इजकिएल 16
1 तब परमप्रभुको वचन यसो भनेर मकहाँ आयो,
And the word of the Lord was maad to me,
2 “ए मानिसको छोरो, यरूशलेमलाई त्यसका घिनलाग्दा कामहरूका बारेमा जानकारी दे,
and he seide, Sone of man, make thou knowun to Jerusalem her abhomynaciouns; and thou schalt seie,
3 र घोषणा भन्, 'यरूशलेमलाई परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छः तेरो सुरु र तेरो जन्म कनानहरूको देशमा भएको हो । तेरो बुबा एक एमोरी थियो, र तेरी आमाचाहिं हित्ती थिई ।
The Lord God seith these thingis. A! thou Jerusalem, thi rote and thi generacioun is of the lond of Canaan; thi fadir is Amorrei, and thi moder is Cetei.
4 जन्मँदा तेरी आमाले तेरो नाभि काटिन, न त त्यसले तँलाई सफा गर्नलाई पानीले नुहाइदिई वा तेरो शरीर नुनले दली, वा तँलाई लुगाले बेह्री ।
And whanne thou were borun, thi nawle was not kit awei in the dai of thi birthe, and thou were not waischun in watir in to helthe, nethir saltid with salt, nether wlappid in clothis.
5 तँप्रति दयालु भएर तेरो निम्ति यी कुरामध्ये कुनै गर्न कोही मानिसका आँखामा दया थिएन । तँ जन्मेको दिनमा तेरो जीवनलाई घृणा गरेर तँलाई बाहिर मैदानमा फालियो ।
An iye sparide not on thee, that it hauynge merci on thee, dide to thee oon of these thingis; but thou were cast forth on the face of erthe, in the castynge out of thi soule, in the dai in which thou were borun.
6 तर म तेरो छेउबाट गएँ, र मैले तँलाई तेरो आफ्नै रगतमा लट्पटिरहेको देखें । यसैले तेरो रगतमा मैले तँलाई भनें, “बाँच् ।” तेरो रगतमा मैले तँलाई भनें, “बाँच् ।”
Forsothe Y passide bi thee, and Y siy thee defoulid in thi blood; and Y seide to thee, whanne thou were in thi blood, Lyue thou; sotheli Y seide to thee in thi blood, Lyue thou.
7 मैले तँलाई मैदानको बोटजस्तै बढ्न लगाएँ । तँ बढिस् र ठुलो भइस्, र गहनाहरूको गहना भइस् । तँ नाङ्गो र वस्त्रहीन भए तापनि तेरा स्तनहरू कडा भए, र तेरो कपाल बक्लो भयो ।
Y yaf thee multiplied as the seed of a feeld, and thou were multiplied, and maad greet; and thou entridist, and camest fulli to wymmens ournyng; thi tetis wexiden greet, and thin heer wexide; and thou were nakid, and ful of schenschipe.
8 म फेरि तेरो छेउबाट गएँ र मैले तँलाई देखें । हेर्, तेरो निम्ति प्रेम गर्ने समय आयो । यसैले मैले मेरो वस्त्रको छेउ तँमाथि ओढाएँ र तेरो नग्नता ढाकिदिएँ । तब मैले तँसित बाचा बाँधें र तँलाई करारमा ल्याएँ र तँ मेरो भइस्, यो परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको घोषणा हो ।
And Y passide bi thee, and Y siy thee, and lo! thi tyme, the tyme of louyeris; and Y spredde abrood my clothing on thee, and Y hilide thi schenschipe. And Y swoor to thee, and Y made a couenaunt with thee, seith the Lord God, and thou were maad a wijf to me.
9 यसैले मैले तँलाई पानीले नुहाए र तेरो रगत तँबाट मिचेर धोइदिएँ, र तेलले तेरो अभिषेक गरें ।
And Y waischide thee in water, and Y clenside awei thi blood fro thee, and Y anoyntide thee with oile.
