1 Inkatho yesibili yasivela yaya kuSimeyoni, eyesizwe sabantwana bakoSimeyoni, ngokwensendo zabo. Lelifa labo laliphakathi kwelifa labantwana bakoJuda.
And the second lot came forth to Simeon, [even] for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families: and their inheritance was within the inheritance of the children of Judah.
2 Elifeni labo-ke babeleBherishebha leShebha leMolada
And they had in their inheritance, Beer-sheba, and Sheba, and Moladah.
3 leHazari-Shuwali leBala leEzema
And Hazar-shual, and Balah, and Azem,
4 leElitoladi leBethuli leHorma
And Eltolad, and Bethul, and Hormah,
5 leZikilagi leBeti-Marikabothi leHazari-Susa
And Ziklag, and Beth-marcaboth, and Hazar-susah,
6 leBeti-Lebawothi leSharuheni; imizi elitshumi lantathu lemizana yayo.
And Beth-lebaoth, and Sheruhen; thirteen cities and their villages:
7 IEni, iRimoni leEtheri leAshani; imizi emine lemizana yayo.
Ain, Remmon, and Ether, and Ashan; four cities and their villages:
8 Layo yonke imizana ezingelezele imizi le, kuze kufike eBahalathi-Beri, iRama yeningizimu. Leli yilifa lesizwe sabantwana bakoSimeyoni ngokwensendo zabo.
And all the villages that [were] around these cities to Baalath-beer, Ramath of the south. This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families.
9 Ilifa labantwana bakoSimeyoni lavela enkathweni yabantwana bakoJuda; ngoba isigaba sabantwana bakoJuda sasisikhulu kakhulu kibo; ngakho abantwana bakoSimeyoni badla ilifa phakathi kwelifa labo.
Out of the portion of the children of Judah [was] the inheritance of the children of Simeon: for the part of the children of Judah was too much for them: therefore the children of Simeon had their inheritance within the inheritance of them.
10 Inkatho yesithathu yasivela yaya kubantwana bakoZebuluni ngokwensendo zabo. Lomngcele welifa labo wafika eSaridi.
And the third lot came up for the children of Zebulun according to their families: and the border of their inheritance was to Sarid:
11 Umngcele wabo-ke wenyukela entshonalanga leMarala, wafinyelela eDabeshethi wafinyelela esifuleni esiphambi kweJokineyamu;
And their border went up towards the sea, and Maralah, and reached to Dabbasheth, and reached to the river that [is] before Jokneam,
12 waphenduka uvela eSaridi usiya empumalanga lapho okuphuma khona ilanga emngceleni weKisilothi-Thabhori, waphuma waya eDaberathi, wenyukela eJafiya;
And turned from Sarid eastward, towards the sun-rising, to the border of Chisloth-tabor, and then goeth out to Daberath, and goeth up to Japhia,
13 ususuka lapho wedlulela empumalanga, endaweni yokuphuma kwelanga, usiya eGitha-Heferi leItha-Kazini, waphumela eRimoni, uphendukela eNeya.
And from thence passeth along on the east to Gittah-hepher, to Ittah-kazin, and goeth out to Remmon-methoar to Neah;
14 Lomngcele wayizingelezela enyakatho eHanathoni; lokuphuma kwawo kwaba sesihotsheni seJifitaheli.
And the border compasseth it on the north side to Hannathon: and the limits of it are in the valley of Jiphthah-el:
15 LeKatathi leNahalali leShimironi leJidala leBhethelehema, imizi elitshumi lambili lemizana yayo.
And Kattath, and Nahallal, and Shimron, and Idalah, and Beth-lehem; twelve cities with their villages.
16 Leli yilifa labantwana bakoZebuluni ngokwensendo zabo: Imizi le lemizana yayo.
This [is] the inheritance of the children of Zebulun according to their families, these cities with their villages.
