< Salamo 31 >
1 Ama’o ao, ry Iehovà, ty fitsolohako; ko apoho ho salaren-ka, hahao amo havantaña’oo.
A psalm of David. For the music director. Lord, you are the one who keeps me safe; please don't let me ever be humiliated. Save me, because you always do what is right.
2 Atokilaño amako ty ravembia’o, imbao masìka, t’ie ho lamilamy fipalirako, kijolim-pandrombahañe ahy.
Please listen to me, and be quick to rescue me. Be my rock of protection, my strong fortress of safety.
3 Toe Ihe ro lamilamiko naho kijoliko; i Tahina’oy ro hanehake naho hiaolo ahy.
You are my rock and my fortress. For the sake of your reputation, please lead me and guide me.
4 Akaro amy harato naeta’iareo amakoy, amy te Ihe ro fitsolohako.
Help me escape from the hidden net that they set to trap me, for you are the one who protects me.
5 Am-pità’o ao ro anolorako troke, fa nijebañe ahy irehe ry Iehovà, Andrianañaharen-kavantañañe.
I put myself in your hands. Save me, Lord, for you are a trustworthy God.
6 Hejeko o mpañaoñe ty hakoafan-dRemborakeo; Iehovà ro iatoako.
I hate those who devote themselves to pointless idols; I trust in the Lord.
7 Hifale naho hirebeke amo fiferenaiña’oo iraho, fa nihaoñe’o o hasotriakoo; naho niarofoana’o ty haferenaiñako,
I will celebrate, happy in your love that never fails, for you have seen the problems I face and have paid attention to my troubles.
8 tsy napo’o an-tañan-drafelahiko ao; fa navotra’o an-tane mangadagadañe eo o tombokoo.
You haven't handed me over to my enemies; you have set me free.
9 Tretrezo ry Iehovà, fa tokoen-draha; nabotsem-pihontoke o masokoo, eka, ty fiaiko naho ty sandriko.
Be kind to me Lord, for I am upset. I can hardly see from so much crying. I am completely wasting away.
10 Fa nirì-ty hontoke ty fiaiko, naho ty fiselekaiñañe o taokoo, milesa ty haozarako ty amo tahikoo, vaho minike o taolakoo.
Grief is killing me; my life is cut short by sadness; I am falling apart because of my troubles; I am worn to the bone.
11 Toe finjèn-draho ty amo rafelahikoo, mentsake o mpiharo-tanàñ’ amakoo, fañembañañe o rañekoo, mibotitsik’ amako ze mahaoniñ’ahy an-dalañe ey.
I am ridiculed by my enemies, particularly by my neighbors. My friends dread meeting me; people who see me in the street run the other way.
12 Haliño hoe lolo iraho, tsy amam-betsevetse; manahake ty karabiba.
I have been forgotten as if I were dead; I'm ignored like a broken pot.
13 Tsinanoko ty bisibisi’ i màroy, harevendreveñañe mb’etia mb’atia, mikinia ahy, ikililia’e ty hañè-doza amako.
I hear many people whispering about me; terror surrounds me. They plot together against me, planning to kill me.
14 Fe izaho, Ihe ro fiatoako ry Iehovà hoe iraho: Ihe ro Andrianañahareko.
But I put my trust in you, Lord, saying, “You are my God!”
15 Am-pità’o o androkoo; avotsoro an-taña’ o rafelahikoo, naho amo mpanao samporerakeo.
My whole life is in your hands! Save me from those who hate me and persecute me!
16 Ampaviaho amy mpitoro’oy ty lahara’o; hahao amo fiferenaiña’oo.
May you look kindly on me, your servant. Save me because of your trustworthy love.
17 Ko apo’o ho salaren-draho ry Iehovà, fa mikanjy Azo, fe meñaro o lo tserekeo, ampitsiño an-tsikeokeok’ ao. (Sheol )
Lord, don't let me be disgraced, for I'm calling out to you. Instead let the wicked be disgraced, let them be silent in the grave. (Sheol )
18 Hampianjiñeñe o famelen-dremborake manotratsotrake o vantañeo ie mirengevoke naho mañinje.
Shut the mouths of those who tell lies against good people—those who speak contemptuously in their pride and arrogance!
19 Akore ty harà’ elahin-kasoa’o nahaja’o ho amo mañeveñ’ama’oo, ie nitsene’o ho amo mpitsolok’ ama’o añatrefam-pihaino’ o ana’ondatio!
How wonderful is the goodness you have reserved for those who honor you! In front of everyone you give this goodness to those who come to you for help.
20 Akafi’o am-pipalirañe añatrefa’o iereo, ami’ty fikililia’ ondatio; ampitsolohe’o an-kivoho ao tsy ho vorehe’ o famelekeo.
You shelter and protect them with your presence, far from their enemies who scheme against them. You keep them safe from attacks and accusations.
21 Andriañeñe t’Iehovà, fa nilosore’e amako ty fiferenaiña’e, an-drova niarikatoheñe.
Bless the Lord, for he has shown me his wonderful trustworthy love when my city was being attacked
22 Aa naho izaho, hoe iraho te niendrake: ho naitoañe aolom-pihaino’o eo. fe jinanji’o ty fivolan-kalaliko, te nikaiheko.
Terrified I cried out, “I am being destroyed right in front of you!” But you heard my cry when I called out for you to help me.
23 Kokò t’Iehovà ry noro’e iabio, arova’ Iehovà o migahiñeo, vaho avarigidi’e amo mpievoñevoñeo ty avake.
Love the Lord, all you who trust in him! The Lord takes care of those who trust him, but he pays back in full those who are arrogant.
24 Mihaozara naho mihafatrara arofo ry hene mpitamà Iehovà.
Be strong and be confident, all you who put your hope in the Lord.
