1 സ്വൎഗ്ഗരാജ്യം മണവാളനെ എതിരേല്പാൻ വിളക്കു എടുത്തുകൊണ്ടു പുറപ്പെട്ട പത്തു കന്യകമാരോടു സദൃശം ആകും.
Then ye kyngdome of heven shalbe lykened vnto. x. virgins which toke their lampes and wet to mete the brydgrome:
2 അവരിൽ അഞ്ചുപേർ ബുദ്ധിയില്ലാത്തവരും അഞ്ചുപേർ ബുദ്ധിയുള്ളവരും ആയിരുന്നു.
fyve of them were folysshe and fyve were wyse.
3 ബുദ്ധിയില്ലാത്തവർ വിളക്കു എടുത്തപ്പോൾ എണ്ണ എടുത്തില്ല.
The folysshe toke their lampes but toke none oyle wt the.
4 ബുദ്ധിയുള്ളവരോ വിളക്കോടുകൂടെ പാത്രത്തിൽ എണ്ണയും എടുത്തു.
But ye wyse tooke oyle wt the in their vesselles wt their lampes also.
5 പിന്നെ മണവാളൻ താമസിക്കുമ്പോൾ എല്ലാവരും മയക്കംപിടിച്ചു ഉറങ്ങി.
Whill the brydgrome taryed all slombred and slepte.
6 അൎദ്ധരാത്രിക്കോ മണവാളൻ വരുന്നു; അവനെ എതിരേല്പാൻ പുറപ്പെടുവിൻ എന്നു ആൎപ്പുവിളി ഉണ്ടായി.
And even at mydnyght there was a crye made: beholde the brydgrome cometh goo out against him.
7 അപ്പോൾ കന്യകമാർ എല്ലാവരും എഴുന്നേറ്റു വിളക്കു തെളിയിച്ചു.
Then all those virgins arose and prepared their lampes.
8 എന്നാൽ ബുദ്ധിയില്ലാത്തവർ ബുദ്ധിയുള്ളവരോടു: ഞങ്ങളുടെ വിളക്കു കെട്ടുപോകുന്നതു കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളുടെ എണ്ണയിൽ കുറെ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു തരുവിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
And ye folysshe sayde to ye wyse: geve vs of youre oyle for our lampes goo out?
9 ബുദ്ധിയുള്ളവർ: ഞങ്ങൾക്കും നിങ്ങൾക്കും പോരാ എന്നു വരാതിരിപ്പാൻ നിങ്ങൾ വില്ക്കുന്നവരുടെ അടുക്കൽ പോയി വാങ്ങിക്കൊൾവിൻ എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.
but ye wyse answered sayinge. Not so lest ther be not ynough for vs and you: but goo rather to them yt sell and by for youre selves.
10 അവർ വാങ്ങുവാൻ പോയപ്പോൾ മണവാളൻ വന്നു; ഒരുങ്ങിയിരുന്നവർ അവനോടുകൂടെ കല്യാണസദ്യെക്കു ചെന്നു; വാതിൽ അടെക്കയും ചെയ്തു.
And whill they went to bye ye brydgrome came: and they yt were redy went in with him to ye weddinge and the gate was shett vp:
11 അതിന്റെ ശേഷം മറ്റെ കന്യകമാരും വന്നു: കൎത്താവേ, കൎത്താവേ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു തുറക്കേണമേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
Afterwardes came also ye other virgins sayinge: master master open to vs.
12 അതിന്നു അവൻ: ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ അറിയുന്നില്ല എന്നു സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
But he answered and sayde: verely I saye vnto you: I knowe not you.
13 ആകയാൽ നാളും നാഴികയും നിങ്ങൾ അറിയായ്കകൊണ്ടു ഉണൎന്നിരിപ്പിൻ.
Watche therefore: for ye knowe nether the daye nor yet the houre when the sonne of man shall come.
14 ഒരു മനുഷ്യൻ പരദേശത്തു പോകുമ്പോൾ ദാസന്മാരെ വിളിച്ചു തന്റെ സമ്പത്തു അവരെ ഏല്പിച്ചു.
Lykwyse as a certeyne ma redy to take his iorney to a straunge coutre called his servautes and delivered to them his gooddes.
