1 “‘Omuntu bw’anaaleetanga ekiweebwayo olw’emirembe eri Mukama, ekiweebwayo ekyo nga kya nte nnume oba nkazi gy’aggye mu kiraalo kye, ente eyo tebeerengako kamogo.
[“Also tell the people], ‘When the offering that you bring to Yahweh is to maintain good fellowship [with him], you may bring a bull or a cow from your herd [of cattle], but what you present to Yahweh must be an animal that has no defects.
2 Omuntu aleese ekiweebwayo ekyo anaakwatanga omutwe gwakyo n’akittira ku mulyango gwa Weema ey’Okukuŋŋaanirangamu; batabani ba Alooni, bakabona, ne balyoka bamansira omusaayi ku kyoto okukyebungulula.
You must bring the animal to the entrance to the Sacred Tent. You must lay your hands on its head. Then you must slaughter it [and drain some of its blood in a bowl]. Then one of Aaron’s sons, one of the priests, will sprinkle the blood against all sides of the altar.

From that offering, you must offer to Yahweh, as a sacrifice that will be burned in the fire, all the fat that covers the inner parts of the animal, or which is attached to them—
4 n’ensigo zombi awamu n’amasavu agaziriko okuliraana ekiwato, n’ekibikka ku kibumba nga biggyibwako wamu n’ensigo.
the kidneys and the fat that is attached to them near the lower back muscle, and the fat that covers the liver.
5 Kale batabani ba Alooni banaabyokeranga kungulu ku kiweebwayo ekyokebwa ekiri ku nku eziri ku muliro ne kivaamu evvumbe eddungi erisanyusa Mukama.
Then one of the priests will burn those things on the altar, along with the other parts of the animal that will be completely burned to be an offering [to Yahweh]. And the aroma while it burns will be pleasing to Yahweh.
6 “‘Omuntu anaggyanga mu kisibo kye ekisolo ekisajja oba ekikazi nga tekiriiko kamogo, n’akiwaayo eri Mukama.
If that offering to maintain good fellowship with Yahweh is a sheep or a goat, it must also be an animal that has no defects.
7 Bw’anaaleetanga endiga ento nga kye kiweebwayo kye eri Mukama,
If you offer a lamb, you must present it to Yahweh [at the entrance to the Sacred Tent]. You must lay your hands on the lamb’s head and then slaughter it. [‘You must drain some of its blood in a bowl].
8 anaagikwatanga omutwe gwayo, n’agittira mu maaso ga Weema ey’Okukuŋŋaanirangamu. Kale batabani ba Alooni banaamansiranga omusaayi gwayo ku kyoto n’okukyebunguluza.
Then one of the priests will sprinkle that blood against all sides of the altar.
9 Mu kiweebwayo olw’emirembe ky’anaaleetanga okuwaayo ng’ekiweebwayo eri Mukama nga kyokebwa mu muliro, anaggyangamu bino n’abiwaayo eri Mukama: anaawangayo amasavu n’omukira gwonna n’amasavu gaagwo, nga gusaliddwako okumpi n’omugongo, n’amasavu agabikka ku byenda, n’amasavu gonna agali okumpi n’ebyenda,
You must dedicate these things to be a sacrifice to Yahweh that is burned: Its fat, the fat tail that you must cut off close to the backbone, and all the fat that covers the inner parts of the lamb or which is attached to them—
10 n’ensigo zombi awamu n’amasavu agaziriko okuliraana ekiwato, n’ekibikka ku kibumba, nga biggyibwako wamu n’ensigo.

11 Awo kabona anaabyokeranga ku kyoto okubeera ekyokulya ekiweebwayo eri Mukama nga kyokeddwa mu muliro.
One of the priests will burn those things on the altar to be an offering to Yahweh; [it will be as though] they will be a special food [given to Yahweh].
12 “‘Ekiweebwayo kye bwe kinaabanga embuzi, anaagiwangayo ng’ekiweebwayo eri Mukama;
‘If your offering is a goat, you must take/present it to Yahweh.
13 anaagikwatanga omutwe gwayo, n’agittira mu maaso ga Weema ey’Okukuŋŋaanirangamu. Kale batabani ba Alooni banaamansiranga omusaayi gwayo ku kyoto n’okukyebunguluza.
You must lay your hands on its head. Then you must slaughter it in front of the Sacred Tent. Then one of Aaron’s sons will sprinkle the blood against all sides of the altar.
14 Awo anaawangayo ekiweebwayo eri Mukama ekyokeddwa mu muliro ng’akiggya okwo: amasavu agabikka ebyenda, n’amasavu gonna agaliraanye ebyenda,
From that offering you must dedicate these things to be a sacrifice to Yahweh that is burned: All the fat that covers the inner parts of the animal or which is attached to them,
15 n’ensigo zombi n’amasavu agaziriko okuliraana ekiwato, n’ekibikka ku kibumba nga biggyibwako wamu n’ensigo.

16 Awo kabona anaabyokeranga ku kyoto okubeera ekyokulya ekiweebwayo nga kyokebwa mu muliro okuvaamu evvumbe eddungi erisanyusa Mukama. Amasavu gonna ganaabanga ga Mukama.
The priest will burn those things on the altar to be an offering to Yahweh; [it will be as though] they will be a special food [given to Yahweh]. And the aroma while it burns will be pleasing to Yahweh. All the fat [of the animals that are sacrificed] belongs to Yahweh.
17 “‘Ekintu kino kinaabeeranga etteeka ery’ebiro byonna okuyita mu mirembe eginaagendanga giddiriragana mu bifo byonna gye munaabeeranga. Temulyanga masavu wadde omusaayi.’”
‘This is a command that must be obeyed by you and your descendants forever, wherever you live: You must not eat the fat or the blood [of any animal].’”