17 Inkatho yesine yavela yaya kubantwana bakoIsakari ngokwensendo zabo.
[And] the fourth lot came out to Issachar, for the children of Issachar according to their families.
18 Umngcele wabo-ke wawuyiJizereyeli leKesulothi leShunemi
And their border was towards Jezreel, and Chesulloth, and Shunem,
19 leHafarayimi leShiyoni leAnaharathi
And Hapharaim, and Shihon, and Anaharath,
20 leRabithi leKishiyoni leAbezi
And Rabbith, and Kishion, and Abez,
21 leRemethi leEni-Ganimi leEni-Hada leBeti-Pazezi.
And Remeth, and En-gannim, and En-haddah, and Beth-pazzez;
22 Lomngcele wafinyelela eThabhori leShahazima leBeti-Shemeshi; lokuphuma komngcele wabo kwakuseJordani; imizi elitshumi lesithupha lemizana yayo.
And the border reacheth to Tabor, and Shahazimah, and Beth-shemesh, and the limits of their border were at Jordan: sixteen cities with their villages.
23 Leli yilifa lesizwe sabantwana bakoIsakari ngokwensendo zabo, imizi lemizana yayo.
This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Issachar according to their families, the cities and their villages.
24 Inkatho yesihlanu yasivela yaya esizweni sabantwana bakoAsheri ngokwensendo zabo.
And the fifth lot came out for the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families.
25 Umngcele wabo-ke wawuyiHelkathi leHali leBeteni leAkishafi
And their border was Helkath, and Hali, and Beten, and Achshaph,
26 leAlameleki leAmadi leMishali; wasufinyelela eKharmeli entshonalanga leShihori-Libhinathi,
And Alammelech, and Amad, and Misheal; and reacheth to Carmel westward, and to Shihor-libnath;
27 waphendukela lapho okuphuma khona ilanga usiya eBeti-Dagoni, wafinyelela eZebuluni lesihotsha seJifitaheli enyakatho waya eBeti-Emeki leNeyiyeli, waphumela eKabuli kwesokhohlo,
And turneth towards the sun-rising to Beth-dagon, and reacheth to Zebulun, and to the valley of Jiphthah-el towards the north side of Beth-emek, and Neiel, and goeth out to Cabul on the left hand,
28 leEbroni leRehobi leHamoni leKana, kwaze kwaba seSidoni enkulu.
And Hebron, and Rehob, and Hammon, and Kanah, [even] to great Zidon;
29 Umngcele wasuphendukela eRama, waya emzini obiyelweyo weTire; lomngcele waphendukela eHosa; lokuphuma kwawo kwakuselwandle, uvela esigabeni usiya eAkizibi
And [then] the border turneth to Ramah, and to the strong city Tyre; and the border turneth to Hosah: and the limits of it are at the sea from the coast to Achzib:
30 leUma leAfeki leRehobi; imizi engamatshumi amabili lambili lemizana yayo.
Ummah also, and Aphek, and Rehob: twenty and two cities with their villages.
31 Leli yilifa lesizwe sabantwana bakoAsheri ngokwensendo zabo, imizi le lemizana yayo.
This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Asher according to their families, these cities with their villages.
32 Inkatho yesithupha yavela yaya kubantwana bakoNafithali, eyabantwana bakoNafithali ngokwensendo zabo.
The sixth lot came out to the children of Naphtali, [even] for the children of Naphtali according to their families.
33 Umngcele wabo wasusuka eHelefi, esihlahleni se-okhi eZahananimi leAdami-Nekebi leJabineli, kwaze kwaba seLakumi; lokuphuma kwawo kwakuseJordani.
And their border was from Heleph, from Allon to Zaanannim, and Adami, Nekeb, and Jabneel, to Lakum; and the limits thereof were at Jordan:
34 Umngcele wasuphendukela entshonalanga usiya eAzinothi-Thabhori, waphuma lapho waya eHukoki, wafinyelela eZebuluni ngeningizimu, leAsheri wafinyelela entshonalanga, leJuda eJordani lapho okuphuma khona ilanga.