15 ഒരുവന്നു അഞ്ചു താലന്തു, ഒരുവന്നു രണ്ടു, ഒരുവന്നു ഒന്നു ഇങ്ങനെ ഒരോരുത്തന്നു അവനവന്റെ പ്രാപ്തിപോലെ കൊടുത്തു യാത്രപുറപ്പെട്ടു.
And vnto one he gave. v. talentes to another. ii. and to another one: to every man after his abilite and streyght waye departed.
16 അഞ്ചു താലന്തു ലഭിച്ചവൻ ഉടനെ ചെന്നു വ്യാപാരം ചെയ്തു വേറെ അഞ്ചു താലന്തു സമ്പാദിച്ചു.
Then he that had receaved the fyve talentes went and bestowed them and wanne other fyve talentes.
17 അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ രണ്ടു താലന്തു ലഭിച്ചവൻ വേറെ രണ്ടു നേടി.
Lykwyse he that receaved. ii. gayned other. ii.
18 ഒന്നു ലഭിച്ചവനോ പോയി നിലത്തു ഒരു കുഴി കുഴിച്ചു യജമാനന്റെ ദ്രവ്യം മറെച്ചുവെച്ചു.
But he yt receaved ye one went and digged a pit in the erth and hyd his masters money.
19 വളരെ കാലം കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം ആ ദാസന്മാരുടെ യജമാനൻ വന്നു അവരുമായി കണക്കു തീൎത്തു.
After a longe season ye lorde of those servauntes came and rekened with the.
20 അഞ്ചു താലന്തു ലഭിച്ചവൻ അടുക്കെ വന്നു വേറെ അഞ്ചു കൂടെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു: യജമാനനേ, അഞ്ചു താലന്തല്ലോ എന്നെ ഏല്പിച്ചതു; ഞാൻ അഞ്ചു താലന്തുകൂടെ നേടിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
Then came he yt had receaved fyve talentes and brought other fyve talentes sayinge: master thou deliveredst vnto one fyve talentes: beholde I have gayned wt the fyve talentes moo.
21 അതിന്നു യജമാനൻ: നന്നു, നല്ലവനും വിശ്വസ്തനുമായ ദാസനേ, നീ അല്പത്തിൽ വിശ്വസ്തനായിരുന്നു; ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അധികത്തിന്നു വിചാരകനാക്കും; നിന്റെ യജമാനന്റെ സന്തോഷത്തിലേക്കു പ്രവേശിക്ക എന്നു അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു.
The his master sayde vnto him: well good servaut and faithfull. Thou hast bene faithfull in lytell I will make the ruler over moche: entre in into thy masters ioye.
22 രണ്ടു താലന്തു ലഭിച്ചവനും അടുക്കെ വന്നു: യജമാനനേ, രണ്ടു താലന്തല്ലോ എന്നെ ഏല്പിച്ചതു; ഞാൻ രണ്ടു താലന്തുകൂടെ നേടിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
Also he that receaved. ii. talentes came and sayde: master thou deliveredest vnto me. ii. talentes: beholde I have wone. ii. other talentes with them.
23 അതിന്നു യജമാനൻ: നന്നു, നല്ലവനും വിശ്വസ്തനുമായ ദാസനേ, നീ അല്പത്തിൽ വിശ്വസ്തനായിരുന്നു; ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അധികത്തിന്നു വിചാരകനാക്കും; നിന്റെ യജമാനന്റെ സന്തോഷത്തിലേക്കു പ്രവേശിക്ക എന്നു അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു.
And his master sayde vnto him well good servaunt and faithfull. Thou hast bene faithfull in lytell I wyll make the ruler over moche: go in into thy masters ioye.
24 ഒരു താലന്തു ലഭിച്ചവനും അടുക്കെ വന്നു: യജമാനനേ, നീ വിതെക്കാത്തേടത്തു നിന്നു കൊയ്യുകയും വിതറാത്തേടത്തു നിന്നു ചേൎക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന കഠിനമനുഷ്യൻ എന്നു ഞാൻ അറിഞ്ഞു
Then he which had receaved ye one talent came and sayd: master I considered yt thou wast an harde man which repest where thou sowedst not and gadderest where thou strawedst not
25 ഭയപ്പെട്ടു ചെന്നു നിന്റെ താലന്തു നിലത്തു മറെച്ചുവെച്ചു; നിന്റേതു ഇതാ, എടുത്തുകൊൾക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
and was therfore afrayde and went and hyd thy talent in ye erth: Beholde thou hast thyn awne.
