न्यायकर्ताहरू 13

1 इस्राएलका मानिसहरूले फेरि परमप्रभुको दृष्‍टिमा जे कुरा खराब थियो त्यही गरे, र उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई पलिश्तीहरूका हातमा चालिस वर्षसम्म सुम्पनुभयो ।

And the sons of Israel add to do evil in the eyes of YHWH, and YHWH gives them into the hand of the Philistines [for] forty years.

2 त्यहाँ सोराबाट आएका दानको वंशका एक जना मानिस थिए, तिनको नाउँ मानोह थियो । तिनकी पत्‍नी गर्भवती हुन सकेकी थिइनन् र यसैले तिनले जन्म दिएकी थिइनन् ।

And there is a certain man of Zorah, of the family of the Danite, and his name [is] Manoah, his wife [is] barren, and has not borne;

3 परमप्रभुका एउटा दूत ती स्‍त्रीकहाँ देखा परे र तिनलाई भने, “तिमी गर्भवती हुन सकेकी छैनौ, र तिमीले जन्म दिएकी छैनौ, तर तिमी गर्भवती हुनेछौ र तिमीले एउटा छोरो जमाउनेछौ ।

and the Messenger of YHWH appears to the woman and says to her, “Now behold, you [are] barren and have not borne; when you have conceived, then you have borne a son.

4 अब दाखमद्य वा कडा पेय नपिउन होसियार होऊ, र कुनै अशुद्ध कुरा नखाऊ ।

And now, please take heed and do not drink wine and strong drink, and do not eat any unclean thing,

5 हेर, तिमी गर्भवती हुनेछौ र एउटा छोरो जन्माउनेछौ । उसको कपालमा छुरा लाग्‍नेछैन, किनकि त्यो बालक गर्भदेखि नै परमेश्‍वरको निम्ति नाजिरी हुनेछ, र उसले इस्राएललाई पलिश्तीहरूका हातबाट छुटकारा दिन सुरु गर्नेछ ।”

for behold, you are conceiving and bearing a son, and a razor does not go up on his head, for the youth is a Nazarite to God from the womb, and he begins to save Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.”

6 तब ती स्‍त्री आइन् र आफ्नो पतिलाई भनिन्, “परमप्रभुका एक जना मानिस मकहाँ आउनुभयो, र उहाँको मुहार परमेश्‍वरका दूतका झैं धेरै डरलाग्‍दो थियो । उहाँ कहाँबाट आउनुभएको हो भनेर मैले सोधिनँ, र उहाँले मलाई आफ्नो नाउँ भन्‍नुभएन ।

And the woman comes and speaks to her husband, saying, “A Man of God has come to me, and His appearance [is] as the appearance of the Messenger of God, very fearful, and I have not asked Him where He [is] from, and he has not declared His Name to me;

7 उहाँले मलाई भन्‍नुभयो, ‘हेर, तिमी गर्भवती हुनेछौ, र तिमीले एउटा छोरो जन्माउनेछौ । यसैले दाखमद्य वा कडा पेय नपिउनू, र व्यवस्थाले अशुद्ध भनेर घोषणा गरेको कुनै कुरा नखानू, किनभने त्‍यो बालक तिम्रो गर्भदेखि उसको मृत्युको दिनसम्म नै परमप्रभुको निम्ति नाजिरी हुनेछ ।’”

and He says to me, Behold, you are pregnant, and bearing a son, and now do not drink wine and strong drink, and do not eat any unclean thing, for the youth is a Nazarite to God from the womb until the day of his death.”

8 त्यसपछि मानोहले परमप्रभुसँग प्रार्थना गरे र यसो भने, “हे, परमप्रभु, तपाईंले पठाउनुभएका परमेश्‍वरका मानिसलाई फेरि हामीकहाँ पठाइदिनुहोस् ताकि अब छिटै जन्मने बालकलाई हामीले के गर्नुपर्छ भनेर उहाँले हामीलाई सिकाउन सकून् ।”

And Manoah makes plea to YHWH and says, “O my Lord, the Man of God whom You sent, please let Him come in again to us, and direct us what we do to the youth who is born.”

9 परमेश्‍वरले मानोहको पुकार सुन्‍नुभयो, र परमेश्‍वरका दूत फेरि ती स्‍त्रीकहाँ तिनी मैदानमा बसिरहँदा देखा परे । तर मानोह तिनका पति तिनीसँग थिएनन् ।

And God listens to the voice of Manoah, and the Messenger of God comes again to the woman, and she [is] sitting in a field, and her husband Manoah is not with her,

10 यसैले ती स्‍त्री दौडेर गईन् र आफ्ना पतिलाई बताइन्, “हेर्नुहोस्, ती मानिस, जो मकहाँ हिजो आउनुभएको थियो उहाँ फेरि मकहाँ देखापर्नुभएको छ!”

and the woman hurries, and runs, and declares [it] to her husband, and says to him, “Behold, He has appeared to me—the Man who came on [that] day to me.”

11 मानोह उठे र आफ्नी पत्‍नीको पछिपछि गए । जब तिनी ती मानिसकहाँ आए, तिनले भने, “के मेरी पत्‍नीसँग बोल्ने मानिस तपाईं नै हुनुहुन्छ?” ती मानिसले भने, “हो, मै हुँ ।”

And Manoah rises, and goes after his wife, and comes to the Man, and says to Him, “Are you the Man who spoke to the woman?” And He says, “I [am].”

