Heremaia 42
1 Katahi nga rangatira katoa o nga ope, ratou ko Hohanana tama a Karea, ko Tetania tama a Hohaia, ko te iwi katoa hoki, i te iti ki te rahi, ka haere mai,
Da traten herzu alle Hauptleute des Heers, Johanan, der Sohn Kareahs, Jesanja, der Sohn Hosajas, samt dem ganzen Volk, beide, klein und groß,

und sprachen zum Propheten Jeremia: Lieber, laß unser Gebet vor dir gelten und bitte für uns den HERRN, deinen Gott, um all diese Übrigen (denn unser ist leider wenig geblieben von vielen, wie du uns selbst siehest mit deinen Augen),

daß uns der HERR, dein Gott, wollte anzeigen, wohin wir ziehen und was wir tun sollen.

Und der Prophet Jeremia sprach zu ihnen: Wohlan, ich will gehorchen; und siehe, ich will den HERRN, euren Gott, bitten, wie ihr gesagt habt; und alles, was euch der HERR antworten wird, das will ich euch anzeigen und will euch nichts verhalten.

Und sie sprachen zu Jeremia: Der HERR sei ein gewisser und wahrhaftiger Zeuge zwischen uns, wo wir nicht tun werden alles, das dir der HERR, dein Gott, an uns befehlen wird.
6 Ahakoa pai, ahakoa kino, ka rongo matou ki te reo o Ihowa, o to tatou Atua, ka unga nei koe e matou ki a ia; kia whai pai ai matou, ki te rongo matou ki te reo o Ihowa, o to tatou Atua.
Es sei Gutes oder Böses, so wollen wir gehorchen der Stimme des HERRN, unsers Gottes, zu dem wir dich senden, auf daß uns wohlgehe, so wir der Stimme des HERRN, unsers Gottes, gehorchen.
7 Na i te mutunga o nga ra kotahi tekau ka puta mai te kupu a Ihowa ki a Heremaia.
Und nach zehn Tagen geschah des HERRN Wort zu Jeremia.
8 Katahi ia ka karanga ki a Hohanana tama a Karea, ratou ko ona hoa, ko nga rangatira katoa o nga ope, ki te iwi katoa hoki, ki te iti, ki te rahi,
Da rief er Johanan, den Sohn Kareahs, und alle Hauptleute des Heers, die bei ihm waren, und alles Volk, beide, klein und groß,
9 A ka mea ki a ratou, Ko te kupu tenei a Ihowa, a te Atua o Iharaira, i unga nei ahau e koutou ki te whakatakoto i ta koutou inoi ki tona aroaro;
und sprach zu ihnen: So spricht der HERR, der Gott Israels, zu dem ihr mich gesandt habt, daß ich euer Gebet vor ihn sollte bringen:
10 Ki te noho tonu koutou ki tenei whenua, katahi ahau ka hanga i a koutou, a kahore e wahi iho i a koutou, ka whakatokia hoki koutou e ahau, a kahore e hutia ake: no te mea e ripeneta ana ahau ki te kino kua oti nei i ahau te mea ki a koutou.
Werdet ihr in diesem Lande bleiben, so will, ich euch bauen und nicht zerbrechen; ich will euch pflanzen und nicht ausreuten; denn es hat mich schon gereuet das Übel, das ich euch getan habe.

Ihr sollt euch nicht fürchten vor dem Könige zu Babel, vor dem ihr euch fürchtet, spricht der HERR; ihr sollt euch vor ihm nicht fürchten; denn ich will bei euch sein, daß ich euch helfe und von seiner Hand errette.

Ich will euch Barmherzigkeit erzeigen und mich über euch erbarmen und euch wieder in euer Land bringen.

