इजकिएल 26
1 यसैले यो एघारौं वर्षमा, महिनाको पहिलो दिनमा परमप्रभुको वचन यसो भनेर मकहाँ आयो,
And it came to pass in the eleventh year, on the first [day] of the month, [that] the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
2 “ए मानिसको छोरो, किनभने यरूशलेमको विरुद्धमा टुरोस सहरले 'अहा! भनेको छ ।मानिसहरूका ढोकाहरू भत्केका छन् । त्यो मतिर फेर्केको छ । म भरपूर हुनेछु, किनभने त्यो भग्नावशेष भएको छ ।'
Son of man, because Sor has said against Jerusalem, Aha, she is crushed: the nations are destroyed: she is turned to me: she that was full is made desolate:
3 यसकारण परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, ‘हेर्, ए टुरोस, म तेरो विरुद्धमा छु, र समुद्रमा छालहरू उठेझैं धेरै जातिहरूलाई तेरो विरुद्धमा म ल्याउनेछु ।
therefore thus says the Lord; Behold, I am against you, O Sor, and I will bring up many nations against you, as the sea comes up with its waves.
4 उनीहरूले टुरोसका पर्खालहरू भत्काउनेछन्, र त्यसका धरहराहरू ढाल्नेछन् । म त्यसको धूलो उडाउनेछु र त्यसलाई उजाड चट्टान बनाउनेछु ।
And they shall cast down the walls of Sor, and shall cast down your towers: and I will scrape her dust from off her, and make her a bare rock.
5 त्यो समुद्रको बिचमा जालहरू सुकाउने ठाउँ हुनेछ, किनभने मैले नै यो घोषणा गरेको छु— यो परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको घोषणा हो— र त्यो जातिहरूका निम्ति लूटको माल हुनेछ ।
She shall be in the midst of the sea a place for repairing nets: for I have spoken [it], says the Lord: and it shall be a spoil for the nations.
6 मैदानहरूमा भएका त्यसका छोरीहरू तरवारले मारिनेछन्, र तिनीहरूले म नै परमप्रभु हुँ भनी जान्नेछन् ।
And her daughters [which are] in the field shall be slain with the sword, and they shall know that I am the Lord.
7 किनकि परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छः हेर्, उत्तरबाट राजाहरूका राजा बेबिलोनको राजा नबूकदनेसरलाई घोडाहरू र रथहरू, र घोडचढीहरू र धेरै जना मानिससहित म टुरोसको विरुद्धमा ल्याउनेछु ।
For thus says the Lord; Behold, I [will] bring up against you, O Sor, Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon from the north: he is a king of kings, with horses, and chariots, and horsemen, and a concourse of very many nations.
8 त्यसले मैदानहरूमा तेरा छोरीहरूलाई मार्नेछ । त्यसले तेरो विरुद्धमा घेरा-मचान निर्माण गर्नेछ, र तेरा पर्खालहरूमा आड लाग्ने किल्ला निर्माण गर्नेछ, र तेरो विरुद्धमा ढालहरू उठाउनेछ ।
He shall kill your daughters that are in the field with the sword, and shall set a watch against you, and build forts around you, and carry a rampart round against you, and set up warlike works, and array his spears against you.
9 तेरो पर्खालमा हिर्काउनलाई त्यसले मूढाहरू राख्नेछ, र त्यसका हतियारले तेरा धरहराहरू ढाल्नेछ ।
He shall cast down with his swords your walls and your towers.
10 त्यसका घोडाहरू यति धेरै हुनेछन्, कि तिनका धूलोले तँलाई ढाक्नेछ । घोडचढीहरू, गाढाहरू र रथहरूको आवाजले तेरा पर्खालहरू हल्लिनेछन् । पर्खाल भत्केको कुनै सहरभित्र मानिसहरू पसेझैं गरी त्यो तेरा ढोकाहरूभित्र पस्छ ।
By reason of your multitude of his horses their dust shall cover you, and by reason of the sound of his horsemen and the wheels of his chariots the walls shall be shaken, when he enters into your gates, as one entering into a city from the plain.
11 त्यसका घोडाहरूका टापहरूले तेरा सबै सडकहरू कुल्चिनेछ । त्यसले तेरा मानिसहरूलाई तरवारले मार्नेछ, र तेरा बलिया खामाहरू जमिनमा ढल्नेछन् ।
With the hoofs of his horses they shall trample all your streets: he shall kill your people with the sword, and shall bring down to the ground the support of your strength.
