1 Nifanontoñe e Silò i valobohò’ o ana’Israeleoy vaho natroa’ iereo i kibohom-pamantañañey, naho fa niambaneañe i taney.
The whole congregation of the children of Israel assembled themselves together at Shiloh, and set up the Tent of Meeting there. The land was subdued before them.
2 Fifokoañe fito amo ana’ Israeleo ty nisisa mboe tsy nandrambe o lova’eo.
Seven tribes remained amongst the children of Israel, which had not yet divided their inheritance.
3 Le hoe t’Iehosoa amo ana’ Israeleo, Pak’ ombia t’ie mbe hihànkañe, tsy hizilike hitavañe i tane nitolora’ Iehovà Andrianañaharen-droae’ areoy?
Joshua said to the children of Israel, “How long will you neglect to go in to possess the land, which the LORD, the God of your fathers, has given you?
4 Anoloro ondaty telo ia’ o fifokoa’ areoo, hañirahako; hionjoñe mb’eo mb’eo amy taney hanokitse aze ty amo lovao; vaho himpoly amako.
Appoint for yourselves three men from each tribe. I will send them, and they shall arise, walk through the land, and describe it according to their inheritance; then they shall come to me.
5 Ho zarae’ iereo fito; himoneñe an-tane’e atimo ey t’Iehodà, vaho himoneñe an-tane’ iareo avaratse ey ty anjomba’ Iosefe.
They shall divide it into seven portions. Judah shall live in his borders on the south, and the house of Joseph shall live in their borders on the north.
6 Sokire’ areo fito i taney vaho handese’ areo atoy le ho zaraeko an-tsapak’ añatrefa’ Iehovà Andrianañaharen-tika.
You shall survey the land into seven parts, and bring the description here to me; and I will cast lots for you here before the LORD our God.
7 Toe tsy hanañ’ anjara ama’ areo o nte-Levio, amy te lova’ iareo ty fisoroña’ Iehovà; naho rinambe’ i Gade naho i Reobene vaho ty vakim-pifokoa’ i Menasè i lova natolo’ i Mosè mpitoro’ Iehovà iareo alafe’ Iardene atiñanañey.
However, the Levites have no portion amongst you; for the priesthood of the LORD is their inheritance. Gad, Reuben, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance east of the Jordan, which Moses the servant of the LORD gave them.”
8 Aa le niongake indaty rey vaho nionjoñe mb’eo; toe nafanto’ Iehosoa i nimb’eo hamolily i taney rey ami’ty hoe, Akia, tsitsifo fañaveloañe i taney hamoliliañe aze naho mibaliha amako hanjaràko aze an-tsapake ho anahareo añatrefa’ Iehovà e Silò etoa.
The men arose and went. Joshua commanded those who went to survey the land, saying, “Go walk through the land, survey it, and come again to me. I will cast lots for you here before the LORD in Shiloh.”
9 Aa le nienga nanitsike i taney i lahilahy rey; sinoki’ iareo am-boke ty ho anjara fito ty amo rova’eo naho nibalike mb’ am’ Iehosoa an-tobe e Silò mb’eo.
The men went and passed through the land, and surveyed it by cities into seven portions in a book. They came to Joshua to the camp at Shiloh.
10 Le nanao tsatopiso ho a iareo añatrefa’ Iehovà e Silò ao t’Iehosoa; vaho zinara’ Iehosoa amo ana’ Israeleo i taney ty amo fifokoa’ iareoo.
Joshua cast lots for them in Shiloh before the LORD. There Joshua divided the land to the children of Israel according to their divisions.
11 Niazo’ i fifokoa’ o ana’ i Beniamineoy ty amo hasavereña’eo an-tsapake ty anjara tane’ iareo añivo’ o ana’ Iehodao naho o ana’ Iosefeo.
The lot of the tribe of the children of Benjamin came up according to their families. The border of their lot went out between the children of Judah and the children of Joseph.
12 Nifototse am’ Iardeney ty efe’ iareo avaratse, le mioza ami’ty avara’ Ieriko i efetsey, mañambone’ o vohibohitseo mañandrefa vaho mandoak’ am-patrambei’ i Beitavene;
Their border on the north quarter was from the Jordan. The border went up to the side of Jericho on the north, and went up through the hill country westward. It ended at the wilderness of Beth Aven.
13 boak’ao, miranga mb’e Loze i efetsey, mioza ami’ty ila’ i Loze atao Betele mañatimo. Mizotso mb’e Atarotadare i efetsey mañarine i vohitse atimo’ i Bete-korone ambaney mb’eo.
