And he rose early Joshua in the morning and they set out from Shittim and they came to the Jordan he and all [the] people Israel and they stayed there before they passed over.
2 Na, i te paunga o nga ra e toru, ka haere nga rangatira na waenganui o te puni;
And it was from [the] end of three days and they passed the officers in [the] midst of the camp.
3 A ka whakahau i te iwi, ka mea, E kite koutou i te aaka o te kawenata a Ihowa, a to koutou Atua, i nga tohunga hoki, i nga Riwaiti e amo ana, hei kona ka whakatika atu i o koutou nohoanga, ka haere i muri.
And they commanded the people saying when see you [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh God your and the priests the Levites carrying it and you you will set out from place your and you will go behind it.
4 Otiia kia whai takiwa ki waenganui o koutou, o taua mea; kia rua mano whatianga, he mea whanganga marie; kaua e whakatata ki taua mea, kia mohio ai koutou ki te huarahi e haere ai koutou: kahore nei hoki koutou i haere i tena huarahi i mua ake ne i.
Nevertheless - a distance it will be between you (and between it *Q(k)*) about two thousand cubit[s] by measurement may not you draw near to it so that that you may know the way which you will go in it for not you have passed in the way from yesterday three days ago.
5 A i mea ano a Hohua ki te iwi, Whakatapu i a koutou: ko apopo hoki a Ihowa mahi ai i nga mea whakamiharo ki waenganui i a koutou.
And he said Joshua to the people consecrate yourselves for tomorrow he will do Yahweh in midst your wonders.
6 I mea ano a Hohua ki nga tohunga, Hapainga ake te aaka o te kawenata, haere i mua i te iwi. A hapainga ana e ratou te aaka o te kawenata, a haere ana i mua i te iwi.
And he said Joshua to the priests saying lift up [the] ark of the covenant and pass over before the people and they lifted up [the] ark of the covenant and they went before the people.
7 A ka mea a Ihowa ki a Hohua, Ko aianei ahau timata ai te whakanui i a koe ki te aroaro o Iharaira katoa, kia mohio ai ratou, i a mohi ahau, ka pera ano ahau ki a koe.
And he said Yahweh to Joshua the day this I will begin to make great you in [the] eyes of all Israel that they will know! that just as I was with Moses I will be with you.
8 A mau e whakahau ki nga tohunga e amo ana i te aaka o te kawenata, e mea, E tae koutou ki te tapa o te wai o Horano, me ata tu i roto i Horano.
And you you will command the priests [the] bearers of [the] ark of the covenant saying when come you to [the] edge of [the] waters of the Jordan in the Jordan you will stand still.
9 Na ka mea a Hohua ki nga tama a Iharaira, Haere mai, whakarongo ki nga kupu a Ihowa, a to koutou Atua.
And he said Joshua to [the] people of Israel draw near hither and hear [the] words of Yahweh God your.
10 Na ka mea a Hohua, Ma konei koutou ka mohio ai kei roto i a koutou te Atua ora, a ka peia rawatia e ia i to koutou aroaro nga Kanaani, nga Hiti, nga Hiwi, nga Perihi, nga Kirikahi, nga Amori, me nga Iepuhi.
And he said Joshua by this you will know! that God living [is] in midst your and certainly he will dispossess from before you the Canaanite[s] and the Hittite[s] and the Hivite[s] and the Perizzite[s] and the Girgashite[s] and the Amorite[s] and the Jebusite[s].
11 Nana, ko te aaka o te kawenata a te Ariki o te ao katoa te haere nei i mua i a koutou ki roto o Horano.
Here! [the] ark of the covenant [the] lord of all the earth [is] about to pass on before you in the Jordan.
12 Na motuhia ki a koutou kia tekau ma rua tangata o nga iwi o Iharaira, kia takikotahi te tangata o te iwi.
And therefore take for yourselves two [plus] ten man from [the] tribes of Israel a man one a man one to the tribe.
13 A, ina tatu nga kapu o nga waewae o nga tohunga e amo ana i te aaka a Ihowa, a te Ariki o te ao katoa, ki nga wai o Horano, ka motuhia nga wai o Horano, ara nga wai e rere mai ana i runga; a ka tu ake, kotahi ano puranga.
And it will be when rest [the] soles of [the] feet of the priests [the] bearers of [the] ark of Yahweh [the] lord of all the earth in [the] waters of the Jordan [the] waters of the Jordan they will be cut off! the waters that are coming down from to above so they may stand a heap one.
14 A, no te haerenga atu o te iwi i o ratou teneti ki te whakawhiti i Horano, me nga tohunga hoki e amo ana i te aaka o te kawenata i mua i te iwi;
And it was when set out the people from tents their to pass over the Jordan and the priests [the] bearers of the ark the covenant before the people.

And just as came [the] bearers of the ark to the Jordan and [the] feet of the priests [the] bearers of the ark they were dipped in [the] edge of the waters and the Jordan it is full over all banks its all [the] days of harvest.
And they stood the waters which came down from to above they rose a heap one far away very (from Adam *Q(K)*) the city which [is] from [the] side of Zarethan and which went down to [the] sea of the Arabah [the] Sea of Salt they were complete they were cut off and the people they passed over before Jericho.
