1 इस्राएलका मानिसहरूले पराजित गरेका त्यस भूमिका राजाहरू यिनै हुन् । इस्राएलीहरूले यर्दनको पूर्वतिरका अर्नोनको बेँसीदेखि हेर्मोन डाँडासम्म अनि पूर्वतिरका सबै अराबाका भूमिलाई कब्जा गरे ।

And these are the kings of the land, whom the children of Israel smote, and of whose land they took possession across the Jordan, toward the sun-rising, from the river Arnon to mount Hermon, and all the plain on the east:

2 एमोरी राजा सीहोन हेश्बोनमा बस्‍थे । तिनले अरोएरसम्म शासन गर्थे जुन बेँसीको माझमा पर्ने अर्नोनको छेउमा र अम्मोनीहरूको सिमानामा पर्ने गिलादको आधा भाग हो ।

Sihon the king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon, [and] ruled from Aroer, which is upon the bank of the river Arnon, and from the middle of the ravine, and over half Gilead, as far as the river Jabbok, [which is] the border of the children of Ammon;

3 सीहोनका राजाले अराबादेखि किन्‍नरेतको समुद्रसम्म, पूर्वतिर अराबाको समुद्रसम्म (मृत सागर), बेथ-यशीमोनतिर सबैतिर र पिसगाको ओरालोका पहाडहरूसम्म शासन गर्थे ।

and the plain as far as the sea of Chinneroth on the east, and as far as the sea of the plain, the salt sea, on the east, toward Beth-jeshimoth; and on the south, under the slopes of Pisgah;

4 रपाईहरूमा बाँकी रहेका एक जना बाशानका राजा ओग अस्तारोत र एद्रईमा बस्‍थे ।

and the territory of Og the king of Bashan, of the residue of the giants, who dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei,

5 तिनले हेर्मोन डाँडा, सलका, पूरै बाशानदेखि गशुरका मानिसहरू, माकाती गिलेदको आधा भागदेखि हेश्बोनका राजा सीहोनको सिमानासम्म शासन गर्थे ।

and ruled over mount Hermon, and over Salcah, and over all Bashan, as far as the border of the Geshurites and the Maachathites, and [over] half Gilead [as far as] the border of Sihon the king of Heshbon.

6 परमप्रभुका दास मोशा र इस्राएलका मानिसहरूले उनीहरूलाई पराजित गरे अनि परमप्रभुका दास मोशाले त्यो भूमिलाई रूबेनी, गादी र मनश्‍शेका आधा कुलको उत्तराधिकारको रूपमा दिए ।

Moses the servant of Jehovah and the children of Israel smote them, and Moses the servant of Jehovah gave it for a possession to the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to half the tribe of Manasseh.

7 त्यस भूमिका राजाहरू यिनै हुन् जसलाई यहोशू र इस्राएलका मानिसहरूले लेबनान नजिकको बाल-गाददेखि एदोमको छेउको हालाक डाँडासम्म यर्दनको पश्‍चिमपट्टि पराजित गरेका थिए । यहोशूले त्यो भूमि अधीन गर्न इस्राएलका कुलहरूलाई दिए ।

And these are the kings of the land whom Joshua and the children of Israel smote on this side the Jordan on the west, from Baal-Gad in the valley of Lebanon as far as the smooth mountain, which rises toward Seir. And Joshua gave it to the tribes of Israel for a possession according to their divisions,

8 तिनले तिनीहरूलाई हित्तीहरू, एमोरीहरू, कनानीहरू, परिज्‍जीहरू, हिव्वीहरू र यबूसीहरूको भूमि पहाडी देशहरू, तराईहरू, अराबा, पहाडका पाटाहरू र नेगेव दिए ।

in the mountain, and in the lowland, and in the plain, and on the hill-slopes, and in the wilderness, and in the south: the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites and the Jebusites:

9 राजाहरूमा यरीहोका राजा, ऐका राजा जुन बेथेलको छेउमा छ,

The king of Jericho, one; the king of Ai, which is beside Bethel, one;

10 यरूशलेमका राजा, एनइमका राजा,

the king of Jerusalem, one; the king of Hebron, one;

11 यार्मूतका राजा, लाकीशका राजा,

the king of Jarmuth, one; the king of Lachish, one;

12 एग्लोनका राजा, गेजेरका राजा,

the king of Eglon, one; the king of Gezer, one;

13 दबीरका राजा, गेदेरका राजा,

the king of Debir, one; the king of Geder, one;

14 होर्माका राजा, आरादका राजा,

the king of Hormah, one; the king of Arad, one;
