्रभु परमेश्वर हुनुहुन्छ र उहाँले हामीलाई ज्योति दिनुभएको छ । वेदीका सिङहरूमा बलिदानलाई डोरीहरूले बाँध ।
Yahweh is God, and he has caused his light to shine on us. Come, carrying [palm] branches, and join the people [who are starting] the festival as they go to the altar.
28 तपाईं मेरो परमेश्वर हुनुहुन्छ, र म तपाईंलाई धन्यवाद दिनेछु । तपाईं मेरो परमेश्वर हुनुहुन्छ । म तपाईंलाई उच्च पार्नेछु ।
[Yahweh], you are the God whom I [worship], and I will praise you! You are my God, and I will tell [everyone] that you are great!
29 परमप्रभुलाई धन्यवाद चढाओ । किनकि उहाँ भलो हुनुहुन्छ । किनकि उहाँको करारको विश्वस्तता सदासर्वदा रहन्छ ।
Thank Yahweh, because he does good things [for us] He will faithfully love [us] forever.
