1 लेवीका छोराहरू गेर्शोन, कहात र मरारी थिए ।

The sons of Levi: Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.

2 कहातका छोराहरू अम्राम, यिसहार, हेब्रोन र उज्‍जीएल थिए ।

The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.

3 अम्रामका छोराछोरी हारून, मोशा र मिरियम थिए । हारूनका छोराहरू नादाब, अबीहू, एलाजार र ईतामार थिए ।

The sons of Amram: Aaron, Moses, and Miriam. The sons of Aaron: Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

4 एलाजार पीनहासका पिता भए, र पीनहास अबीशूका पिता भए ।

Eleazar conceived Phinehas, and Phinehas conceived Abishua.

5 अबीशू बुक्‍कीका पिता भए, बुक्‍की उज्‍जीका पिता भए ।

Truly, Abishua conceived Bukki, and Bukki conceived Uzzi.

6 उज्‍जी जरयाहका पिता भए, जरयाह मरायोतका पिता भए ।

Uzzi conceived Zerahiah, and Zerahiah conceived Meraioth.

7 मरायोत अमर्याहका पिता भए, र अमर्याह अहीतूबका पिता भए ।

Then Meraioth conceived Amariah, and Amariah conceived Ahitub.

8 अहीतूब सादोकका पिता भए, र सादोक अहीमासका पिता भए ।

Ahitub conceived Zadok, and Zadok conceived Ahimaaz.

9 अहीमास अजर्याहका पिता भए, र अजर्याह योहानानका पिता भए ।

Ahimaaz conceived Azariah; Azariah conceived Johanan.

10 योहानान अजर्याहका पिता भए, जसले यरूशलेममा सोलोमनले बनाएको परमप्रभुको मन्‍दिरमा सेवा गरे ।

Johanan conceived Azariah. He is the one who executed the priestly office in the house that Solomon built in Jerusalem.

11 अजर्याह अमर्याहका पिता भए, र अमर्याह अहीतूबका पिता भए ।

Now Azariah conceived Amariah, and Amariah conceived Ahitub.

12 अहीतूब सादोकका पिता भए, र सादोक शल्‍लूमका पिता भए ।

Ahitub conceived Zadok, and Zadok conceived Shallum.

13 शल्‍लूम हिल्‍कियाहका पिता भए, र हिल्‍कियाह अजर्याहका पिता भए ।

Shallum conceived Hilkiah, and Hilkiah conceived Azariah.

14 अजर्याह सरायाहका पिता भए, र सरायाह यहोसादाकका पिता भए ।

Azariah conceived Seraiah, and Seraiah conceived Jehozadak.

15 परमप्रभुले यहूदा र यरूशलेमलाई नबूकदनेसरको हातबाट निर्वासनमा लैजाँदा यहोसादाक पनि कैदमा लगिए ।

Now Jehozadak departed, when the Lord took away Judah and Jerusalem, by the hands of Nebuchadnezzar.

16 लेवीका छोराहरू गेर्शोन, कहात र मरारी थिए ।

So the sons of Levi were Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.

17 गेर्शोनका छोराहरू लिब्‍नी र शिमी थिए ।

And these are the names of the sons of Gershom: Libni and Shimei.

18 कहातका छोराहरू अम्राम, यिसहार, हेब्रोन र उज्‍जीएल थिए ।

The sons of Kohath: Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.

19 मरारीका छोराहरू महली र मूशी थिए । आ-आफ्‍ना पुर्खाअनुसार लेखिएका लेवीका वंशहरू यी नै हुन्‌ ।

The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. And so these are the kindred of Levi, according to their families.

20 गेर्शोनका सन्‍तानहरू: तिनका छोरा लिब्‍नी थिए । लिब्‍नीका छोरा येहाथ तिए । तिनका छोरा जिम्‍माह थिए ।

Of Gershom: Libni his son, Jahath his son, Zimmah his son,

21 तिनका छोरा योआ थिए । तिनका छोरा इद्दो थिए । तिनका छोरा जेरह तिए । तिनका छोरा यातरै थिए ।

Joah his son, Iddo his son, Zerah his son, Jeatherai his son.