10 तँलाई बुट्टादार वस्त्र पहिराएँ, र तेरो खुट्टामा छालाका जुत्ता लगाएँ । मैले तँलाई मलमलको कपडामा बेह्रें, र रेशमी लुगाले तँलाई ढाकें ।
And Y clothide thee with clothis of dyuerse colours, and Y schodde thee in iacynct, and Y girde thee with biys;
11 त्यसपछि मैले तँलाई गरगहनाले आभूषित गरें, तेरा हातमा चुरा लगाएँ, र तेरो गलामा सिक्री पहिराएँ ।
and Y clothide thee with sutil thingis, and Y ournede thee with ournement.
12 मैले तेरो नाकमा नत्थ लगाएँ र कानमा लुर्का लगाएँ, तेरो शिरमा सुन्दर मुकुट पहिराएँ ।
And Y yaf bies in thin hondis, and a wrethe aboute thi necke; and Y yaf a ryng on thi mouth, and cerclis to thin eeris, and a coroun of fairnesse in thin heed.
13 यसरी तँ सुन र चाँदीले आभूषित भइस्, र तैंले मलमल र रेशमी र बुट्टादार कपडा लगाइस् । तैंले मसिनो पीठो, मह र भद्राक्षको तेल खाइस्, र तँ अत्यन्तै सुन्दरी थिइस्, र तँ रानी भइस् ।
And thou were ourned with gold and siluer, and thou were clothid with biys and ray cloth with rounde ymagis, and many colours. Thou etist cleene flour of wheete, and hony, and oile, and thou were maad fair ful greetli; and thou encreessidist in to a rewme,
14 तेरो सौन्दर्यको कारणले तेरो ख्याति जातिहरूका बिचमा फैलियो, किनभने मैले तँलाई दिएको गौरवको कारण तेरो सौन्दर्य सिद्ध थियो—यो परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको घोषणा हो ।
and thi name yede out in to hethene men for thi fairnesse; for thou were perfit in my fairnesse which Y hadde sett on thee, seith the Lord God.
15 तर तेरो आफ्नो सौन्दर्यमा तैंले भरोसा राखिस् र तेरो ख्यातिको कारणले तैंले एक वेश्याले झैं काम गरिस् । छेउबाट जाने जोसुकैलाई पनि तैंले वेश्याले झैं आफ्नो काम तैंले गरिस्, ताकि तेरो सौन्दर्य उसको भयो ।
And thou haddist trist in thi fairnesse, and didist fornicacioun in thi name; and thou settidist forth thi fornicacioun to ech that passide forth, that thou schuldist be maad his.
16 तब आफ्ना केही वस्त्र लिएर तैंले राम्ररी सिङ्गारिएका डाँडाका थानहरू बनाइस्, र त्यहीं नै तैंले वेश्याले झैं व्यवहार गरिस् । यस्तो नहुनुपर्थ्यो । न त यस्तो कुराको अस्तित्वमा हुनुपर्थ्यो ।
And thou tokist of my clothis, and madist to thee hiy thingis set aboute on ech side; and thou didist fornycacioun on tho, as it was not don, nether schal be don.
17 मैले तँलाई दिएको सुन र चाँदीका गहना तैंले लिइस् र तैंले आफ्नो निम्ति पुरुष-मूर्तिहरू बनाइस् र तीसित तैंले वेश्याले झैं काम गरिस् ।
And thou tokist the vessels of thi fairnesse, of my gold and of my siluer, which Y yaf to thee; and thou madist to thee ymagis of men, and didist fornycacioun in tho.
18 तैंले आफ्ना बुट्टादार कपडाहरू लिइस् र तिनीहरूलाई ढाकिस् र मेरो तेल र अत्तर तैंले तिनीहरूका अगि चढाइस् ।
And thou tokist thi clothis of many colours, and thou were clothid in tho; and thou settidist myn oile and myn encence in the siyt of tho.
19 मसिनो पीठो, तेल र महले बनेको मेरो रोटी मैले तँलाई दिएँ— सुगन्धित बास्ना हुनलाई तैंले ती तिनीहरूका अगि चढाइस् किनकी यस्तै भएको छ— यो परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको घोषणा हो ।
And thou settidist my breed, which Y yaf to thee, flour of wheete, and oile, and hony, bi whiche Y nurschide thee, in the siyt of tho, in to odour of swetnesse; and it was don, seith the Lord God.
