< Colossians 2 >
1 Moi kiman dukh korise apuni khan nimite etu janibole dibo karone mon ase, aru Laodicea sheher te thaka khan, aru kun manu etiya tak moi laga chehera dikha nai.
For I would have you know what a great conflict I have for you, and for those in Laodicea, and as many as have not seen me in person:
2 Moi taikhan laga mon dangor kori dibole nimite kaam kore aru morom pora eke logote ani kene sob gyaan laga dhun pora bhorta kori dibole nimite, Isor laga hosa kotha lukai kene rakhi thaka khan bujhi bole nimite, juntu Khrista ase.
that their hearts may be comforted, being knit together in love, and to all the riches of a full assurance of understanding in these things, to the acknowledgment of the mystery of our God and Father, and of Christ:
3 Khrista logote he sob gyaan aru buddhi laga dhun khan lukai kene ase.
in whom are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
4 Moi apuni khan ke etu koidi ase kun pora bhi phusla kotha kori kene apuni khan ke thogai nadibo nimite.
And this I say, least any one should deceive you with fine speeches.
5 Moi apuni khan logote gaw pora nathakile bhi, moi apuni khan logote atma te ase. Moi apuni khan laga takot aru Khrista uporte biswas aru bhal kaam khan kori thaka saikene khushi kori ase.
For though I be absent in body, yet am I with you in spirit, rejoicing and beholding your regularity, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.
6 Etu nimite, apuni Probhu Jisu Khrista ke luwa nisena, Tai logote bera bhi.
Therefore as ye have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in Him;
7 Gash laga shikor thaka nisena nijorke Tai logote bonai lobi, aru apuni ke sikhai diya nisena hodai biswas te thakibi, aru dhanyavad di thakibi.
rooted and built up in Him, and established in the faith, as ye have been taught it, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
8 Sabi kun manu pora bhi apuni ke misa laga kotha khan koi kene dhori rakhibole nadibi, manu khan laga niyom hisab te, aru etu prithibi laga saman khan te khushi paikene, aru Khrista ke khushi nakori kene prithibi laga itcha te najabi.
Take heed least any one make a prey of you by philosophy and vain deceit, according to the tradition of men, after the elements of the world, and not after Christ:
9 Kelemane Khrista pora he Isor laga ki itcha ase eitu khan pura manu khan logote thaki bole diye.
for all the fulness of the deity dwelleth personally in Him.
10 Apuni khan Tai logote bhorta hoi jaise, kun etu sob takot aru adhikar laga matha ase.
And ye are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.
11 Tai pora apuni ke bhi sunnot kori dise aru gaw mangso laga sunnot nohoi kintu Jisu Khrista laga khun pora sunnot kori dise.
In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision not performed by hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision which is of Christ:
12 Tai logote baptizma pora apuni ke kobor te dise, biswas aru Isor laga takot pora Tai apuni ke jinda kori dise, kun he Taike mora pora jinda kori dise.
being buried with Him in baptism, wherein also ye are raised together with Him, through faith in the power of God, who raised Him from the dead.
13 Jitia apuni khan paap aru gaw mangso laga sunnot pora mori kene thakise, Tai logote apuni khan ke jinda kori dise aru amikhan laga kiman paap thakise, etu sob maph kori dise.
And when ye were dead in trespasses, and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,
14 Amikhan laga uporte baki lagai kene thaka khan sob Isor pora tirai dise, kun to amikhan uporte hali disele. Taike Cross te gojal mara pora etu baki hatai dise.
and cancelled the obligation we were under by ritual decrees, which was grievous to us, and hath taken it quite away, even nailing it to his cross.
15 Khrista pora taikhan laga takot aru adhikar khan ke komjur koridi kene manu khan laga usorte dikhai dise, Cross uporte mori kene taikhan uporte jiti loise.
And having spoiled principalities and powers, He made them an open spectacle, triumphing over them by it.
16 Etu nimite, apuni kha luwa kora to bisar kori bole nadibi, aru notun chand ula homoi te kha luwa kora khan manu ke bisar kori bole nadibi, aru Bisram din bhi bisar kori bole nadibi.
Let no one therefore judge you on account of meat, or drink, or in respect of a feast, or a new-moon, or sabbaths;
17 Eitu khan sob to ahibole thaka laga chaya nisina he ase, kintu asol laga kotha to Khrista he ase.
which are a shadow of good things to come, but the body is of Christ.
18 Kun manu dhorjo lobole mon ase aru sorgodoth khan ke aradhana kore, taikhan pora thogai kene tumikhan laga uphar harabo nadibi. Etu nisena manu to tai ki dikhise etu pora nijor mangso bhabona te bisi phutani hoijai.
Let no one deprive you of your reward by an affected humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into what he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his carnal mind;
19 Tai matha to dhori kene nathake. Etu matha pora he pura gaw laga kaam khan eke logote dhori kene rakhe; etu Isor pora diya pora he dangor hoi.
and not adhering to the head, from which all the body, being supplied and held together as by joints and bands, increaseth with the increase of God.
20 Jodi apuni Khrista logote etu prithibi laga sob jinis khan chari dise, titia hoile aru bhi etu prithibi laga itcha te thaka nisena kele thaki ase:
If therefore ye be dead with Christ from the elements of the world; why, as if living in the world, are ye subject to ceremonial ordinances,
21 Apuni nadhuri bhi, aru khai nasabi, aru na chubi!”
(such as "touch not, taste not,
22 Eitu khan sob to harai jai ase, manu khan pora kowa aru sikhai diya nisena.
handle not," which all tend to corruption in the using, ) according to the commandments and doctrines of men?
23 Eitu khan niyom to nijor laga gyaan pora bonai diya dhorom aru misa pora nomro dikhai diya he ase. Kintu taikhan laga gaw mangso laga kaam khan to eku daam nai.
which things indeed have a pretence to wisdom in voluntary worship, and humiliation, and bodily penance, as having no regard to the satisfying of the flesh.