22 कहातका सन्‍तानहरूः तिनका छोरा अम्‍मीनादाब थिए । तिनका छोरा कोरह थिए । तिनका छोरा अस्‍सीर थिए ।

The sons of Kohath: Amminadab his son, Korah his son, Assir his son,

23 तिनका छोरा एल्‍काना थिए । तिनका छोरा एब्‍यासाप थिए । तिनका छोरा अस्‍सीर थिए ।

Elkanah his son, Ebiasaph his son, Assir his son,

24 तिनका छोरा तहत थिए । तिनका छोरा उरीएल थिए । तिनका छोरा उज्‍जियाह थिए । तिनका छोरा शौल थिए ।

Tahath his son, Uriel his son, Uzziah his son, Shaul his son.

25 एल्‍कानाका छोराहरू अमासै, अहीमोत,

The sons of Elkanah: Amasai and Ahimoth

26 अनि एल्‍काना नाउँको एक जना छोरा, तिनका छोरा सोफै, तिनका छोरा नहत,

and Elkanah. The sons of Elkanah: Zophai his son, Nahath his son,

27 तिनका छोरा एलीआब, तिनका छोरा यरोहाम, तिनका छोरा एल्‍काना थिए ।

Eliab his son, Jeroham his son, Elkanah his son.

28 शमूएलका छोराहरू जेठा योएल र कान्‍छा अबिया थिए ।

The sons of Samuel: Vasseni the firstborn, and Abijah.

29 मरारीका छोरा महली थिए । तिनका छोरा लिब्‍नी थिए । तिनका छोरा शिमी थिए । तिनका छोरा उज्‍जाह थिए ।

Now the sons of Merari were: Mahli, Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzzah his son,

30 तिनका छोरा शिमेअ थिए । तिनका छोरा हग्‍गियाह थिए । तिनका छोरा असायाह थिए ।

Shimea his son, Haggiah his son, Asaiah his son.

31 सन्‍दूक परमप्रभुको मन्‍दिरमा राखेपछि सङ्गीतको जिम्‍मा लिनलाई दाऊदले नियुक्त गरेका मानिसहरू यी नै हुन्‌ ।

These are the ones whom David appointed over the singing men in the house of the Lord, in the place where the ark was located.

32 सोलोमनले यरूशलेममा परमप्रभुको मन्‍दिर नबनाएसम्‍म पवित्र वासस्‍थान, अर्थात्‌ भेट हुने पालको सामु तिनीहरूले सङ्गीत गाएर सेवा गरे । तिनीहरूलाई दिइएको निर्देशनहरू अनुसार तिनीहरूले आफ्नो कर्तव्य निर्वाह गरे ।

And they ministered before the tabernacle of the testimony with singing, until Solomon built the house of the Lord in Jerusalem. And they would stand according to their order in the ministry.

33 आ-आफ्‍ना छोराहरूसँग सेवा गर्नेहरू यी नै थिए । कहातीहरूबाट सङ्गीतकार हेमान आए । तिनका पुर्खा यी नै थिएः हेमान योएलका छोरा थिए । योएल शमूएलका छोरा थिए ।

Truly, these are the ones who were assisting, with their sons, from the sons of Kohath: the singer Heman, the son of Joel, the son of Samuel,

34 शमूएल एल्‍कानाका छोरा थिए । एल्काना यरोहामका छोरा थिए । यरोहाम एलीएलका छोरा थिए । एलीएल तोहका छोरा थिए ।

the son of Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Eliel, the son of Toah,

35 तोह सूपका छोरा थिए । सूप एल्‍कानाका छोरा थिए । एल्काना महतका छोरा थिए । महत अमासैका छोरा थिए । अमासै एल्‍कानाका छोरा थिए ।

the son of Zuph, the son of Elkanah, the son of Mahath, the son of Amasai,

36 एल्काना योएलका छोरा थिए । योएल अजर्याहका छोरा थिए । अजर्याह सपन्‍याहका छोरा थिए ।

the son of Elkanah, the son of Joel, the son of Azariah, the son of Zephaniah,

37 समपन्याह तहतका छोरा थिए । तहत अस्‍सीरका छोरा थिए । अस्सीर एब्‍यासापका छोरा थिए । एब्‍यासाप कोरहका छोरा थिए ।

the son of Tahath, the son of Assir, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah,

38 कोरह यिसहारका छोरा थिए । यिसहार कहातका छोरा थिए । कहात लेवीका छोरा थिए । लेवी इस्राएलका छोरा थिए ।

the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, the son of Israel.

