< Marka 7 >
1 Ary niangona teo aminy ny Fariseo sy ny mpanora-dalàna sasany, izay avy tany Jerosalema
And the Pharisees and some of the scribes, arriving from Jerusalem, gathered together before him.
2 ka nahita ny mpianatra sasany fa nihinan-kanina tamin’ ny tanana tsy madio, izany hoe, tsy voasasa.
And when they had seen certain ones from his disciples eating bread with common hands, that is, with unwashed hands, they disparaged them.
3 (Fa ny Fariseo sy ny Jiosy rehetra tsy mba mihinana, raha tsy efa manasa tsara ny tànany, satria mitàna ny fampianarana voatolotry ny razana izy.
For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, do not eat without repeatedly washing their hands, holding to the tradition of the elders.
4 Ary raha avy any an-tsena, dia tsy mihinana izy, raha tsy misasa aloha. Ary misy fomba maro koa izay noraisiny hotanana, dia ny manasa kapoaka sy famarana mbamin’ izay fanaka varahina.)
And when returning from the market, unless they wash, they do not eat. And there are many other things which have been handed down to them to observe: the washings of cups, and pitchers, and bronze containers, and beds.
5 Dia nanontany Azy ny Fariseo sy ny mpanora-dalàna hoe: Nahoana ny mpianatrao no tsy manaraka ny fampianarana voatolotry ny razana, fa mihinan-kanina amin’ ny tanana tsy misasa izy?
And so the Pharisees and the scribes questioned him: “Why do your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but they eat bread with common hands?”
6 Fa Jesosy nanao taminy hoe: Marina ny naminanian’ Isaia anareo mpihatsaravelatsihy, araka ny voasoratra hoe: Ity firenena ity manaja Ahy amin’ ny molony, Fa ny fony kosa lavitra Ahy.
But in response, he said to them: “So well did Isaiah prophesy about you hypocrites, just as it has been written: ‘This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
7 Koa foana ny ivavahan’ ireo amiko, Raha mampianatra ny didin’ olombelona ho fampianarana izy.
And in vain do they worship me, teaching the doctrines and precepts of men.’
8 Mahafoy ny didin’ Andriamanitra ianareo ka mitana ny fanaon’ ny olona.
For abandoning the commandment of God, you hold to the tradition of men, to the washing of pitchers and cups. And you do many other things similar to these.”
9 Ary hoy koa Izy taminy: Hay! tsara ny nahafoizanareo ny didin’ Andriamanitra mba hitandremanareo ny fampianarana voatolotra anareo!
And he said to them: “You effectively nullify the precept of God, so that you may observe your own tradition.
10 Fa hoy Mosesy: Manajà ny rainao sy ny reninao, ary koa: Izay miteny ratsy ny rainy sy ny reniny dia hatao maty tokoa.
For Moses said: ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘Whoever will have cursed father or mother, let him die a death.’
11 Fa hoy kosa ianareo: Raha misy olona milaza amin’ ny rainy na amin’ ny reniny hoe: Efa korbana (izany hoe, fanatitra ho an’ Andriamanitra) izay rehetra tokony hahazoanao soa avy amiko,
But you say, ‘If a man will have said to his father or mother: Korban, (which is a gift) whatever is from me will be to your benefit,’
12 dia tsy avelanareo hanao na inona na inona ho an’ ny rainy sy ny reniny intsony izy,
then you do not release him to do anything for his father or mother,
13 ka dia foananareo ny tenin’ Andriamanitra amin’ ny fampianarana voatolotra anareo, izay nasainareo hotandremana; ary zavatra maro mifanahatahaka amin’ izany koa no ataonareo.
rescinding the word of God through your tradition, which you have handed down. And you do many other similar things in this way.”
14 Ary niantso ny vahoaka hankeo aminy indray Izy ka nanao taminy hoe: Mihainoa Ahy ianareo rehetra, ka mahafantara.
And again, calling the crowd to him, he said to them: “Listen to me, all of you, and understand.
15 Fa tsy ny zavatra avy eo ivelany izay miditra ao anatin’ ny olona no mahaloto azy; fa izay mivoaka avy ao anatin’ ny olona no mahaloto azy.
There is nothing from outside a man which, by entering into him, is able to defile him. But the things which proceed from a man, these are what pollute a man.
Whoever has ears to hear, let him hear.”
17 Ary rehefa niala teo amin’ ny vahoaka Izy ka niditra tao an-trano, dia nanontany Azy ny mpianany ny amin’ izany fanoharana izany.
And when he had entered into the house, away from the crowd, his disciples questioned him about the parable.
18 Ary hoy Izy taminy: Hay! ianareo koa aza mba tsy mahafantatra! Tsy fantatrareo va fa izay rehetra eo ivelan’ ny olona ka miditra ao anatiny dia tsy mahaloto azy,
And he said to them: “So, are you also without prudence? Do you not understand that everything entering to a man from outside is not able to pollute him?
19 satria tsy miditra ao am-pony izany, fa ao an-kibony ihany, ka dia mivoaka ao amin’ ny fivoahana; izany no nolazainy mba hahadio ny hanina rehetra.
