1 Bhakilishitu ajangunji, nne punaishe kunngwenunji kukunnungushiyanga, nangannungushayanga ya nng'iyo ga ntenga gwa a Nnungu, kwa talashiya ukoto wala kwa lunda lwa shigundu.
AND I, when I came to you, brethren, came not with superior excellence of discourse or wisdom, preaching unto you the gospel of God.
2 Punaliji kunngwenunji nashinkutumbilila ngunalunguye shindu shoshowe, ikabhe mwaamanyanje a Yeshu Kilishitu, bhakomelwe munshalabha.
For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ and him crucified.
3 Punaliji kunngwenunji ngakweteje mashili, nguliungumila na lipamba lya kaje.
And in weakness, and in fear, and in much timidity, was I among you.
4 Malobhe gangu na kulunguya kwangu kukaliji kwa lunda na tekeya, ikabhe kwa ilangulo na mashili gaka Mbumu jwa Ukonjelo.
And my conversation and my preaching was not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but with demonstration of the Spirit, and of power:
5 Nashinkutenda genego nkupinga ngulupai jenunji jinatamile ga lunda luka mundu, ikabhe mmashili ga a Nnungu.
that your faith might not stand on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God.
6 Nkali nneyo, tunabheleketa kwa lunda kwa bhene bhaishimilikenje nngulupai bhala, ikabheje lwene lundalo nngabha lwa pa shilambolyo pano, wala nngabha lwa bhakulunhwanji bha pa shilambolyo bhalinginji munkumbi gwa bhaobhanga. (aiōn g165)
But we speak wisdom among the perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the rulers of this world, who are destroying themselves: (aiōn g165)
7 Lunda lutubheleketa lwa shinjubhi sha a Nnungu, ni lunda lwaishiwe, kuumila kupanganywa shilambolyo, kwa ligongo lya ukojelo gewtu. (aiōn g165)
but we speak the wisdom of God, which had been hid in mystery, which God predestined before the worlds were, for our glory: (aiōn g165)
8 Lwene lundalo bhatagwala bha pashilambolyo bhakakulumanyanga, pabha kaliji bhakalumanyinji, ngubhakaakomelenjeje munshalabha, Bhakulungwa bha Ukonjelo. (aiōn g165)
which none of the rulers of this world have known: for if they had known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. (aiōn g165)
9 Ikabheje malinga shiijandikwe, “Indu ikanabhe bhoneka na mundu wala kwiipilikana, indu ikanabhe ganishiywa na mundu, genego a Nnungu ni gubhaabhishilenje bhandu bhakwaapinganga bhala.”
But, as it is written, “The things which eye hath not seen, and ear hath not heard, and that have not entered into the heart of man, these hath God prepared for those who love him.”
10 Genego gubhatulangwiye a Nnungu kwa Mbumu jwabho. Pabha Mbumu analoleya indu yowe nkali indu ya injubhi ya a Nnungu.
But to us hath God revealed them by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth out all things, even the depths of God.
11 Gani akwiimanya indu ili mmbumu juka mundu ikabhe mbumu juka mundu nnyene? Nneyo peyo indu ya a Nnungu jwakwa akwiimanya ikabhe Mbumu jwa a Nnungu.
For who among men knoweth the things of man, save the spirit of man which is in him? so also the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
12 Ikabheje uwe twangaposhela mbumu jwa pashilambolyo, ikabhe Mbumu akopoka kwa a Nnungu nkupinga atukomboye kugamanya gowe gubhatulagushiye a Nnungu.
Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is from God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
Which things also we speak, not in discourses framed by human wisdom, but taught by the Spirit of God; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 Mundu jwa lunda lwa shibhelekwe, akakwiiposhela indu ika Mbumu jwa a Nnungu. Kuka jwenejo inabhoneka mbuti ungumba wala akakwiimanya, pabha pugamanyika kwa jangutilwa naka Mbumu jwa Ukonjelo.
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are folly to him: and he cannot know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
15 Ikabheje mundu akwete jwene Mbumujo anakombola kuukumula gowe, na nnyene akaukumulwa naka mundu juna.
But the spiritual man discerneth indeed all things, though himself is discernible by no man.
16 Majandiko gakuti, “Gani akombola kulumanya lunda lwa Bhakulungwa? Gani shaabhelekete nabho?” Ikabheje uwe tushikola lunda lwa a Kilishitu.
For who hath known the mind of the Lord? who will instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
