1 Timothy 1
1 Paul, Jisu Khrista laga ekjon apostle, Isor amikhan laga Tran-Korta laga hukum dwara Jisu Khrista, jun amikhan laga asha ase,
Paul an apostle of Jesus Christ by the appointment of God our Saviour, and the Lord Jesus Christ our hope,
2 Timothy ke likhi ase, biswas te ami laga hosa chokra; anugraha, daya, aru shanti Baba Isor aru Jisu Khrista amikhan laga Probhu naam pora.
to Timothy my true son in the faith, be grace, mercy, and peace from God our Father, and Christ Jesus our Lord.
3 Moi Macedonia te jabole homoi te apnike ki kori bole koise, etiya bhi moi etu he koi ase, Ephesus te he thaki bhi aru kunba khan ke dusra shastro nashikabo nimite hukum dibi.
As I exhorted thee to stay at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge certain persons not to teach other doctrine,
4 Aru taikhan dusra jati laga dristanto khan aru dangor khandan laga kotha khan te mon nadibi kobi, juntu kotha khan pora jhagara he ulai, aru Isor laga kaam juntu biswas pora he hoi, etu komjur hoijai.
nor attend to fables and endless genealogies, which occasion debates, rather than pious edification in the faith:
5 Etiya hukum laga asol maksad to sapha mon laga morom, bhal bhabona, aru mojbut biswas khan ase.
so do, and acquaint them that the end of that charge is charity, out of a pure heart, and a good conscience, and faith unfeigned:
6 Kunba khan etu rasta chari kene misa-misi kotha phale ghuri jaise.
from which some having swerved are turned aside to vain discourses;
7 Taikhan niyom laga hikhok khan hobole mon ase, kintu taikhan ki koi ase aru ki bujhi kene mon dangor pora etu paribo bhabi ase, taikhan eitu khan ekta bhi najane.
desiring to be teachers of the law, though they neither understand what they say, nor what things they assert.
8 Hoilebi jun niyom hisab te niyom cholai, etu niyom to bhal ase koi kene jane.
But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;
9 Amikhan etu jani ase, niyom to dharmik manu nimite bonai diya nohoi, kintu, dhorom namana aru kotha namana khan nimite bonai, Isor ke najana paapi manu khan, dhorom ke bodnam aru moila kora khan, baba-ama khan ke morai diya aru manu khan ke morai diya khan nimite,
knowing this, that a law does not lie against a righteous person, but against the lawless and unruly, the impious and wicked, the unholy and profane,
10 bebichari kora manu khan, mota-maiki biya kaam kora manu khan, manu ke nokor nisena bikiri kora khan, misa kowa khan, misa-misi kosom kora manu khan, aru utu sob juntu to biswasi manu khan ke hikai dibole nimite koi diya laga anurodh te ase.
parricides, murderers, whoremongers, sodomites, kidnappers, liars, false-swearers, and if there be any thing else contrary to that sound doctrine,
11 Etu sob kaam to asishit thaka Isor pora moike diya mohima laga susamachar ase.
which is according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, with which I was intrusted.
12 Moi Jisu Khrista, amikhan laga Probhu ke dhanyavad di ase, jun pora amike hokti dise, Tai moike biswas korise aru Tai laga kaam karone moike mati loise.
And I give thanks to Christ Jesus our Lord, who gave me ability for the work, that He accounted me faithful, having put me into the ministry,
13 Age te, moi Probhu ke ninda kora manu thakise, aru buswasi khan ke bisi dukh digdar dise aru mara-mari kori thaka manu thakise, kintu ami daya paise, kele koile moi etu sob to biswas nathaka pora najani kene korise.
who before was a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and an oppressor. But I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief: and the grace of our Lord superabounded,
14 Kintu amikhan laga Probhu laga anugraha moi logote bhorta dise, aru Khrista Jisu te biswas aru morom dise.
with faith and love in Christ Jesus.
15 Etu to hosa aru manibo laga kotha ase, Jisu Khrista paapi khan ke bacha bole ahise aru paapi khan majot te moi sob pora maha paapi ase.
It is a truth highly to be believed, and worthy to be received by all, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners: ---of whom I am one of the chief.
16 Kintu etu karone moi Isor laga daya paise, aru etu ekta kaam nimite ase, paapi manu kiman jon anonto jibon nimite biswas kori kene ahibole ase, taikhan uporte Jisu Khrista laga dhorjo thik dikhai dibo nimite ase. (aiōnios g166)
But for this end I obtained mercy, that in me a chief sinner Jesus Christ might display his long-suffering, for an example to those who should afterwards believe on Him to eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
17 Etiya yug upor yug laga raja, anonto thaka, suku pora dikhibo napara, ekjon he thaka Isor, ke sonman aru mohima hodai aru hodai nimite hobi. Amen. (aiōn g165)
Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen. (aiōn g165)
18 Apnike hukum di ase, Timothy, moi laga bacha, utu bhabobani khan hisab te juntu apuni nimite dise, titia apuni eitu khan pora ekta biswas laga lorai kori bole paribo.
This charge I commit to thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which before came on thee, that by them thou mightest war a good warfare,
19 Khrista ke biswas ke dhori kene aru ekta bhal bhabona thakibi, juntu kunba manu khan chari dise aru panite taikhan laga biswas to jahaaj dubi ja nisena dubai dise.
having faith and a good conscience, which some putting away have made shipwreck concerning the faith:
20 Eitu khan to Hymenaeus aru Alexander ase, jun khan ke moi Saitan laga hathte di dise titia taikhan hikibo Isor naam ke ninda nakoribole.
of whom is Hymeneus and Alexander, whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.