12 यसैले मानोहले भने, “तपाईंका वचन पुरा होऊन् । त्यो बालकको निम्ति नियमहरू के हुनेछन्, र उसको काम के हुनेछ?”

And Manoah says, “Now let Your words come to pass; what is the custom of the youth—and his work?”

13 परमप्रभुका दूतले मानोहलाई भने, “मैले तिनलाई भनेका हरेक कुरा तिनले ध्यानपुर्वक गर्नुपर्छ ।

And the Messenger of YHWH says to Manoah, “Of all that I said to the woman let her take heed;

14 दाखको बोटबाट आउने केही पनि तिनले खानुहुँदैन, र तिनले दाखमद्य वा कडा पेय पिउन वा कुनै अशुद्ध कुरा खान नदिनू । मैले तिनलाई गर्नू भनी आज्ञा गरेका सबै कुरा तिनले पालना गर्नुपर्छ ।”

she does not eat of anything which comes out from the wine-vine, and she does not drink wine and strong drink, and she does not eat any unclean thing; she observes all that I have commanded her.”

15 मानोहले परमप्रभुका दूतलाई भने, “कृपया केही समय बस्‍नुहोस्, र तपाईंको निम्ति एउटा पाठो तयार गर्न हामीलाई समय मिल्नेछ ।”

And Manoah says to the Messenger of YHWH, “Please let us detain You, and we prepare a kid of the goats before You.”

16 परमप्रभुका दूतले मानोहलाई भने, “म बसें भने पनि म तिम्रो भोजन खानेछैनँ । तर तिमी होमबलि तयार गर्छौ भने, त्यो परमप्रभुलाई चढाउनू ।” (उनी परमप्रभुका दूत थिए भनेर मानोहलाई थाहा थिएन ।)

And the Messenger of YHWH says to Manoah, “If you detain Me—I do not eat of your bread; and if you prepare a burnt-offering—offer it to YHWH”; for Manoah has not known that He [is] the Messenger of YHWH.

17 मानोहले परमप्रभुका दूतलाई भने, “तपाईंको नाउँ के हो, ताकि तपाईंको वचन पुरा हुँदा हामी तपाईंलाई सम्मान गर्न सकौं?”

And Manoah says to the Messenger of YHWH, “What [is] Your Name? When Your words come to pass, then we have honored You.”

18 परमप्रभुका दूतले उनलाई भने, “तिमी किन मेरो नाउँ सोध्छौ? त्यो आश्‍चर्यपूर्ण छ!”

And the Messenger of YHWH says to him, “Why do you ask this, My Name, since it [is] incomprehensible?”

19 यसैले मानोहले अन्‍नबलिसित एउटा पाठो लिए र ती परमप्रभुलाई एउटा चट्टानमा चढाए । मानोह र तिनकी पत्‍नीले हेरिरहँदा उहाँले केही आश्‍चर्य काम गर्नुभयो ।

And Manoah takes the kid of the goats, and the present, and offers on the rock to YHWH, and He is doing wonderfully, and Manoah and his wife are looking on,

20 जब वेदीबाट आगो माथि आकाशतर्फ गयो, तब परमप्रभुका दूत वेदीको आगोमा माथि गए । मानोह र तिनकी पत्‍नीले यो देखे र आफ्नो मुहार भुइँमा घोप्‍टो पारे ।

and it comes to pass, in the going up of the flame from off the altar toward the heavens, that the Messenger of YHWH goes up in the flame of the altar, and Manoah and his wife are looking on, and they fall on their faces to the earth,

21 परमप्रभुका दूत मानोह वा उनकी पत्‍नीकहाँ फेरि देखा परेनन् । तब मानोहलाई तिनी परमप्रभुका दूत रहेछन् भनेर थाहा भयो ।

and the Messenger of YHWH has not added again to appear to Manoah, and to his wife, then Manoah has known that He [is] the Messenger of YHWH.

22 मानोहले आफ्नी पत्‍नीलाई भने, “हामी निश्‍चय नै मर्नेछौं, किनभने हामीले परमेश्‍वरलाई देखेका छौं!”

And Manoah says to his wife, “We certainly die, for we have seen God.”

23 तर तिनकी पत्‍नीले तिनलाई भनिन्, “परमप्रभुले हामीलाई मार्ने इच्‍छा गर्नुभएको भए, उहाँले हामीले अर्पण गरेका होमबलि र अन्‍नबलि ग्रहण गर्नुहुन्‍नथ्‍यो । उहाँले हामीलाई यी सबै कुराहरू देखाउनुन्‍नथ्‍यो, न त उहाँले यो समय हामीलाई यी कुराहरू भन्‍नुहुन्‍थ्‍यो ।”

And his wife says to him, “If YHWH were desirous to put us to death, He had not received burnt-offering and present from our hands, nor showed us all these things, nor caused us to hear [anything] like this as [at this] time.”

24 पछि ती स्‍त्रीले एउटा छोरो जन्माइन्, र तिनको नाउँ शिमशोन राखिन् । त्यो बालक बढ्दै गयो र परमप्रभुले उसलाई आशिष् दिनुभयो ।

And the woman bears a son, and calls his name Samson, and the youth grows, and YHWH blesses him,

25 परमप्रभुको आत्माले तिनलाई सोरा र एश्‍तोलको बिच महनेह-दानमा उत्तेजित पार्न सुरु गर्नुभयो ।

and the Spirit of YHWH begins to move him in the camp of Dan, between Zorah and Eshtaol.
