സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 99

1 യഹോവ വാഴുന്നു, രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങൾ വിറയ്ക്കട്ടെ; അവിടന്ന് കെരൂബുകളിൻമീതേ സിംഹാസനസ്ഥനായിരിക്കുന്നു ഭൂമി പ്രകമ്പനംകൊള്ളട്ടെ.

The Lord reigneth, let the people tremble: he sitteth betweene the Cherubims, let the earth be moued.

2 യഹോവ സീയോനിൽ ഉന്നതനാകുന്നു; അവിടന്ന് സകലരാഷ്ട്രങ്ങൾക്കുംമീതേ ഉന്നതനായിരിക്കുന്നു.

The Lord is great in Zion, and he is high aboue all the people.

3 അവർ അവിടത്തെ മഹത്ത്വവും ഭയങ്കരവുമായ നാമത്തെ സ്തുതിക്കട്ടെ— അവിടന്ന് പരിശുദ്ധനാകുന്നു.

They shall prayse thy great and fearefull Name (for it is holy)

4 രാജാവ് ശക്തനാണ്, അവിടന്ന് നീതി ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നു— അങ്ങ് ന്യായം സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അങ്ങ് യാക്കോബിൽ നീതിയും ന്യായവും നടപ്പിലാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

And the Kings power, that loueth iudgement: for thou hast prepared equitie: thou hast executed iudgement and iustice in Iaakob.

5 നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ പുകഴ്ത്തിടുവിൻ അവിടത്തെ പാദപീഠത്തിൽ ആരാധിച്ചിടുവിൻ; അവിടന്ന് പരിശുദ്ധനാകുന്നു.

Exalt the Lord our God, and fall downe before his footestoole: for he is holy.

6 അവിടത്തെ പുരോഹിതവൃന്ദത്തിൽ മോശയും അഹരോനും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു, അവിടത്തെ നാമം വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിച്ചവരിൽ ശമുവേലും; അവർ യഹോവയെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിച്ചു അവിടന്ന് അവർക്ക് ഉത്തരമരുളി.

Moses and Aaron were among his Priests, and Samuel among such as call vpon his Name: these called vpon the Lord, and he heard them.

7 മേഘസ്തംഭത്തിൽനിന്ന് അവിടന്ന് അവർക്ക് അരുളപ്പാടുകൾ നൽകി; അവർ അവർക്കു ലഭിച്ച നിയമവ്യവസ്ഥകളും ഉത്തരവുകളും പാലിച്ചു.

Hee spake vnto them in the cloudie pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the Lawe that he gaue them.

8 ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, അവിടന്ന് അവർക്ക് ഉത്തരമരുളി; ഇസ്രായേലിന്റെ അതിക്രമങ്ങൾക്ക് അവിടന്ന് ശിക്ഷനൽകുമെങ്കിലും അങ്ങ് അവരോടു ക്ഷമിക്കുന്ന ദൈവംകൂടി ആണല്ലോ.

Thou heardest them, O Lord our God: thou wast a fauourable God vnto them, though thou didst take vengeance for their inuentions.

9 നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയെ പുകഴ്ത്തിടുവിൻ തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധപർവതത്തിൽ അവിടത്തെ ആരാധിച്ചിടുവിൻ, കാരണം നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ പരിശുദ്ധനാകുന്നു.

Exalt the Lord our God, and fall downe before his holy Mountaine: for the Lord our God is holy.