26 അതിന്നു യജമാനൻ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതു: ദുഷ്ടനും മടിയനും ആയ ദാസനേ, ഞാൻ വിതെക്കാത്തേടത്തു നിന്നു കൊയ്യുകയും വിതറാത്തേടത്തുനിന്നു ചേൎക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ എന്നു നീ അറിഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ.
His master answered and sayde vnto him: thou evyll servaut and slewthfull thou knewest yt I repe where I sowed not and gaddre where I strawed not:
27 നീ എന്റെ ദ്രവ്യം പൊൻവാണിഭക്കാരെ ഏല്പിക്കേണ്ടിയിരുന്നു; എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ വന്നു എന്റേതു പലിശയോടുകൂടെ വാങ്ങിക്കൊള്ളുമായിരുന്നു.
thou oughtest therfore to have had my money to ye chaugers and then at my comynge shulde I have receaved myne awne with vauntage.
28 ആ താലന്തു അവന്റെ പക്കൽനിന്നു എടുത്തു പത്തു താലന്തു ഉള്ളവന്നു കൊടുപ്പിൻ.
Take therfore the talent from him and geve it vnto him which hath. x. talentes.
29 അങ്ങനെ ഉള്ളവന്നു ഏവന്നും ലഭിക്കും; അവന്നു സമൃദ്ധിയും ഉണ്ടാകും; ഇല്ലാത്തവനോടോ ഉള്ളതും കൂടെ എടുത്തുകളയും.
For vnto every man that hath shalbe geven and he shall have aboundance: and from him that hath not shalbe taken awaye even that he hath.
30 എന്നാൽ കൊള്ളരുതാത്ത ദാസനെ ഏറ്റവും പുറത്തുള്ള ഇരുട്ടിലേക്കു തള്ളിക്കളവിൻ; അവിടെ കരച്ചലും പല്ലുകടിയും ഉണ്ടാകും.
And cast yt vnprofitable servaunt into vtter dercknes: there shalbe wepynge and gnasshinge of teeth.
31 മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ തന്റെ തേജസ്സോടെ സകലവിശുദ്ധദൂതന്മാരുമായി വരുമ്പോൾ അവൻ തന്റെ തേജസ്സിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കും.
When the sonne of ma cometh in his glorie and all the holy angels wt him then shall he syt vpon the seate of his glorie
32 സകല ജാതികളെയും അവന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ കൂട്ടും; അവൻ അവരെ ഇടയൻ ചെമ്മരിയാടുകളെയും കോലാടുകളെയും തമ്മിൽ വേർതിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ വേർതിരിച്ചു,
and before him shalbe Gaddred all nacions. And he shall seperate the one from a nother as a shepherde deuideth the shepe from the gootes.
33 ചെമ്മരിയാടുകളെ തന്റെ വലത്തും കോലാടുകളെ ഇടത്തും നിറുത്തും.
And he shall set the shepe on his right honde and the gotes on the lyfte.
34 രാജാവു തന്റെ വലത്തുള്ളവരോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്യും: എന്റെ പിതാവിനാൽ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരേ, വരുവിൻ; ലോകസ്ഥാപനംമുതൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കായി ഒരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്ന രാജ്യം അവകാശമാക്കിക്കൊൾവിൻ.
Then shall the kynge saye to them on his right honde: Come ye blessed chyldren of my father inheret ye the kyngdo prepared for you from the beginninge of the worlde.
35 എനിക്കു വിശന്നു, നിങ്ങൾ ഭക്ഷിപ്പാൻ തന്നു; ദാഹിച്ചു നിങ്ങൾ കുടിപ്പാൻ തന്നു; ഞാൻ അതിഥിയായിരുന്നു, നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ ചേൎത്തുകൊണ്ടു;
For I was anhongred and ye gave me meate. I thursted and ye gave me drinke. I was herbourlesse and ye lodged me.