39 हेमानका सहयोगी आसाप थिए, जो तिनको दायाँतर्फ खडा रहन्‍थे । आसाप बेरेक्‍याहका छोरा थिए । बेरेक्याह शिमेअका छोरा थिए ।

And there was also his brother, Asaph, who was standing at his right, Asaph, the son of Berechiah, the son of Shimea,

40 शिमेअ मिखाएलका छोरा थिए । मिखाएल बासेयाहका छोरा थिए । बासेयाह मल्‍कियाहका छोरा थिए ।

the son of Michael, the son of Baaseiah, the son of Malchijah,

41 मल्कियाह एत्‍नीका छोरा थिए । एत्‍नी जेरहका छोरा थिए । जेरह अदायाहका छोरा थिए ।

the son of Ethni, the son of Zerah, the son of Adaiah,

42 अदायाह एतानका छोरा थिए । एतान जिम्‍माहका छोरा थिए । जिम्माह शिमीका छोरा थिए ।

the son of Ethan, the son of Zimmah, the son of Shimei,

43 शिमी यहतका छोरा थिए । यहत गेर्शोनका छोरा थिए । गेर्शोन लेवीका छोरा थिए ।

the son of Jahath, the son of Gershom, the son of Levi.

44 हेमानका बायाँतर्फ तिनका सहयोगीहरू मरारीका छोराहरू थिए । तिनीहरूमा कीशीका छोरा एतान थिए । कीशी अब्‍दीका छोरा थिए । अब्दी मल्‍लूकका छोरा थिए ।

Now the sons of Merari, their brothers, were on the left: Ethan, the son of Kishi, the son of Abdi, the son of Malluch,

45 मल्लूक हशब्‍याहका छोरा थिए । हशब्याह अमस्‍याहका छोरा थिए । अमस्याह हिल्‍कियाहका छोरा थिए ।

the son of Hashabiah, the son of Amaziah, the son of Hilkiah,

46 हिल्कियाह अम्सीका छोरा थिए । अम्सी बानीका छोरा थिए । बानी शेमेरका छोरा थिए ।

the son of Amzi, the son of Boni, the son of Shemer,

47 शेमेर महलीका छोरा थिए । महली मूशीका छोरा थिए । मूशी मरारीका छोरा थिए । मरारी लेवीका छोरा थिए ।

the son of Mahli, the son of Mushi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.

48 तिनीहरूका सहयोगी लेवीहरूलाई परमेश्‍वरको मन्‍दिरमा भएको पवित्र वासस्‍थानका सबै कामको जिम्मा दिइयो ।

There were also their brothers, Levites who were appointed for every ministry of the tabernacle of the house of the Lord.

49 हारून र तिनका सन्‍तानहरूले वेदीमा होमबलिहरू, अनि महापवित्र स्थानमा हुने सबै कार्यको निम्ति धूप वेदीमा भेटीहरू चढाए । यी भेटीहरू इस्राएलका पापका लागि प्रायश्‍चित गर्नलाई परमेश्‍वरका दास मोशाका आज्ञाअनुसार यी सबै भेटीहरू चढाइए ।

Truly, Aaron and his sons were burning offerings upon the altar of holocausts and upon the altar of incense, for the entire work of the Holy of Holies, and to pray on behalf of Israel, in accord with all the things that Moses, the servant of God, had instructed.

50 हारूनका सन्‍तान निम्‍नानुसार चिनिन्थेः हारूनका छोरा एलाजार थिए । एलाजारका छोरा पीनहास थिए । पीनहासका छोरा अबीशू थिए ।

Now these are the sons of Aaron: Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,

51 अबीशूका छोरा बुक्‍की थिए । बुक्‍कीका छोरा उज्‍जी थिए । उज्‍जीका छोरा जरयाह थिए ।

Bukki his son, Uzzi his son, Zerahiah his son,

52 जरयाहका छोरा मरायोत थिए । मरायोतका छोरा अमर्याह थिए । अमर्याहका छोरा अहीतूब थिए ।

Meraioth his son, Amariah his son, Ahitub his son,

53 अहीतूबका छोरा सादोक थिए । सादोकका छोरा अहीमास थिए ।

Zadok his son, Ahimaaz his son.