20 अनि तैंले मेरो निम्ति जन्माएका तेरो छोराछोरीलाई तैंले लइस् र मूर्तिहरूका लागि खानेकुराको रूपमा तैंले तिनीहरूको बलि चढाइस् । के तेरा वेश्यावृत्तिका कामहरू साना कुराहरू हुन्?
And thou tokist thi sones and thi douytris, whiche thou gendridist to me, and offridist to tho, for to be deuourid. Whether thi fornicacioun is litil?
21 तैंले मेरा छोराछोरीलाई मूर्तिहरूका निम्ति मारिस् र तिनीहरूलाई आगोमा हिंड्न लगाइस् ।
Thou offridist my sones, and yauest hem, and halewidist to tho.
22 तेरा यी सबै घृणित काम र वेश्यावृत्तिमा तैंले आफ्नो युवावस्थाका दिनहरू सम्झेको छैनस्, जति बेला तँ नाङ्गो, वस्त्रहीन र भएर आफ्नो रगतमा लट्पटिएकी थिइस् ।
And aftir alle thin abhomynaciouns and fornicaciouns, thou bithouytist not on the daies of thi yong wexynge age, whanne thou were nakid, and ful of schenschipe, and were defoulid in thi blood.
23 धिक्कार! तँलाई धिक्कार!— यो परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको घोषणा हो— यसकारण, यी सबै दुष्टताका साथै
And after al thi malice, wo, wo bifelle to thee, seith the Lord God.
24 तँ आफैंले हरेक सर्वजनिक ठाउँमा गुमज पुजाकोठा बनाइस् ।
And thou bildidist to thee a bordel hous, and madist to thee a place of hordom in alle stretis.
25 हरेक चोकमा आफ्नो निम्ति एउटा अल्गो देवता-थान बनाइस् र तैंले आफ्नो सुन्दताको अपमान गरिस्, अनि त्यहाँबाट जाने सबैलाई आफ्ना खुट्टाहरू फैलाइस् र तैंले आफ्नो वेश्यावृत्तिका कामहरू बढाइस् ।
At ech heed of the weie thou bildidist a signe of thin hordom, and madist thi fairnesse abhomynable; and thou departidist thi feet to ech man passynge forth, and multepliedist thi fornicaciouns.
26 यौनले उन्मत्त तेरो मिश्रदेशका छिमेकीहरूसित पनि तैंले वेश्यावृत्ति गरेको छस्, र वेश्यावृत्तिका तेरा अरू धेरै कामले मलाई रिस उठाइस् ।
And thou didist fornicacioun with the sones of Egipt, thi neiyboris of grete fleischis, and thou multepliedist thi fornicacioun, to terre me to wraththe.
27 हेर्, म आफ्नै हातले तँलाई हिर्काउनेछु र तेरो रोटी बन्द गर्नेछु । तेरो जीवन म तेरा शत्रुहरू, पलिश्तीहरूका छोरीहरूका हातमा सुम्पिदिनेछु जो तेरा घिनलाग्दा व्यवहार देखेर लज्जित भएका थिए ।
Lo! Y schal stretch forth myn hond on thee, and Y schal take awei thi iustifiyng; and Y schal yyue thee in to the soulis of hem that haten thee, of the douytris of Palestyns, that ben aschamed in thi weie ful of greet trespas.
28 तैंले अश्शूरीहरूसित पनि वेश्यावृत्ति गरिस्, किनभने तँ तृप्त हुन सकिनस् । तैंले वेश्याले झैं काम गरिस् र पनि तँ सन्तुष्ट भइनस् ।
And thou didist fornicacioun with the sones of Assiriens, for thou were not fillid yit; and after that thou didist fornicacioun, nether so thou were fillid.
29 कल्दीका व्यापारीहरूका देशमा पनि तैंले धैरै वेश्यावृत्तिका कामहरू गरिस्, र यसले पनि तँलाई सन्तुष्ट बनाएन ।
And thou multipliedist thi fornycacioun in the lond of Canaan with Caldeis, and nether so thou were fillid.