36 നഗ്നനായിരുന്നു, നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ ഉടുപ്പിച്ചു; രോഗിയായിരുന്നു, നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ കാണ്മാൻ വന്നു; തടവിൽ ആയിരുന്നു, നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു.
I was naked and ye clothed me. I was sicke and ye visited me. I was in preson and ye came vnto me.
37 അതിന്നു നീതിമാന്മാർ അവനോടു: കൎത്താവേ, ഞങ്ങൾ എപ്പോൾ നിന്നെ വിശന്നു കണ്ടിട്ടു ഭക്ഷിപ്പാൻ തരികയോ ദാഹിച്ചു കണ്ടിട്ടു കുടിപ്പാൻ തരികയോ ചെയ്തു?
Then shall ye righteous answere him sayinge master whe sawe we ye anhongred and feed the? or a thurst and gave ye drinke?
38 ഞങ്ങൾ എപ്പോൾ നിന്നെ അതിഥിയായി കണ്ടിട്ടു ചേൎത്തുകൊൾകയോ നഗ്നനായി കണ്ടിട്ടു ഉടുപ്പിക്കയോ ചെയ്തു?
when sawe we ye herbourlesse and lodged the? or naked and clothed the?
39 നിന്നെ രോഗിയായിട്ടോ തടവിലോ എപ്പോൾ കണ്ടിട്ടു ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറയും.
or when sawe we the sicke or in preson and came vnto the?
40 രാജാവു അവരോടു: എന്റെ ഈ ഏറ്റവും ചെറിയ സഹോദരന്മാരിൽ ഒരുത്തന്നു നിങ്ങൾ ചെയ്തേടത്തോളം എല്ലാം എനിക്കു ചെയ്തു എന്നു ഞാൻ സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്യും.
And ye kynge shall answere and saye vnto them: verely I saye vnto you: in as moche as ye have done it vnto one of ye leest of these my brethren ye have done it to me.
41 പിന്നെ അവൻ ഇടത്തുള്ളവരോടു: ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരെ, എന്നെ വിട്ടു പിശാചിന്നും അവന്റെ ദൂതന്മാൎക്കും ഒരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്ന നിത്യാഗ്നിയിലേക്കു പോകുവിൻ. (aiōnios g166)
Then shall the kynge saye vnto them that shalbe on the lyfte hande: departe from me ye coursed into everlastinge fire which is prepared for the devyll and his angels. (aiōnios g166)
42 എനിക്കു വിശന്നു, നിങ്ങൾ ഭക്ഷിപ്പാൻ തന്നില്ല; ദാഹിച്ചു, നിങ്ങൾ കുടിപ്പാൻ തന്നില്ല.
For I was an hungred and ye gave me no meate. I thursted and ye gave me no drinke.
43 അതിഥിയായിരുന്നു, നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ ചേൎത്തുകൊണ്ടില്ല; നഗ്നനായിരുന്നു, നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ ഉടുപ്പിച്ചില്ല; രോഗിയും തടവിലും ആയിരുന്നു, നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ കാണ്മാൻ വന്നില്ല എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്യും.
I was herbourlesse and ye lodged me not. I was naked and ye clothed me not. I was sicke and in preson and ye visited me not.
44 അതിന്നു അവർ: കൎത്താവേ, ഞങ്ങൾ നിന്നെ വിശക്കുന്നവനോ ദാഹിക്കുന്നവനോ അതിഥിയോ നഗ്നനോ രോഗിയോ തടവിലോ ആയി എപ്പോൾ കണ്ടു നിനക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്യാതിരുന്നു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറയും. അവൻ അവരോടു:
Then shall they also answere him sayinge: master when sawe we the an hungred or a thurst or herbourlesse or naked or sicke or in preson and did not ministre vnto the?
45 ഈ ഏറ്റവും ചെറിവരിൽ ഒരുത്തന്നു നിങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യാഞ്ഞേടത്തോളമെല്ലാം എനിക്കു ആകുന്നു ചെയ്യാഞ്ഞതു എന്നു ഞാൻ സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു എന്നു ഉത്തരം അരുളും.
Then shall he answere the and saye: Verely I saye vnto you in as moche as ye did it not to one of ye leest of these ye did it not to me.