54 हारूनका सन्‍तानको कहाती वंशलाई तोकेर दिएको इलाकामा तिनीहरूका स्थानहरू यी नै हुन्‌ (किनभने पहिलो चिट्ठा कहातीहरूलाई नै परेको थियो) ।

And these are their habitations according to the villages and confines, specifically of the sons of Aaron, according to the kindred of the Kohathites. For it fell to them by lot.

55 उनीहरूले तिनीहरूलाई यहूदाको देशमा भएको हेब्रोन र त्‍यसका खर्कहरू दिए,

And so, they gave Hebron, in the land of Judah, and its suburbs all around, to them,

56 तर त्‍यस सहरका खेतबारी र त्‍यसका गाउँहरूचाहिं तिनीहरूले यपुन्‍नेका छोरा कालेबलाई दिए ।

but they gave the fields of the city, and the villages, to Caleb, the son of Jephunneh.

57 हारूनका सन्‍तानहरूलाई तिनीहरूले हेब्रोन (शरणस्‍थानको सहर) र लिब्‍ना, यत्तीर, र एश्‍तमोका खर्कहरूसहित,

Then, to the sons of Aaron, they gave the cities of refuge: Hebron, and Libnah with its suburbs,

58 खर्कहरूसहित हीलन र खर्कहरूसहित दबीर पनि दिए ।

also Jattir and Eshtemoa with their suburbs, then also Hilen and Debir with their suburbs,

59 अनि तिनीहरूले हारूनका सन्तानलाई खर्कहरूसहित आशानका साथै खर्कहरूसहित युत्ता र बेथ-शमेश दिए ।

as well as Ashan and Beth-shemesh with their suburbs.

60 अनि बेन्‍यामीनको कुलबाट तिनीहरूले खर्कहरूसहित गेबा, खर्कहरूसहित आलेमेत, खर्कहरूसहित अनातोत दिए । तिनीहरूका सहरहरू जम्‍मा तेह्र वटा थिए । यी सहरहरू कहातीका तेह्र वंशहरू माझमा बाँडियो ।

And from the tribe of Benjamin: Geba with its suburbs, and Alemeth with its suburbs, as well as Anathoth with its suburbs. All the cities throughout their kindred were thirteen.

61 कहातका बाँकी सन्‍तानहरूलाई मनश्‍शेको आधा कुलबाट दश वटा सहरहरू बाँडियो ।

Now to the sons of Kohath, those remaining from their kindred, they gave ten cities, from the one half tribe of Manasseh, as a possession;

62 गेर्शोनका सन्‍तानहरूलाई तिनीहरूका वंशहरूमा इस्‍साखार, आशेर, नप्‍ताली र बाशानमा भएको मनश्‍शेका कुलबाट तेह्र वटा सहरहरू दिइयो ।

and to the sons of Gershom, according to their families, from the tribe of Issachar, and from the tribe of Asher, and from the tribe of Naphtali, and from the tribe Manasseh in Bashan: thirteen cities.

63 मरारीका सन्‍तानहरूलाई तिनीहरूका वंशअनुसार रूबेन, गाद र जबूलूनका कुलबाट बाह्र सहरहरू दिइए ।

Then to the sons of Merari, according to their families, from the tribe of Reuben, and from the tribe of Gad, and from the tribe of Zebulun, they gave by lot twelve cities.

64 यसरी इस्राएलीहरूले लेवीहरूलाई यी सहरहरू तिनका खर्कहरूसहित दिए ।

Also, the sons of Israel gave, to the Levites, cities and their suburbs,

65 माथि उल्लेख गरिएका सहरहरू यहूदा, शिमियोन र बेन्‍यामीनका कुलहरूबाट चिठ्ठाको माध्यमबाट तिनीहरूलाई दिइयो ।

and they gave them by lot, out of the tribe of the sons of Judah, and out of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, these cities, which they called by their names.