The border passed along from there to Luz, to the side of Luz (also called Bethel), southward. The border went down to Ataroth Addar, by the mountain that lies on the south of Beth Horon the lower.
14 Miolak’ amy zao i efetsey miary mañatimo ahandrefa’ i vohitse añatrefa’ ty atimo’ i Bete-koroney vaho mandoake e Kiriate-baale, atao Kiriat-iarime, rova’ o ana’ Iehodao. Izay ty efe’e ahandrefa.
The border extended, and turned around on the west quarter southward, from the mountain that lies before Beth Horon southward; and ended at Kiriath Baal (also called Kiriath Jearim), a city of the children of Judah. This was the west quarter.
15 Añ’ila’ i Kiriat-iarime ey ty efe’e atimo, mañandrefa amy zao i efetsey mandoak’ an-drano manganahana’ i Nefotoà;
The south quarter was from the farthest part of Kiriath Jearim. The border went out westward, and went out to the spring of the waters of Nephtoah.
16 mizotso mb’añ’olo’ i vohitse aolo’ ty vavatane’ i ana’ i Hinomey mb’eo i efetsey, ie i vavatane’ o nte-Refao, mañavaratse, naho mizotso mb’am-bavatane’ i Hinome mb’ añ’ olo’ ty tazoa’ i nte-Iebosiý mañatimo, vaho mizotso mb’e En-Rogele mb’eo;
The border went down to the farthest part of the mountain that lies before the valley of the son of Hinnom, which is in the valley of Rephaim northward. It went down to the valley of Hinnom, to the side of the Jebusite southward, and went down to En Rogel.
17 le sinokitse mañavaratse le nimb’ En-semese, naho nitohy mb’e Geliote tandrife ty fitroara’ i Adomime vaho mizotso mb’amy vato’ i Bohane, ana’ i Reobeney mb’eo,
It extended northward, went out at En Shemesh, and went out to Geliloth, which is opposite the ascent of Adummim. It went down to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben.
18 le mb’añ’ila avara’ i Bete-Arabày naho mizotso mb’añ’Arabà mb’eo;
It passed along to the side opposite the Arabah northward, and went down to the Arabah.
19 naho mb’ añ’ila’ i Bete-koglà mañavaratse mb’eo i efetsey vaho mandoak’ am-pitolihañe avara’ i riake Siray, am-binañe’ Iardene atimoy; izay ty efe’e atimo.
The border passed along to the side of Beth Hoglah northward; and the border ended at the north bay of the Salt Sea, at the south end of the Jordan. This was the south border.
20 Iardeney ka ty efe’e atiñanañe, izay ty lova’ o ana’ i Beniamineo, ty amo efe’e miarikatok’ azeo, ty amo hasavereña’eo.
The Jordan was its border on the east quarter. This was the inheritance of the children of Benjamin, by the borders around it, according to their families.
21 O rova’ i fifokoa’ o ana’ i Beniamineo ty amo hasavereña’eo: Ieriko, i Bete-koglà naho ty vavatane Kezize,
Now the cities of the tribe of the children of Benjamin according to their families were Jericho, Beth Hoglah, Emek Keziz,
22 i Bete-Arabà naho i Zemaraime naho i Betele
Beth Arabah, Zemaraim, Bethel,
23 naho i Avime naho i Parà naho i Oprà
Avvim, Parah, Ophrah,
24 naho i Kefar-kaamonay naho i Ofný vaho i Gabà; rova folo-ro’ amby rekets’ o tanà’eo.
Chephar Ammoni, Ophni, and Geba; twelve cities with their villages.
25 I Gibone naho Ramà naho i Birote
Gibeon, Ramah, Beeroth,
26 naho i Mitspè naho i Kefirà naho i Motsà
Mizpeh, Chephirah, Mozah,
27 naho i Rekeme naho Irpile naho i Taralà
Rekem, Irpeel, Taralah,
28 naho i Tselà naho i Elefe naho Iebosý, toe Ierosalaime, i Gibeate naho i Kiriate: rova folo-efats’amby rekets’ o tanà’eo. Ie o rovan’ ana’ i Beniamineo ty amo hasavereña’eo.
Zelah, Eleph, the Jebusite (also called Jerusalem), Gibeath, and Kiriath; fourteen cities with their villages. This is the inheritance of the children of Benjamin according to their families.
