< Salamo 4 >

1 Ry Andrianañaharen-kavañonako toiño iraho te mikanjy Azo fa Ihe ty nañivake ho ahy te nalovilovy; isoho vaho janjiño o halalikoo.
For the Chief Musician; on stringed instruments. A Psalm by David. Answer me when I call, God of my righteousness. Give me relief from my distress. Have mercy on me, and hear my prayer.
2 O ry ana’ondatio, Sikala ‘mbia ro hafote’ areo ho inje ty asiko? ty hikoko ty tsy vente’e, hitsoeke ty famañahiañe? Selà
You sons of men, how long shall my glory be turned into dishonour? Will you love vanity and seek after falsehood? (Selah)
3 Fe fohino te navaha’ Iehovà ho ama’e i vañoñey; ho janjiñe’ Iehovà te kanjieko.
But know that the LORD has set apart for himself him who is godly; The LORD will hear when I call to him.
4 Minevenevera, le ko mandilatse; mañereñerea añ’arofo an-tihi’o eo, vaho mianjiña. Selà
Stand in awe, and don’t sin. Search your own heart on your bed, and be still. (Selah)
5 Mañengà soron-kavantañañe, vaho miatoa am’Iehovà.
Offer the sacrifices of righteousness. Put your trust in the LORD.
6 Maro ty mivola: Ia ty hampiboake hasoa amantika? Ry Iehovà, onjono ama’ay ty hazavan-dahara’o.
Many say, “Who will show us any good?” LORD, let the light of your face shine on us.
7 Ihe nampipoke haehake an-troko ao, mandikoatse te an-tsàm-pamokara’ iareo ampemba naho divay.
You have put gladness in my heart, more than when their grain and their new wine are increased.
8 Hàndre an-kanintsin-draho le hiroro amy te Ihe avao ry Iehovà ro mampimoneñe ahy am-pitsolohañe.
In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you alone, LORD, make me live in safety.