30 तेरो हृदय कति बिरामी छ— यो परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको घोषणा हो— कि एक निर्लज्ज वेश्याका कामहरू जस्ता यी सबै कुराहरू तैंले गरिस्?
In what thing schal Y clense thin herte, seith the Lord God, whanne thou doist alle these werkis of a womman an hoore, and gredi axere?
31 हरेक गल्लीको मोडमा आफ्नो डाँडाका थानहरू र हरेक सार्वजनिक ठाउँमा तैंले गुमज पुजाकोठा बनाइस् । तापनि तँ वेश्याजस्तो थिइनस्, किनभने ज्याला लिन तैंले इन्कार गरिस् ।
For thou madist thi bordel hous in `the heed of ech weie, and thou madist thin hiy place in ech street; and thou were not maad as an hoore ful of anoiyng,
32 तँ व्यभिचारी स्त्री, तँ आफ्नो पतिको सट्टामा बिरानाहरूलाई स्वीकार गर्छेस् ।
encreessynge prijs, but as a womman auowtresse, that bryngith in aliens on hir hosebonde.
33 मानिसहरूले त हरेक वेश्यालाई ज्याला दिन्छन्, तर तैंले चाहिं उल्टो आफ्ना सबै प्रेमीलाई ज्याला दिन्छेस् र तँसित वेश्यवृति गर्न चारैतिरबाट तिनीहरू तँकहाँ आऊन् भनेर घुस दिन्छेस् ।
Hiris ben youun to alle hooris, but thou hast youe hire to alle thi louyeris; and thou yauest to hem, that thei schulden entre to thee on ech side, to do fornycacioun with thee.
34 यसैले तँ र अरू स्त्रीहरूमा फरक छ । किनकि आफूसँग सुत भन्न कोही पनि तँकहाँ आउँदैन । बरु, तैंले तिनीहरूलाई ज्याला दिन्छेस् । कसैले पनि तँलाई ज्याला दिंदैन ।
And it was don in thee ayens the custom of wymmen in thi fornycaciouns, and fornicacioun schal not be after thee; for in that that thou yauest hiris, and tokist not hiris, the contrarie was don in thee.
35 यसकारण ए वेश्या, परमप्रभुको वचन सुन् ।
Therfor, thou hoore, here the word of the Lord.
36 परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छः तैंले आफ्ना यौनको उत्तेजना पोखेको छस् र आफ्ना प्रेमीहरूसँगको तेरो वेश्यावृत्तिद्वारा आफ्नो नग्नता देखाएको छस्, र तेरा सबै घिनलाग्दा मूर्तिहरू बनाएको छस्, र तिनीहरूलाई तैंले आफ्ना छोराछोरीका रगत चढाएको छस्,
The Lord God seith these thingis, For thi riches is sched out, and thi schenschipe is schewid in thi fornicaciouns on thi louyeris, and on the idols of thin abhomynaciouns, in the blood of thi sones, whiche thou yauest to hem; lo!
37 यसकारण हेर्, तैंले भेटेका सबै प्रेमीहरूलाई म भेला गर्नेछु, तैंले प्रेम गरेका सबै प्रेमीहरू र तैंले घृणा गरेका सबैलाई म भेला गर्नेछु, र तिनीहरूलाई म तेरा विरुद्धमा तेरो चारैतिर जम्मा गर्नेछु । तिनीहरूले तेरो नग्नता देखून् भनेर म तेरो नग्नता उघारिदिनेछु ।
Y schal gadere to gidere alle thi louyeris, with whiche thou were meddlid, and alle men whiche thou louedist, with alle men whiche thou hatidist; and Y schal gadere hem on thee on ech side, and Y schal make nakid thi schenschipe bifore hem, and thei schulen se al thi filthe.
