സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 62

1 സംഗീതസംവിധായകന്. യെദൂഥൂന്യരാഗത്തിൽ. ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. ഞാൻ ദൈവത്തിൽമാത്രം വിശ്രമം കണ്ടെത്തുന്നു; എന്റെ രക്ഷ അങ്ങയിൽനിന്ന് വരുന്നു.

To the Chief Musician. On Jeduthun—A Melody of David. Surely, towards God, silence [becometh] my soul, From him, is my salvation:

2 അവിടന്നുമാത്രമാണ് എന്റെ പാറയും രക്ഷയും; അവിടന്നാണ് എന്റെ കോട്ട, ഞാൻ ഒരിക്കലും കുലുങ്ങിപ്പോകുകയില്ല.

Surely, he, is my rock and my salvation, My high tower—I shall not be greatly shaken!

3 ഒരു മനുഷ്യനെ നിങ്ങൾ എത്രകാലം ആക്രമിക്കും? ചാഞ്ഞ മതിലും പൊളിഞ്ഞ വേലിയുംപോലെ നിങ്ങളെല്ലാവരും എന്നെ നിലത്തെറിഞ്ഞുകളയുമോ?

How long will ye shout at a man? Ye shall be crushed all of you, —Like a wall that bulgeth, —a fence pushed in!

4 ഉന്നതസ്ഥാനത്തുനിന്ന് എന്നെ തള്ളിയിടുകയാണ് അവരുടെ ലക്ഷ്യം, അവർ വ്യാജം സംസാരിക്കുന്നതിൽ ആമോദിക്കുന്നു. അധരംകൊണ്ട് അവർ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു, എന്നാൽ അന്തരംഗത്തിൽ അവർ ശാപംചൊരിയുന്നു. (സേലാ)

Surely, from his elevation, they have taken counsel to thrust him down, They accept falsehood, —With his mouth, they each of them bless, But, inwardly, they revile. (Selah)

5 എന്റെ ആത്മാവേ, ദൈവത്തിൽമാത്രം വിശ്രമം കണ്ടെത്തുക; അങ്ങയിലാണ് എന്റെ പ്രത്യാശ.

Surely, towards God, be thou silent, my soul, For, from him, is mine expectation:

6 അവിടന്നുമാത്രമാണ് എന്റെ പാറയും എന്റെ രക്ഷയും; അവിടന്നാണ് എന്റെ കോട്ട, ഞാൻ കുലുങ്ങിപ്പോകുകയില്ല.

Surely, he, is my rock, and my salvation, My high tower—I shall not be shaken!

7 എന്റെ രക്ഷയും എന്റെ മഹത്ത്വവും ദൈവത്തിൽ ആകുന്നു; അവിടന്ന് എന്റെ ശക്തിയുള്ള പാറയും എന്റെ സങ്കേതവും ആകുന്നു.

Upon God, [depend] my salvation and mine honour, My rock of strength, my refuge, are in God.

8 അല്ലയോ ജനമേ, എപ്പോഴും ദൈവത്തിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുക, നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയം അവിടത്തെ മുമ്പിൽ പകരുക, കാരണം നമ്മുടെ സങ്കേതം ദൈവം ആകുന്നു. (സേലാ)

Trust ye in him all ye assembly of the people, Pour out, before him, your heart, God, is a refuge for us. (Selah)

9 ഹീനകുലജന്മം കേവലമൊരു ശ്വാസവും ഉന്നതകുലജന്മം കേവലമൊരു മിഥ്യയും ആകുന്നു. ഒരു തുലാസിൽ തൂക്കിയാൽ അവരുടെ തട്ട് പൊന്തിപ്പോകും; അവരിരുവരും ഒരു ശ്വാസത്തെക്കാൾ ലഘുവാണ്.

Surely, vanity, are men of low degree, Deception, men of high degree, —In the balances, they go up, They, are [made] of vanity, altogether.

10 കൊള്ളപ്പണത്തിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുകയോ മോഷണമുതലിന്മേൽ അഹങ്കരിക്കുകയോ അരുത്; നിന്റെ ധനം അധികരിച്ചാലും, നിന്റെ ഹൃദയം അതിൽ അർപ്പിക്കരുത്.

Do not trust in extortion, Nor, with robbery, become vain, As for wealth, when it beareth fruit, Do not set [thereon your] heart.

11 ദൈവം ഒരു കാര്യം അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു, രണ്ടുതവണ അടിയനത് ശ്രവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു: “ദൈവമേ, ശക്തി അങ്ങേക്കുള്ളതാകുന്നു,

One thing, hath God spoken, Two things, [there are] which I have heard, That, power, belongeth unto God;

12 അചഞ്ചലസ്നേഹവും അങ്ങയിലാണല്ലോ കർത്താവേ; അങ്ങ് ഓരോരുത്തർക്കും പ്രതിഫലംനൽകും അവരവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിക്കനുസൃതമായിട്ടുതന്നെ.”

And, thine, O My Lord, is lovingkindness, —For, thou, wilt pay back unto every man—according to his deed.