And [then] the border turneth westward to Aznoth-tabor, and goeth out from thence to Hukkok, and reacheth to Zebulun on the south side, and reacheth to Asher on the west side, and to Judah upon Jordan towards the sun-rising.
35 Njalo imizi ebiyelweyo yile: IZidimi, iZeri, leHamathi, iRakathi, leKinerethi,
And the fortified cities [are] Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath, and Chinnereth,
36 leAdama, leRama, leHazori,
And Adamah, and Ramah, and Hazor,
37 leKedeshi, leEdreyi, leEni-Hazori,
And Kedesh, and Edrei, and En-hazor,
38 leYironi, leMigidali-Eli, iHorema, leBeti-Anathi, leBeti-Shemeshi; imizi elitshumi lesificamunwemunye lemizana yayo.
And Iron, and Migdal-el, Horem, and Beth-anath, and Beth-shemesh; nineteen cities with their villages.
39 Leli yilifa lesizwe sabantwana bakoNafithali ngokwensendo zabo, imizi lemizana yayo.
This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Naphtali according to their families, the cities and their villages.
40 Inkatho yesikhombisa yavela yaya esizweni sabantwana bakoDani ngokwensendo zabo.
[And] the seventh lot came out for the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families.
41 Lomngcele welifa labo wawuyiZora leEshitawoli leIri-Shemeshi
And the border of their inheritance was Zorah, and Eshtaol, and Ir-shemesh,
42 leShahalabini leAjaloni leJithila
And Shaalabbim, and Ajalon, and Jethlah,
43 leEloni leTiminatha leEkhironi
And Elon, and Thimnathah, and Ekron,
44 leEliteke leGibethoni leBahalathi
And Eltekeh, and Gibbethon, and Baalath,
45 leJehudi leBene-Beraki leGathi-Rimoni
And Jehud, and Bene-berak, and Gath-rimmon,
46 leMe-Jarkoni leRakoni kanye lomngcele oqondene leJafo.
And Me-jarkon, and Rakkon, with the border before Japho.
47 Lomngcele wabantwana bakoDani wavela umncinyane kakhulu kubo. Ngakho abantwana bakoDani benyuka ukuyakulwa bemelene leLeshema; sebeyithumbile bayitshaya ngobukhali benkemba, badla ilifa layo, bahlala kiyo, bayibiza iLeshema ngokuthi yiDani, ngebizo likaDani uyise.
And the border of the children of Dan, went out [too little] for them: therefore the children of Dan went up to fight against Leshem, and took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and possessed it, and dwelt in it, and called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their father.
48 Leli yilifa lesizwe sabantwana bakoDani ngokwensendo zabo, imizi le lemizana yayo.
This [is] the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families, these cities with their villages.
49 Kwathi sebeqedile ukwaba ilizwe libe yilifa ngokwemingcele yalo, abantwana bakoIsrayeli bamnika uJoshuwa indodana kaNuni ilifa phakathi kwabo.
When they had made an end of dividing the land for inheritance by their borders, the children of Israel gave an inheritance to Joshua the son of Nun among them:
50 Ngokomlayo weNkosi bamnika umuzi awucelayo, iThiminathi-Sera entabeni yakoEfrayimi, wasesakha umuzi, wahlala kuwo.
According to the word of the LORD they gave him the city which he asked, [even] Timnath-serah in mount Ephraim: and he built the city, and dwelt in it.
51 La ngamafa uEleyazare umpristi loJoshuwa indodana kaNuni lenhloko zaboyise zezizwe zabantwana bakoIsrayeli abawaba aba yilifa ngenkatho eShilo phambi kweNkosi, emnyango wethente lenhlangano. Baqeda-ke ukulaba ilizwe.
These [are] the inheritances which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, divided for an inheritance by lot in Shiloh before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. So they made an end of dividing the country.