38 किनकि व्यभिचार र रगतको बगाएको निम्ति म तँलाई दण्ड दिनेछु । अनि मेरो क्रोध र डाहको रक्तपात तँमाथि म ल्याउनेछु ।
And Y schal deme thee bi the domes of auoutressis, and schedinge out blood;
39 तँलाई तिनीहरूका हातमा म सुम्पिदिनेछु, यसरी तिनीहरूले तेरा गुमज पुजाकोठा भत्काउनेछन् र डाँडाका थानहरू ढाल्नेछन् र तिनीहरूले तेरा वस्त्रहरू फुकाएर तँलाई नाङ्गो पार्नेछन् र तेरा सबै गरगहना लैजानेछन् । तिनीहरूले तँलाई नाङ्गो र उजाड छोडिदिनेछन् ।
and Y schal yyue thee in to the blood of strong veniaunce, and of feruour. And Y schal yyue thee in to the hondis of hem, and thei schulen destrie thi bordel hous, and thei schulen destrie the place of thin hordom; and thei schulen make thee nakid of thi clothis, and thei schulen take awei the vessels of thi fairnesse, and thei schulen forsake thee nakid, and ful of schenschipe.
40 तब तिनीहरूले तेरो विरुद्धमा एउटा भीड ल्याउनेछन्, र तँलई ढुङ्गाले हान्नेछन्, र तिनीहरूले तँलाई आफ्ना तरवारहरूले टुक्रै-टुक्रा पार्नेछन् ।
And thei schulen bringe on thee a multitude, and thei schulen stoon thee with stoonys, and thei schulen sle thee with her swerdis.
41 तिनीहरूले तेरा घरहरू जलाउनेछन्, र धेरै जना स्त्रीले देख्ने गरी तँलाई धेरै किसिमका दण्ड दिनेछन्, किनकि म तेरो वेश्यावृत्ति रोक्नेछु, र तैंले आफ्ना प्रेमीहरूलाई फेरि ज्याला दिनेछैनस् ।
And thei schulen brenne thin housis with fier, and thei schulen make domes in thee, bifor the iyen of ful many wymmen; and thou schalt ceese to do fornicacioun, and thou schalt no more yyue hiris.
42 तब तेरो विरुद्धमा भएको मेरो क्रोध म शान्त पार्नेछु । मेरो रिसले तँलाई छोड्नेछ किनकि म सन्तुष्ट हुनेछु, र पेरि कहिलै रिसाउनेछैनँ ।
And myn indignacioun schal reste in thee, and my feruent loue schal be takun awei fro thee; and Y schal reste, and Y schal no more be wrooth,
43 तैंले आफ्नो युवावस्थाका दिनलाई सम्झेको छैनस्, र यी सबै कुराले मलाई रिसले थरथर काम्ने बनाएको छस् । यसैकारण हेर्, तैंले गरेका कामको दण्ड म आफैं तेरो आफ्नै शिरमा खन्याइदिनेछु, यो परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको घोषणा हो । के तेरा अरू सबै घिनलाग्दा व्यवहारहरूमा वेश्यवृति पनि थपेको छैनस् र?
for thou haddist not mynde on the daies of thi yong wexynge age, and thou terridist me to ire in alle these thingis. Wherfor and Y yaf thi weies in thin heed, seith the Lord God, and Y dide not aftir thi grete trespassis, in alle these thin abhomynaciouns.
44 हेर्, उखान भन्ने हरेकले तेरो विषयमा यो उखान भन्नेछः “जस्तो आमा उस्तै छोरी ।”
Lo! ech man that seith a prouerbe comynli, schal take it in thee,
45 तँ आफ्नी आमाकी छोरी होस्, जसले आफ्नै पति र छोराछोरीलाई घृणा गरी, अनि आफ्नी दिदीहरूकी बहिनी होस् जसले आफ्नै पति र छोराछोरीलाई घृणा गरे । तेरी आमा हित्ती थिई, र तेरा बुबा एमोरी थियो ।
and schal seie, As the modir, so and the douytir of hir. Thou art the douyter of thi modir, that castide awey hir hosebonde and hir sones; and thou art the sister of thi sistris, that castiden a wei her hosebondis and her sones. Thi modir is Cetei, and thi fadir is Ammorrei;
46 तेरी दिदी सामरिया थिई र त्यसका छोरीहरू उत्तरमा बस्थे, तेरी बहिनीचाहिं तेरो दक्षिणपट्टि बस्थी, अर्थात् सदोम र त्यसका छोरीहरू थिए ।
and thi gretter sister is Samarie, sche and hir douytris, that dwellen at thi left side; but thi sistir lesse than thou, that dwellith at thi riyt side, is Sodom, and hir douytris.