66 कहातीका केही वंशहरूलाई एफ्राइमको कुलबाट सहरहरू दिइए ।

And for those who were from the kindred of the sons of Kohath, the cities with their borders were from the tribe of Ephraim.

67 तिनीहरूलाई एफ्राइमको पहाडी देशमा शकेमका खर्कहरूसहित (शरणस्‍थानको सहर) गेजेरका खर्कहरूसहित,

Then they gave to them the cities of refuge: Shechem with its suburbs on mount Ephraim, and Gezer with its suburbs,

68 खर्कहरूसहित योक्‍माम र खर्कहरूसहित बेथ-होरोन,

as well as Jokmeam with its suburbs, and Beth-horon similarly,

69 खर्कहरूसहित अय्‍यालोन र खर्कहरूसहित गात-रिम्‍मोन दिइयो ।

and indeed Hilen with its suburbs, and Gath Rimmon in the same manner.

70 मनश्‍शेको आधा कुलले खर्कहरूसहित आनेर र खर्कहरूसहित बिलाम कहातीका बाँकी वंशहरूलाई दिए । यी जमिनहरू बाँकी कोहाती वंशका सम्पत्ति बने ।

Then too, out of the one half tribe of Manasseh: Aner and its suburbs, Bileam and its suburbs; these in particular went to those who were remaining from the kindred of the sons of Kohath.

71 गेर्शोनीहरूलाई मनश्‍शेका आधा कुलबाट खर्कहरूसहित बाशानमा भएको गोलान र खर्कहरूसहित अस्‍तारोत दिए ।

And to the sons of Gershom, from the kindred of the one half tribe of Manasseh: Golan, in Bashan, and its suburbs, and Ashtaroth with its suburbs;

72 इस्‍साखारको कुलले खर्कहरूसहित केदेश, खर्कहरूसहित दाबरत,

from the tribe of Issachar: Kedesh and its suburbs, and Daberath with its suburbs,

73 खर्कहरूसहित रामोत र खर्कहरूसहित अनेम दिए ।

as well as Ramoth and its suburbs, and Anem with its suburbs;

74 इस्साखारले आशेरको कुलबाट खर्कहरूसहित माशाल, खर्कहरूसहित अब्‍दोन,

truly, from the tribe of Asher: Mashal with its suburbs, and Abdon similarly;

75 खर्कहरूसहित हूकोक र खर्कहरूसहित रहोब प्राप्‍त गरे ।

as well as Hukkok and its suburbs, and Rehob with its suburbs;

76 तिनीहरूले नप्‍तालीको कुलबाट खर्कहरूसहित गालीलको केदेश, खर्कहरूसहित हम्‍मोन र खर्कहरूसहित किर्यातैम, प्राप्‍त गरे ।

moreover, from the tribe of Naphtali: Kedesh in Galilee and its suburbs, Hammon with its suburbs, and Kiriathaim and its suburbs.

77 मरारीका बाँकी सन्‍तानहरूले जबूलूनको कुलबाट खर्कहरूसहित योक्‍माम, कर्तह, रिम्‍मोनो र खर्कहरूसहित तबोर प्राप्‍त गरे,

Then to the remaining sons of Merari, from the tribe of Zebulun: Rimmono and its suburbs, and Tabor with its suburbs;

78 अनि यर्दन पारि यरीहोको पूर्वपट्टि रूबेनको कुलबाट मरुभूमिमा भएको बेसेर, यहसाह,

and also, across the Jordan opposite Jericho, facing the east of the Jordan, from the tribe of Reuben: Bezer in the wilderness with its suburbs, and Jahzah with its suburbs;

79 खर्कहरूसहित कदेमोत र खर्कहरूसहित मेपात,

as well as Kedemoth and its suburbs, and Mephaath with its suburbs;

80 लेवीहरूले गादको कुलबाट खर्कहरूसहित गिलादमा भएको रामोत, खर्कहरूसहित महनोम,

indeed also, from the tribe of Gad: Ramoth in Gilead and its suburbs, and Mahanaim with its suburbs;

81 खर्कहरूसहित हेश्‍बोन र खर्कहरूसहित याजेर प्राप्‍त गरे ।

then too, Heshbon with its suburbs, and Jazer with its suburbs.