For it does not enter into his heart, but into the gut, and it exits into the sewer, purging all foods.”
20 Ary hoy Izy: Izay mivoaka avy ao amin’ ny olona, dia izany no mahaloto azy.
“But,” he said “the things which go out from a man, these pollute a man.
21 Fa avy ao anatin’ ny olona dia avy ao am-pony, no ivoahan’ ny sain-dratsy, dia ny fijangajangana, ny halatra, ny vonoan-olona, ny fakam-badin’ olona,
For from within, from the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
22 ny fieremana, ny lolom-po, ny fitaka, ny fijejojejoana, ny maso ratsy, ny fitenenan-dratsy, ny avonavona, ny fahadalana:
thefts, avarice, wickedness, deceitfulness, homosexuality, an evil eye, blasphemy, self-exaltation, foolishness.
23 izany zava-dratsy rehetra izany no mivoaka avy ao anatin’ ny olona ka mahaloto azy.
All these evils proceed from within and pollute a man.”
24 Ary niala teo Jesosy ka lasa nankany amin’ ny sisin-tanin’ i Tyro sy Sidona; dia niditra tao an-trano Izy, ary tiany tsy ho fantatry ny olona izany; kanefa tsy nahazo niery Izy.
And rising up, he went from there to the area of Tyre and Sidon. And entering into a house, he intended no one to know about it, but he was not able to remain hidden.
25 Fa niaraka tamin’ izay dia nisy vehivavy anankiray nandre ny aminy (ny zananivavy tanora dia azom-panahy maloto), dia nankao ka niankohoka tamin’ ny tongony.
For a woman whose daughter had an unclean spirit, as soon as she heard about him, entered and fell prostrate at his feet.
26 Ary jentilisa ravehivavy, avy amin’ ny firenena Syro-foinika; dia nangataka taminy izy mba hamoaka ny demonia amin’ ny zananivavy.
For the woman was a Gentile, by birth a Syro-Phoenician. And she petitioned him, so that he would cast the demon from her daughter.
27 Fa hoy Jesosy taminy: Aoka ho voky aloha ny zaza; fa tsy mety raha maka ny mofon-jaza ka manipy azy ho an’ ny amboakely.
And he said to her: “First allow the sons to have their fill. For it is not good to take away the bread of the sons and throw it to the dogs.”
28 Fa ravehivavy namaly ka nanao taminy hoe: Eny, Tompoko; kanefa na dia ny amboakely ao ambanin’ ny latabatra aza dia mba mihinana ny sombintsombin’ ny mofon-jaza ihany.
But she responded by saying to him: “Certainly, Lord. Yet the young dogs also eat, under the table, from the crumbs of the children.”
29 Dia hoy Jesosy taminy: Noho izany teny izany mandehana ianao; efa nivoaka tamin’ ny zanakao-vavy ny demonia.
And he said to her, “Because of this saying, go; the demon has gone out of your daughter.”
30 Ary raha tonga tao an-tranony ravehivavy, dia hitany nandry teo ambonin’ ny farafara ny zananivavy, ary ny demonia efa nivoaka taminy.
And when she had gone to her house, she found the girl lying on the bed; and the demon had gone away.
31 Ary Jesosy niala indray tamin’ ny sisin-tanin’ i Tyro, dia namaky an’ i Sidona sy ny tany Dekapolisy ka nankany amoron’ ny Ranomasin’ i Galilia.
And again, departing from the borders of Tyre, he went by way of Sidon to the sea of Galilee, through the midst of the area of the Ten Cities.
32 Ary nisy marenina sady raiki-dela anankiray nentiny tany aminy, ka nangataka taminy ireo mba hametrahany tanana.
And they brought someone who was deaf and mute to him. And they begged him, so that he would lay his hand upon him.
33 Ary nitondra an-dralehilahy nitanila niala teo amin’ ny vahoaka Izy, dia nangarona ny sofiny tamin’ ny rantsan-tànany, dia nandrora ka nanendry ny lelany;
And taking him away from the crowd, he put his fingers into his ears; and spitting, he touched his tongue.
34 ary niandrandra ny lanitra Izy, dia nisento ka nanao taminy hoe: Efata, izany hoe: Maladia.
And gazing up to heaven, he groaned and said to him: “Ephphatha,” which is, “Be opened.”
35 Dia nalady ny sofiny, sady voavaha ny fatoran’ ny lelany, ka dia nahateny tsara izy.
And immediately his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was released, and he spoke correctly.
36 Ary nandrara ny olona teo Jesosy mba tsy hilazalaza na amin’ iza na amin’ iza; fa na dia norarany aza izy, dia vao mainka nampiely izany bebe kokoa.
And he instructed them not to tell anyone. But as much as he instructed them, so much more did they preach about it.
37 Dia talanjona indrindra ny olona ka nanao hoe: Tsara ny nanaovany ny zavatra rehetra; fa sady mampahalady ny marenina Izy no mampiteny ny moana.
And so much more did they wonder, saying: “He has done all things well. He has caused both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak.”
