1 Bano be bantu ab’omu ssaza, abanyagibwa Kabaka Nebukadduneeza ow’e Babulooni ne batwalibwa e Babulooni, abaddayo e Yerusaalemi ne Yuda buli muntu mu kibuga ky’ewaabwe.
These also are the sonnes of the prouince, that went vp out of the captiuitie (whome Nebuchadnezzar King of Babel had caried away vnto Babel) and returned to Ierusalem, and to Iudah, euery one vnto his citie,
2 Abaabakulembera baali Zerubbaberi, ne Yesuwa, ne Nekkemiya, ne Seraya, ne Leeraya, ne Moluddekaayi, ne Birusani, ne Misupaali, ne Biguvaayi, ne Lekumu, ne Baana. Omuwendo gw’abantu ba Isirayiri gwali:
Which came with Zerubbabel, to wit, Ieshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Biguai, Rehum, Baanah. The number of the men of the people of Israel was,

59 Ne bano be baava mu bibuga eby’e Terumeera, n’e Terukalusa, n’e Kerubu, n’e Yaddani, n’e Immeri, naye tebaalina bukakafu bulaga nti bava mu nnyumba ya Isirayiri.

Beside their seruants and their maydes: of whome were seuen thousande, three hundreth and seuen and thirtie: and among them were two hundreth singing men and singing women.
66 Baalina embalaasi lusanvu mu asatu mu mukaaga, n’ennyumbu ebikumi bibiri mu amakumi ana mu ttaano,
Their horses were seuen hundreth, and sixe and thirtie: their mules, two hundreth and fiue and fourtie:
67 n’eŋŋamira ebikumi bina mu amakumi asatu mu ttaano, n’endogoyi kakaaga mu lusanvu mu abiri.
Their camels foure hundreth, and fiue and thirtie: their asses, sixe thousand, seuen hundreth and twentie.
68 Awo abakulu b’ennyumba z’abajjajjaabwe bwe baatuuka ku kifo ennyumba ya Mukama we yali mu Yerusaalemi, ne bawaayo ebiweebwayo nga beeyagalidde, olw’okuddaabiriza ennyumba ya Katonda.
And certeine of the chiefe fathers, when they came to the house of the Lord, which was in Ierusalem, they offred willingly for the house of God, to set it vp vpon his fundation.
69 Ne bawaayo mu ggwanika ng’obusobozi bwabwe bwe bwali; ne bawaayo kilo bitaano eza zaabu, ne tani ssatu, n’ebyambalo bya bakabona kikumi mu ggwanika.
They gaue after their abilitie vnto the treasure of the worke, euen one and threescore thousand drammes of golde, and fiue thousand pieces of siluer, and an hundreth Priests garments.
70 Awo bakabona, n’Abaleevi, n’abayimbi, n’abaakuumanga enzigi za yeekaalu, n’abakozi ba yeekaalu ne baddayo mu bibuga byabwe, awamu n’abamu ku bantu abalala, n’Abayisirayiri abalala bonna ne baddayo mu bibuga byabwe.
So the Priests and the Leuites, and a certeine of the people, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.
