1 Salamo. Tonon-kira hatao amin’ ny andro Sabata. Tsara ny hidera an’ i Jehovah Sy ny hankalaza ny anaranao, ry Avo Indrindra ô,
A Psalm of a Song for the Sabbath-day. It is a good thing to give thanks to the Lord, and to sing praises to your name, O you Most High;
2 Ary hanambara ny famindram-ponao nony maraina Sy ny fahamarinanao nony alina,
to proclaim your mercy in the morning, and your truth by night,
3 Amin’ ny valiha tory folo Sy amin’ ny feon-dokanga.
on a lute of ten strings, with a song on the harp.
4 Fa ampifalinao amin’ ny nataonao aho Jehovah ô; Ny asan’ ny tananao no hihobiako.
For you, O Lord, have made me glad with your work: and in the operations of your hands will I exult.
5 Jehovah ô, akory ny halehiben’ ny asanao! Lalina indrindra ny fisainanao.
How have your works been magnified, O Lord! your thoughts are very deep.
6 Ny ketrina tsy mahafantatra izany, Ary ny adala koa tsy mba mahalala.
A foolish man will not know, and a senseless man will not understand this.
7 Raha mitsiry tahaka ny ahitra ny ratsy fanahy, Ary mamony ny mpanao ratsy rehetra, Dia izany no ho fandringanana azy mandrakizay.
When the sinners spring up as the grass, and all the workers of iniquity have watched; [it is] that they may be utterly destroyed for ever.
8 Nefa Hianao, Jehovah ô, dia avo mandrakizay.
But you, O Lord, are most high for ever.
9 Fa, indreo, ny fahavalonao, Jehovah ô, Fa, indreo, ringana ny fahavalonao; Mihahaka ny mpanao ratsy rehetra.
For, behold, your enemies shall perish; and all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.
10 Fa ny tandroko kosa asandratrao ho tahaka ny an’ ny ombimanga; Mihosotra diloilo vaovao aho.
But my horn shall be exalted [as the horn] of a unicorn; and mine old age with rich mercy.
11 Ary faly ny masoko mahita ny amin’ ny fahavaloko, Ary finaritra ny sofiko mandre ny amin’ ny ratsy fanahy izay efa mitsangana hamely ahy.
And mine eye has seen mine enemies, and mine ear shall hear the wicked that rise up against me.
12 Ny marina hamololona tahaka ny rofia; Hisandrahaka tahaka ny sedera any Libanona izy;
The righteous shall flourish as a palm tree: he shall be increased as the cedar in Libanus.
13 Efa nambolena tao an-tranon’ i Jehovah izy Ka maniry eo an-kianjan’ Andriamanitsika;
They that are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.
14 Mbola manorobona ihany izy, na dia efa antitra aza; Dofodofotra sy maitso izy,
Then shall they be increased in a fine old age; and they shall be prosperous; that they may declare
15 Mba hanambara fa mahitsy Jehovah, Vatolampiko Izay tsy misy tsiny.
that the Lord my God is righteous, and there is no iniquity in him.