Werdet ihr aber sagen: Wir wollen nicht im Lande bleiben, damit ihr ja nicht gehorchet der Stimme des HERRN, eures Gottes,
14 Ka mea, Kahore; engari ka haere matou ki te whenua o Ihipa, ki te wahi e kore ai matou e kite i te whawhai, e kore ai hoki e rongo i te tangi o te tetere, a e kore ai e hiakai ki te taro; a hei reira tatou noho ai:
sondern sagen: Nein, wir wollen nach Ägyptenland ziehen, daß wir keinen Krieg sehen noch der Posaunen Schall hören und nicht Hunger Brots halben leiden müssen; daselbst wollen wir bleiben:
15 Na kia rongo koutou aianei, e nga morehu o Hura, ki te kupu a Ihowa, Ko te kupu tenei a Ihowa o nga mano, a te Atua o Iharaira, Ki te maro tonu o koutou kanohi ki te haere ki Ihipa, a ka haere koutou ki reira noho ai;
nun, so höret des HERRN Wort, ihr Übrigen aus Juda! So spricht der HERR Zebaoth, der Gott Israels: Werdet ihr euer Angesicht richten, nach Ägyptenland zu ziehen, daß ihr daselbst bleiben wollet,
16 Na ka mau koutou i te hoari, e wehingia nei e koutou, ki reira, ki te whenua o Ihipa, a ka whaia tatatia koutou e te hemokai, e wehi na koutou, ki reira, ki Ihipa; a ka mate koutou ki reira.
so soll euch das Schwert, vor dem ihr euch fürchtet, in Ägyptenland treffen; und der Hunger, des ihr euch besorget, soll stets hinter euch her sein in Ägypten, und sollet daselbst sterben.
17 Na ka pena nga tangata katoa e naro ana o ratou kanohi ki te haere ki Ihipa ki reira noho ai; ka mate ratou i te hoari, i te hemokai, i te mate uruta: a e kore tetahi o ratou e toe, e mawhiti i te kino e takina mai e ahau ki runga ki a ratou.
Denn sie seien, wer sie wollen, die ihr Angesicht richten, daß sie nach Ägypten ziehen, daselbst zu bleiben, die sollen sterben durchs Schwert, Hunger und Pestilenz; und soll keiner überbleiben noch entrinnen dem Übel, das ich über sie will kommen lassen.
18 Ko te kupu hoki tenei a Ihowa o nga mano, a te Atua o Iharaira; Ka rite ki taku ringihanga i toku riri, i toku weriweri, ki runga ki nga tangata o Hiruharama, ka pena ano taku ringihanga i toku weriweri ki runga ki a koutou, ina tae koutou ki Ih ipa: a hei kohukohutanga, hei hahanitanga; a e kore koutou e kite i tenei wahi a muri atu.
Denn so spricht der HERR Zebaoth, der Gott Israels: Gleichwie mein Zorn und Grimm über die Einwohner zu Jerusalem gegangen ist, so soll er auch über euch gehen, wo ihr nach Ägypten ziehet, daß zum Fluch, zum Wunder, Schwur und Schande werdet und diese Stätte nicht mehr sehen sollet.

Das Wort des HERRN gilt euch, ihr Übrigen aus Juda, daß ihr nicht nach Ägypten ziehet. Darum so wisset, daß ich euch heute bezeuge.
20 Kua tinihanga hoki koutou ki o koutou na wairua ano; i unga hoki koutou i ahau ki a Ihowa, ki to koutou Atua, i ki mai, Inoi mo matou ki a Ihowa, ki to tatou Atua; a, ko nga mea katoa e korerotia e Ihowa, e to tatou Atua, mau e whakaatu ki a mat ou, a ka mahia e matou.
Ihr werdet sonst euer Leben verwahrlosen. Denn ihr habt mich gesandt zum HERRN, eurem Gott, und gesagt: Bitte den HERRN, unsern Gott, für uns; und alles, was der HERR, unser Gott, sagen wird, das zeige uns an, so wollen wir danach tun.
21 Na kua whakaaturia nei e ahau ki a koutou i tenei ra; otira kihai koutou i rongo ki te reo o Ihowa, o to koutou Atua, i nga mea katoa i unga ai ahau e ai ki a koutou.
Das habe ich euch heute zu wissen getan; aber ihr wollt der Stimme des HERRN, eures Gottes, nicht gehorchen noch allem dem, das er mir an euch befohlen hat.
22 Ko tenei, kia tino mohio koutou, tera koutou e mate i te hoari, i te hemokai, i te mate uruta, ki te wahi i hiahia ai koutou kia haere ki reira noho ai.
So sollt ihr nun wissen, daß ihr durchs Schwert, Hunger und Pestilenz sterben müsset an dem Ort, dahin ihr gedenkt zu ziehen, daß ihr daselbst wohnen wollet.