12 उनीहरूले तेरा धन-सम्पत्तिहरू लुट्नेछन्, र तेरा व्यापारका मालहरू लुट्नेछन् । उनीहरूले तेरा पर्खालहरू ढाल्नेछन् र तेरा आरामदायी घरहरू भत्काउनेछन् । तेरा ढुङ्गा र काठपात, फोहोरलाई उनीहरूले समुद्रमा फाल्नेछन् ।
And he shall prey upon your power, and plunder your substance, and shall cast down your walls, and break down your pleasant houses: and he shall cast your stones and your timber and your dust into the midst of your sea.
13 तेरो गीतको हल्ला म बन्द गर्नेछु । तेरा वीणाहरूका आवाज फेरि कहिल्यै सुनिनेछैन ।
And he shall destroy the multitude of your musicians, and the sound of your lutes shall be heard no more.
14 म तँलाई उजाड चट्टान बनाउनेछु । तँ जालहरू सुकाउने ठाउँ बन्नेछस् । फेरि कहिल्यै तँलाई बनाइनेछैन, किनकि म परमप्रभु परमेश्वर नै बोलेको हुँ— यो परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको घोषणा हो ।
And I will make you a bare rock: you shall be a place to spread nets upon; you shall be built no more: for I the Lord have spoken [it], says the Lord.
15 परमप्रभु परमेश्वर टुरोस सहरलाई यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, 'जब तेरो बिचमा डरलाग्दो मारकाट हुन्छ, तब ढलेहरूका सोर र घाइतेहरूले सुस्केराले के टापुहरू काम्नेछैनन् र?
For thus says the Lord God to Sor; Shall not the isles shake at the sound of your fall, while the wounded are groaning, while they have drawn a sword in the midst of you?
16 तब समुद्र किनारका सबै जना शासक आ-आफ्ना सिंहासनबाट ओर्लनेछन् र आ-आफ्नो पोशाक उतार्नेछन्, र बुट्टा भरिएका वस्त्रहरू फुकाल्नेछन् । तिनीहरूले आफैंमा कम्पका पोशाक लगाउनेछन्, तिनीहरू भूइँमा बस्नेछन्, र हरेक क्षण काम्नेछन्, र तँलाई देखेर तिनीहरू भयभीत हुनेछन् ।
And all the princes of the nations of the sea shall come down from their thrones, and shall take off their crowns from their heads, and shall take off their embroidered raiment: they shall be utterly amazed; they shall sit upon the ground, and fear their [own] destruction, and shall groan over you.
17 तिनीहरूले तेरो विषयमा विलाप गर्नेछन् र तँलाई यसो भन्नेछन्: नाविकहरू बसोबास गर्ने, तँ कसरी नष्ट भइस् । शक्तिशाली र प्रसिद्ध सहर अब समुद्रबाट हराएको छ । त्यसका बासिन्दाहरूले आफ्ना नजिक बस्ने हरेकलाई कुनै बेला थर्कमान् पारेका थिए ।
And they shall take up a lamentation for you, and shall say to you, How are you destroyed from out of the sea, the renowned city, that brought her terror upon all her inhabitants.
18 अब तेरो पतनको दिनमा समुद्र-किनारका देशहरू काम्छन् । तँ आफ्नो ठाउँमा नभए हुनाले टापूहरू त्रासमा परेका छन् ।'
And the isles shall be alarmed at the day of your fall.
19 किनकि परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छः जब मानिसहरू बसोबास नगरेको अरू सहरझैं म तँलाई एउटा उजाडिएको सहर तुल्याउँछु, र जब म गहिरो सागरलाई तेरो विरुद्ध उठाउनेछु, र जब ठुला छालहरूले तँलाई ढाक्छन्,
For thus says the Lord God; When I shall make the city desolate, as the cities that shall not be inhabited, when I have brought the deep up upon you,
20 तब म तँलाई प्राचिन समयका मानिसहरूकहाँ ल्याउनेछु, अरू मानिसहरूझैं जो खाल्डोमा गएका छन् । किनभने म तँलाई पृथ्वीमुनि, प्राचीन भग्नावशेषमा जस्तै, मृत-लोकमा जानेहरूसित बस्न लाउनेछु । जसको कारण तँ फेरि कहिल्यै जीवितहरूको देशमा फर्केर बस्नेछैनस् ।
and great waters shall cover you; and I shall bring you down to them that go down to the pit, to the people of old time, and shall cause you to dwell in the depths of the earth, as in everlasting desolation, with them that go down to the pit, that you may not be inhabited, nor stand upon the land of life;
21 तँमाथि म विपति ल्याउनेछु, र सधैंको निम्ति तँ फेरि कहिलै हुनेछैनस् । तब तेरो खोजी हुनेछ तर तँलाई फेरि कहिलै भेट्टाइनेछैन— यो परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको घोषणा हो ।”
I will make you a destruction, and you shall be no more for ever, says the Lord God.