47 तँ तिनीहरूका चालमा मात्र चलिनस् र तिनीहरूका घिनलाग्दा व्यवहारहरू र अभ्यासहरू मात्र नक्कल गरिनस् तर तेरा सबै चालमा तँ तिनीहरूभन्दा झन् भ्रष्ट भएको छस् ।
But thou yedist not in the weies of hem, nethir thou didist aftir the grete trespassis of hem; hast thou do almest a litil lesse cursidere dedis than thei, in alle thi weies?
48 जस्तो म जीवित छु, यो परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको घोषणा हो, तँ र तेरा छोरीहरूले जति धेरै दुष्टता गरेका छौ त्यति तेरी बहिनी सदोम र त्यसका छोरीहरूले गरेनन् ।
Y lyue, seith the Lord God, for Sodom, thi sister, did not, sche and hir douytris, as thou didist, and thi douytris.
49 हेर्, तेरी बहिनी सदोमको पापचाहिं यो थियो, त्यो आफ्नो फुर्सदमा अहंकारी थिई, साथै लापरवाह र कुनै कुराको चिन्ता नगर्ने थई । त्यसले दरिद्र र खाँचोमा परेका मानिसहरूका हातहरू बलियो पारिन ।
Lo! this was the wickidnesse of Sodom, thi sister, pride, fulnesse of breed, and habundaunce, and idilnesse of hir, and of hir douytris; and thei puttiden not hond to a nedi man and pore.
50 त्यो अहंकारी थिई र मेरो सामु घिनलाग्दा काम गरी, यसैले मैले तिनीहरूलाई उठाएँ, जसरी तैंले देखिस् ।
And thei weren enhaunsid, and diden other abhominaciouns bifore me; and Y took hem awei, as thou hast seyn.
51 सामरियाले पनि तैंले गरेका पापहारूका आधा पनि गरेन । त्यसको साटोमा, तिनीहरूले गरेको भन्दा ज्यादै धेरै घिनलाग्दा काम तैंले गरिस्, र तैंले गरेका यी सबै घिनलाग्दा कामका कारणले तेरा दिदी-बहिनी तँभन्दा असल थिए भनी तैंले देखाइस् ।
And Samarie synnede not the half of thi synnes, but thou hast ouercome hem in thi grete trespassis; and thou hast iustified thi sistris in alle thin abhomynaciouns, whiche thou wrouytist.
52 विशेषगरी तैंले आफ्नो निर्लज्जता देखाउँछेस् । यसरी तैंले गरेका यी सबै घिनलाग्दा पापहरूका कारणले तेरा दिदीबहिनी तँभन्दा असल थिए भन्ने तैंले देखाइस् । तेरा दिदीबहिनी अब तँभन्दा असल देखिन्छन् । विशेषगरी तैंले आफ्नै निर्लज्जता देखाउँछेस्, किनकि यसरी तेरा दिदीबहिनी तँभन्दा असल थिए भनी तैंले देखाइस् ।
Therfor and thou bere thi schenschipe, that hast ouercome thi sistris with thi synnes, and didist more cursidli than thei; for thei ben iustified of thee. Therfor and be thou schent, and bere thi schenschipe, which hast iustified thi sistris.
53 किनकि म तिनीहरूका सुदिन— सदोम र त्यसका छोरीहरूका सुदिन र सामरिया र त्यसका छोरीहरूका सुदिन फर्काइदिनेछु । तर तेरो सुदिन तिनीहरूकै बिचमा हुनेछ ।
And Y schal conuerte and restore hem by the conuersioun of Sodom with hir douytris, and bi the conuersioun of Samarie and of hir douytris; and Y schal conuerte thi turnyng ayen in the myddis of hem,
54 यी कुराहरूका कारणले तैंले आफ्ना लाज देखाउनेछस् । तैंले गरेका हरेक कुराको कारणले तेरो अपमान हुनेछ, र यसरी तिनीहरूका निम्ति तँचाहिं सान्त्वना हुनेछस् ।
that thou bere thi schenschipe, and be aschamed in alle thingis whiche thou didist, coumfortynge hem.
