< Yobo 16 >
And Job made answer and said,
2 « Nayoki maloba ebele ya lolenge oyo; bino nyonso bozali babondisi mabe.
Such things have frequently come to my ears: you are comforters who only give trouble.
3 Kino tango nini bokotika koloba maloba ya pamba-pamba boye? Likambo nini etindi yo lisusu kozongela maloba?
May words which are like the wind be stopped? or what is troubling you to make answer to them?
4 Ngai mpe nakokaki koloba lokola bino, soki bozalaki na esika na ngai, nakokaki kobimisa maloba ebele mpe koningisa moto mpo na bino.
It would not be hard for me to say such things if your souls were in my soul's place; joining words together against you, and shaking my head at you:
5 Kasi monoko na ngai elingaki kolendisa bino, mpe bibebu na ngai elingaki koningana mpo na kokitisa bino mitema kati na pasi.
I might give you strength with my mouth, and not keep back the comfort of my lips.
6 Nzokande, soki nalobi, pasi na ngai ekosila te; bongo soki nakangi monoko nde pasi yango elongwe na bomoi na ngai?
If I say what is in my mind, my pain becomes no less: and if I keep quiet, how much of it goes from me?
7 Oh Nzambe! Solo penza, olembisi ngai! Obebisi ndako na ngai nyonso,
But now he has overcome me with weariness and fear, and I am in the grip of all my trouble.
8 ofini-fini ngai makasi penza, mpe kokonda na ngai ekomi ata kotatola mpe kofunda ngai na miso ya bato!
It has come up as a witness against me, and the wasting of my flesh makes answer to my face.
9 Kanda na Yo ezali kopasola mpe kobundisa ngai, okomi ata kolia minu mpo na kosala ngai mabe mpe kotala ngai na miso mabe lokola nde nazali monguna na yo.
I am broken by his wrath, and his hate has gone after me; he has made his teeth sharp against me: my haters are looking on me with cruel eyes;
10 Bato mabe bafungoli minoko mpo na kotiola ngai, bakomi kobeta ngai bambata na matama mpo na kosambwisa ngai, bango nyonso basaleli ngai likita.
Their mouths are open wide against me; the blows of his bitter words are falling on my face; all of them come together in a mass against me.
11 Nzambe akabi ngai na maboko ya bato mabe mpe abwaki ngai na manzaka na bango.
God gives me over to the power of sinners, sending me violently into the hands of evil-doers.
12 Makambo nyonso ezalaki kotambola malamu mpo na ngai, kasi aningisi ngai, akangi ngai na kingo mpe apanzi ngai, akomisi ngai lokola eloko na Ye ya komekela makonga;
I was in comfort, but I have been broken up by his hands; he has taken me by the neck, shaking me to bits; he has put me up as a mark for his arrows.
13 makonga na Ye ezingeli ngai, atoboli-toboli libumu na ngai, mpe na mawa te, asopi makila na ngai na mabele.
His bowmen come round about me; their arrows go through my body without mercy; my life is drained out on the earth.
14 Tango nyonso, azali kaka kozokisa ngai mpe kokweya likolo na ngai lokola elombe.
I am broken with wound after wound; he comes rushing on me like a man of war.
15 Natongi elamba na ngai ya saki na poso ya nzoto na ngai mpe nakundi lokumu na ngai nyonso na se ya putulu.
I have made haircloth the clothing of my skin, and my horn is rolled in the dust.
16 Likolo ya kolela, elongi na ngai ekomi motane, mpe molili ezingeli miso na ngai.
My face is red with weeping, and my eyes are becoming dark;
17 Nzokande, maboko na ngai etikala kosala moto mabe te, mpe libondeli na ngai ezalaki kosalema na motema peto.
Though my hands have done no violent acts, and my prayer is clean.
18 Oh mabele, kozipa makila na ngai te! Kotika te ete koganga na ngai ezwa tango ya kopema!
O earth, let not my blood be covered, and let my cry have no resting-place!
19 Wuta sik’oyo, motatoli na ngai azali na Likolo, molobeli na ngai azali na Lola.
Even now my witness is in heaven, and the supporter of my cause is on high.
20 Baninga na ngai bakomi koseka ngai; nazali nde kolela epai ya Nzambe na mpinzoli.
My friends make sport of me; to God my eyes are weeping,
21 Boni, ezali solo na molobeli oyo akoki kolobela moto liboso ya Nzambe ndenge moto alobelaka moninga na ye?
So that he may give decision for a man in his cause with God, and between a son of man and his neighbour.
22 Solo, motango ya mibu na ngai ekomi pene ya kosila, mpe nakokende na ngai na nzela oyo bato bazongaka lisusu te.
For in a short time I will take the journey from which I will not come back.
