സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 126

1 ആരോഹണഗീതം. യഹോവ സീയോന്റെ ബന്ധിതരെ മടക്കിവരുത്തിയപ്പോൾ, ഞങ്ങൾ സ്വപ്നം കാണുന്നവരെപ്പോലെ ആയിരുന്നു.

A Song of Ascents. When Yahweh brought back the captives of Zion, we were like them who dream:

2 ഞങ്ങളുടെ വായിൽ ചിരിയും ഞങ്ങളുടെ നാവിൽ ആനന്ദഗീതങ്ങളും നിറഞ്ഞു. അപ്പോൾ രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങൾക്കിടയിൽ ഇപ്രകാരം പ്രകീർത്തിക്കപ്പെട്ടു: “യഹോവ അവർക്കുവേണ്ടി വൻകാര്യങ്ങൾ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.”

Then, was our mouth, filled with laughter, and our tongue with a shout of triumph, —Then, said they among the nations, Yahweh, hath done great things, with these!

3 യഹോവ ഞങ്ങൾക്കുവേണ്ടി വൻകാര്യങ്ങൾ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു, ഞങ്ങൾ ആനന്ദാതിരേകത്താൽ തുള്ളിച്ചാടുന്നു.

Yahweh, hath done great things with us, we are full of joy!

4 യഹോവേ, തെക്കേദേശത്തിലെ തോടുകളെ എന്നപോലെ, ഞങ്ങളുടെ ബന്ധിതരെ മടക്കിവരുത്തണമേ.

Bring thou back, O Yahweh, our captives, like channels in the South.

5 കണ്ണുനീരോടെ വിതയ്ക്കുന്നവർ ആനന്ദഘോഷത്തോടെ കൊയ്തെടുക്കും.

They who are sowing with tears, with shouting, shall reap:

6 വിതയ്ക്കാനുള്ള വിത്തു ചുമന്നുകൊണ്ട്, കണ്ണുനീരോടെ നടക്കുന്നവർ, കറ്റകൾ ചുമന്നുകൊണ്ട് ആനന്ദഗീതം പാടി മടങ്ങുന്നു.

He that, doth indeed go forth, and weep, bearing seed enough to trail along, doth, surely come in, with shouting, bringing his sheaves.
