< Banzembo 39 >
1 Wuta na buku ya mokambi ya bayembi mpe ya Yedutuni. Nzembo ya Davidi. Namilobelaki: « Nakosala keba na etamboli na ngai mpo ete monoko na ngai esala masumu te; nakobatela penza monoko na ngai tango nyonso moto mabe akozala liboso na ngai. »
To the excellent musician Ieduthun. I thought, I will take heede to my wayes, that I sinne not with my tongue: I will keepe my mouth brideled, while the wicked is in my sight.
2 Boye nakangaki monoko na ngai mpe navandaki nye, natikalaki koloba ata likambo moko te; pasi na ngai ebakisamaki makasi.
I was dumme and spake nothing: I kept silece euen from good, and my sorow was more stirred.
3 Motema na ngai eswaki, moto ezalaki kopela kati na ngai, mpe nalobaki na nzela ya monoko na ngai.
Mine heart was hote within me, and while I was musing, the fire kindeled, and I spake with my tongue, saying,
4 Yawe, yebisa ngai tango nini bomoi na ngai ekosuka mpe motango ya mikolo ya bomoi na ngai mpo ete nasosola ete bomoi na ngai ezali kaka mpo na mwa tango moke.
Lord, let me know mine ende, and the measure of my dayes, what it is: let mee knowe howe long I haue to liue.
5 Solo mikolo ya bomoi na ngai ekatama, ezali pamba na miso na Yo. Bomoi ya moto nyonso ezali kaka mopepe.
Beholde, thou hast made my dayes as an hand breadth, and mine age as nothing in respect of thee: surely euery man in his best state is altogether vanitie. (Selah)
6 Moto akendaka mpe azongaka, azali kaka lokola elili; amitungisaka kaka pamba, andukaka bomengo, kasi ayebaka te soki nani akotikala na yango.
Doubtlesse man walketh in a shadowe, and disquieteth himselfe in vaine: he heapeth vp riches, and cannot tell who shall gather them.
7 Sik’oyo, oh Nkolo, nazela lisusu nini? Natiaka elikya na ngai kati na Yo.
And now Lord, what wait I for? mine hope is euen in thee.
8 Bikisa ngai na mabe na ngai nyonso, kopesa nzela te na bazoba ete bafinga ngai.
Deliuer me from all my transgressions, and make me not a rebuke vnto the foolish.
9 Nakangi monoko, nakoloba lisusu te, pamba te Yo nde osali.
I should haue bene dumme, and not haue opened my mouth, because thou didest it.
10 Kobeta ngai lisusu te, nazali kokoka lisusu te.
Take thy plague away from mee: for I am consumed by the stroke of thine hand.
11 Opesaka bato etumbu mpo na masumu na bango mpo na kozongisa bango na nzela; obebisaka biloko na bango ya motuya lokola nselele. Solo, moto nyonso azali kaka mopepe.
When thou with rebukes doest chastise man for iniquitie, thou as a mothe makest his beautie to consume: surely euery man is vanitie. (Selah)
12 Yawe, yoka libondeli na ngai; yoka na bokebi, wana nazali koganga mpo na kosenga lisungi, kovanda nye te liboso ya mpinzoli na ngai, pamba te epai na Yo, nazali mopaya mpe moleki nzela lokola bakoko na ngai.
Heare my prayer, O Lord, and hearken vnto my cry: keepe not silence at my teares, for I am a strager with thee, and a soiourner as all my fathers.
13 Kotala ngai te mpo ete nasepela lisusu, liboso ete nakende na ngai mpe nazala lisusu te.
Stay thine anger from me, that I may recouer my strength, before I go hence and be not.
