< Daniela 7 >
1 Amy taom-baloha’ i Belsatsare mpanjaka’ i Baveley, nahaoniñe nofy naho aroñaroñe añ’ambone’e, am-pandrea’e ao t’i Daniele; sinoki’e i nofiy vaho mitalily o renen-tsara’eo.
In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters.
2 Hoe t’i Daniele: Nitreako añ’ aroñaron-kaleñe, te inge nitorotositse amy riake jabajabay ty tiok’efa’ i likerañey.
Daniel spoke and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of heaven strove upon the great sea.
3 Le niakatse amy riakey ty biby ra’elahy efatse, tsy nifanahake.
And four great beasts came up from the sea, different one from another.
4 Hoe liona reketse elam-bantio ty valoha’e; nañente iraho ampara’ te nonorañe o ela’eo, naho nongaheñe an-tane eo, naho nampijohañañe an-tombo’e hoe ondaty vaho tinolotse fo’ondaty.
The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: I beheld till its wings were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made to stand upon the feet as a man, and a man’s heart was given to it.
5 Indroañe ty biby faharoe hoe dobe, nivoalatse ami’ty ila’e raike, le tam-bava’e ao, tañivo’ o nife’eo ty pake telo; vaho hoe ty tsinara ama’e: Miongaha, mampibotseha nofotse tsifotofoto.
And behold another beast, a second, like a bear, and it raised itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus to it, Arise, devour much flesh.
6 Modo izay le nahatrea raike ka, hoe nemare, ninday elam-boroñe efatse an-dambosi’e eo; efatse ka ty loha’ i bibiy, vaho nimean-dily.
After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.
7 Ie añe, le nitreako añ’ aroñaron-kaleñe te inge ty biby fahefatse mampangebahebake naho mampirevendreveñe naho loho maozatse; ama’ nife viñe jabajaba, mampibotseke, mampipozake vaho mandialia ty sisa o tombo’eo; miambak’ amo biby taoloo re, ie aman-tsifa folo.
After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and broke in pieces, and stamped the remainder with its feet: and it was different from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.
8 Hinaraharako o tsifa’eo, le hehe te nipotitsik’ añivo’ o ila’eo ty tsifa kedekede, le nombotañe añatrefa’e eo ty tsifa’e telo teo; le hehek’ ami’ty tsifa toy ty maso manahake ty fihaino’ ondaty, naho vava mivolam-pirengetañe.
I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking great things.
9 Nañente iraho ampara’ te nampivotrahañe fiambesatse, naho niambesatse i Haehaey, foty matsatsaoke hoe volovaso o saro’eo vaho hoe volon’ añondry ki’e o maroin’añambone’eo; mirebareba lel’afo i fiambesa’ey, afo misolebatse o larô’eo.
I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.
10 Mikararàke boak’ ama’e ty oñe afo; arivo añ’arivo’e ty niatrak’ aze, ale añ’ale’e ty nijohañe añatrefa’e; najadoñe i zakay vaho sinokake o bokeo.
A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered to him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.
11 Nisamba avao iraho, ty amy feo-pivolam-pirengevohañe nivolàñe’ i tsifaiy; nañente ampara’ te vinono i bibiy naho niantantiritse i sandri’ey vaho natolotse ho sodorañe añ’afo.
I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spoke: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.
12 Nafahañe amo biby ila’eo ty lili’ iareo, f’ie tinovoñ’ andro naho sa hivelomañe.
As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.
13 Nitolom-pañente añ’ aroñaron-kalen-draho ampara’ te indroañ’ an-drahon-dikerañe ty nimb’eo manahake ty Ana’ondaty, Nimb’amy Haehaey, vaho nampañatrefeñe ama’e.
I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
14 Le nitoloran-dily naho asiñe vaho ty fifeheañe. Hitoroña’ ze kila ondaty, fifeheañe naho fameleke. Fandiliañe nainai’e tsy ho modo i fandilia’ey; vaho tsy mbia harotsake i fifehea’ey.
And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
15 Nihohokòhok’ an-troke ao, izaho Daniele vaho nañembañ’ ahy o aroñaron-dohakoo.
I Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me.
16 Niharineako ty raike amo nijohajohañeo vaho nañontaneako ty dika tò i hoe zay iaby. Aa le nitaroñe’e naho nirazañe’e amako.
I came near to one of them that stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things.
17 Fifeheañe efatse i biby jabajaba efatse hitroatse boak’an-tane atoy rey.
These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth.
18 Fe ho rambese’ o noro’ i Abo Tiañeio i fifeheañey vaho ho fanaña’ iareo nainai’e, toe an-tsa-an-tsa i fifeheañey.
But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.
19 Ie amy zay te ho nahafohiñe ty hatò’ i biby fahefatsey iraho, i niambak’ amy ila’e iaby reiy. Nampirevendreveñe; viñe o nife’eo naho torisìke o hoho’eo. Nabotse’e naho dinemo’e vaho linialia’ ty tombo’e ze nisisa;
Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast, which was different from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, broke in pieces, and stamped the remainder with his feet;
20 naho o tsifa folo an-doha’eo naho i tsifa nipotìtse vaho nampihintsañe i telo ila’e reiy, i nanañe maso naho vava hivolaña’e raha mahasintoñey, i hoe zoke’ i ila’e reiy te henteañe.
And of the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spoke very great things, whose look was more stout than his fellows.
21 Nitolom-pisamba iraho le nialy amo noro’eo i tsifay naho nahagioke
I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;
22 ampara’ te niavy i Haehaey, vaho nimean-to o noro’ i Andindimoneñeio. Totsak’ amy zao ty sa’ nampanañañe o noro’eo i fifeheañey.
Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.
23 Inao ty talili’e: Ho fifeheañe fah’efatse an-tane atoy i biby fahefatsey; hiambak’ amo fifeheañe iabio, fa fonga habotse’e ty tane toy, le ho lialia’e, vaho ho demohe’e.
Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be different from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.
24 Mpanjaka folo ty hitroatse amy tsifa folo rey; eo ka ty hitroatse hanonjohy iereo, naho hiambak’ amo taoloo vaho hafotsa’e ty mpanjaka telo.
And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be different from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.
25 Hiteratera i Andindimoneñey re, naho ho mokore’e o noro’ i Abo Tiañeo vaho hikinia hañova sa naho lily, vaho hatolotse am-pità’e iereo handritse ty sa naho o sa-o vaho ty vakin-tsa.
And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
26 Fe hajadoñe ty zaka, le hasintak’ ama’e ty lili’e, vaho ho vata’e rotsaheñe ho mongoreñe kitro katroke.
But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it to the end.
27 Hatolotse am’ondati’ noro’ i Andindimoneñeio i fifeheañey naho ty lily naho ty enge’ ze hene fifeheañe ambanen-dikerañe. Ho nainai’e ty fifehea’iareo; songa hitoroñe naho hivohotse am’iareo ze kila fifelehañe.
And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.
28 Nigadoñe eo i fandrazañañey, le nirevendreveñe am-pitsakoreako ao, izaho, Daniele, naho nikofoty ty vintako, fe nifaharako an-trok’ ao i entañe zay.
Here is the end of the matter. As for me Daniel, my thoughts much troubled me, and my countenance changed in me: but I kept the matter in my heart.
