मत्ती 28
1 अब शबाथको समय सकिनै लाग्दा हप्ताको पहिलो दिनको झिसमिसेमा मरियम मग्दलिनी र मरियम नाउँ गरेकी अर्की स्त्री चिहान हेर्न आए ।
After the Sabbath, in the early dawn of the first day of the week, Mary of Magdala and the other Mary came to see the sepulchre.
2 हेर, त्यहाँ विशाल भूकम्प गयो, किनकि परमप्रभुका एक स्वर्गदूत स्वर्गबाट तल ओर्ले; अनि ढुङ्गा हटाए, र त्यसमाथि बसे ।
But to their amazement there had been a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord had descended from Heaven, and had come and rolled back the stone, and was sitting upon it.
3 तिनको रूप बिजुलीजस्तो थियो, र पहिरन हिउँजस्तै सेतो थियो ।
His appearance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow.
4 पहरेदारहरू डरले थरथर काँपे र मरेका मानिसहरूजस्तै भए ।
For fear of him the guards trembled violently, and became like dead men.
5 स्वर्गदूतले ती स्त्रीहरूलाई सम्बोधन गरे र भने, “भयभीत नहोओ, किनकि मलाई थाहा छ, कि तिमीहरूले क्रुसमा टाँगिनुभएका येशूलाई खोज्दै छौ ।
But the angel said to the women, "As for you, dismiss your fears. I know that it is Jesus that you are looking for--the crucified One.
6 उहाँ यहाँ हुनुहुन्न, तर जस्तो उहाँले भन्नुभएको थियो, उहाँ जीवित भई उठ्नुभएको छ । आएर प्रभुलाई राखिएको ठाउँ हेर ।
He is not here: He has come back to life, as He foretold. Come and see the place where He lay.
7 झट्टै जाओ र उहाँका चेलाहरूलाई भन, ‘उहाँ मृतकहरूबाट जीवित भई उठ्नुभएको छ । हेर, उहाँ तिमीहरूभन्दा अगि गालीलमा जाँदै हुनुहुन्छ । त्यहीँ नै तिमीहरूले उहाँलाई देख्नेछौ ।’ हेर, मैले तिमीहरूलाई बताइदिएको छु ।”
And go quickly and tell His disciples that He has risen from the dead and is going before you into Galilee: there you shall see Him. Remember, I have told you."
8 ती स्त्रीहरू तुरुन्तै डर र आनन्दका साथ चिहानबाट निस्के, अनि उहाँका चेलाहरूलाई यो बताउनको निम्ति दौडे ।
They quickly left the tomb and ran, still terrified but full of unspeakable joy, to carry the news to His disciples.
9 हेर, येशूले तिनीहरूलाई भेट्नुभयो र भन्नुभयो, “सबैलाई अभिवादन छ ।” ती स्त्रीहरू आए, उहाँका पाउ पक्रे, र उहाँलाई दण्डवत् गरे ।
And then suddenly they saw Jesus coming to meet them. "Peace be to you," He said. And they came and clasped His feet, bowing to the ground before Him.
10 त्यसपछि येशूले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, “नडराओ । जाओ मेरा भाइहरूलाई गालीलमा जानू भनेर भनिदेओ । त्यहाँ तिनीहरूले मलाई भेट्नेछन् ।”
Then He said, "Dismiss all fear! Go and take word to my brethren to go into Galilee, and there they shall see me."
11 जब ती स्त्रीहरू जाँदै थिए, हेर, केही पहरेदारहरू सहरमा गए र मुख्य पुजारीहरूलाई त्यहाँ भएका सबै घटना बताइदिए ।
While they went on this errand, some of the guards came into the city and reported to the High Priests every detail of what had happened.
12 जब पुजारीहरूले एल्डरहरूलाई भेटे र ती सबै घटनाको बारेमा तिनीहरूसँग छलफल गरे, तिनीहरूले सिपाहीहरूलाई धेरै पैसा दिए,
So the latter held a conference with the Elders, and after consultation with them they heavily bribed the soldiers,
13 र तिनीहरूलाई भने, “तिमीहरूले अरूहरूलाई यस्तो भन, ‘हामी सुतिरहेका बेला येशूका चेलाहरू आए र उनको मृत शरीरलाई चोरेर लगे ।’
telling them to say, "His disciples came during the night and stole his body while we were asleep."
14 यदि यो खबर हाकिमकहाँ पुग्यो भने, हामी उहाँलाई राजी गराउनेछौँ र तिमीहरूलाई कुनै समस्यामा पर्न दिनेछैनौँ ।”
"And if this," they added, "is reported to the Governor, we will satisfy him and screen you from punishment."
15 अनि ती सिपाहीहरूले पैसा लिए र उनीहरूलाई जस्तो निर्देशन दिइएको थियो, त्यस्तै गरे । यही खबर यहूदीहरूका माझमा सर्वत्र फैलियो र आजको दिनसम्म पनि यही कायम छ ।
So they took the money and did as they were instructed; and this story was noised about among the Jews, and is current to this day.
16 तर एघार जना चेला गालीलको त्यस डाँडामा गए जहाँ येशूले जानू भनी तिनीहरूलाई निर्देशन दिनुभएको थियो ।
As for the eleven disciples, they proceeded into Galilee, to the hill where Jesus had arranged to meet them.
17 जब उनीहरूले उहाँलाई देखे, उनीहरूले उहाँलाई दण्डवत् गरे, तर कतिले चाहिँ शङ्का गरे ।
There they saw Him and prostrated themselves before Him. Yet some doubted.
18 येशू उनीहरूकहाँ आउनुभयो र उनीहरूसँग बोल्नुभयो र भन्नुभयो, “स्वर्ग र पृथ्वीमा सबै अधिकार मलाई दिइएको छ ।
Jesus however came near and said to them, "All power in Heaven and over the earth has been given to me.
19 यसकारण, जाओ र सबै देशका जातिलाई चेला बनाओ । पिता, पुत्र र पवित्र आत्माको नाउँमा तिनीहरूलाई बप्तिस्मा देओ ।
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations; baptize them into the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit;