55 तेरी बहिनी सदोम र त्यसका छोरीहरू पहिलेको अवस्थामा फर्किनेछन्, र सामरिया र त्यसका छोरीहरू आफ्नो पहिलेको अवस्थामा फर्किनेछन् । त्यसपछि तँ र तेरा छोरीहरू आफ्नो पहिलेको अवस्थामा फर्किनेछौ ।
And thi sister Sodom and hir doytris schulen turne ayen to her eldnesse; and Samarie and hir douytris shulen turne ayen to her eeldnesse; and thou and thi douytris turne ayen to youre eldnesse.
56 तँ अहङ्कारी भएको दिनमा पनि तेरो मुखले तेरी बहिनी सदोमको सम्झना गरिनस्,
Forsothe Sodom, thi sister, was not herd in thi mouth, in the dai of thi pride,
57 तेरो दुष्टता प्रकट हुनुअघि । तर अहिले तँ एदोमका छोरीहरू र त्यसका वरिपरिका पलिश्तीहरूका छोरीहरूका बिचमा गिल्लाको पात्र बनेको छस् । मानिसहरूले तँलाई घृणा गर्छन् ।
bifore that thi malice was schewid, as in this tyme, in to schenschipe of the douytris of Sirie, and of alle douytris in thi cumpas, of the douytris of Palestyn that ben aboute thee bi cumpas.
58 तैंले आफ्नो निर्लज्जता र घृणित व्यवहार देखाउनेछस्— यो परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको घोषणा हो ।
Thou hast bore thi greet trespas, and thi schenschipe, seith the Lord God.
59 परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छः तँलाई जस्तो व्यवहार गर्नु उचित हुन्छ त्यस्तै व्यवहार म तँसित गर्नेछु । तैंले करार भङ्ग गरेर आफ्नो सपथलाई तुच्छ ठानेकी छस् ।
For the Lord God seith these thingis, And Y schal do to thee as thou dispisidist the ooth, that thou schuldist make voide the couenaunt;
60 तर तेरो जवानीको दिनमा मैले तँसित बाँधेको करारलाई म सम्झनेछु, र तँसँग म सदासर्वदाको करार गर्नेछु ।
and Y schal haue mynde on my couenaunt with thee in the daies of thi yongthe, and Y schal reise to thee a couenaunt euerlastynge.
61 तब तैंले आफ्ना चालहरू सम्झनेछस् र दिदी-बहिनीहरू दुवैलाई तैंले ग्रहण गर्दा लज्जित हुनेछस् । ती म तँलाई छोरीहरूका रूपमा दिनेछु, तर तेरो करारको कारणले चाहिं होइन ।
And thou schalt haue mynde on thi weies, and schalt be aschamed, whanne thou schalt resseyue thi sistris grettere than thou, with thi lesse sistris; and Y schal yyue hem in to douytris to thee, but not of thi couenaunt.
62 म आफैं मेरो करार तँसित स्थापना गर्नेछु, र म नै परमप्रभु हुँ भनी तैंले जान्नेछस् ।
And Y schal reise my couenaunt with thee, and thou schalt wite, that Y am the Lord, that thou haue mynde, and be aschamed;
63 यी कुराहरूका कारणले, तैंले सबै कुरा सम्झनेछस्, र लज्जित हुनेछस्, यसरी आफ्नो लाजको कारण तैंले आफ्नो मुख फेरि कहिल्यै खोल्नेछैनस् । त्यति बेला तैंले गरेका सबै कुरालाई मैले क्षमा गरेको हुन्छु — यो परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको घोषणा हो ।
and that it be no more to thee to opene the mouth for thi schame, whanne Y schal be plesid to thee in alle thingis whiche thou didist, seith the Lord God.
