< Jeremi 43 >
1 Tango Jeremi asilisaki koloba na bato maloba nyonso ya Yawe, Nzambe na bango, maloba nyonso oyo Yawe, Nzambe na bango, atindaki ye koyebisa bango,
[So] I finished telling to the people that message from Yahweh our God.
2 Azaria, mwana mobali ya Oshaya; Yoanani, mwana mobali ya Karea, mpe bato oyo nyonso ya lolendo balobaki na Jeremi: — Ozali koloba makambo ya lokuta! Yawe, Nzambe na biso, atindi yo te koloba na biso ete tokende te kovanda na Ejipito.
But then Johanan and Azariah and some other insolent/arrogant men said to me, “You are lying! Yahweh our God has not told [us] that we should not go to Egypt!
3 Ezali Baruki, mwana mobali ya Neriya, moto atindi yo ete okosa biso, pamba te alingi ete towumela na se ya bokonzi ya bato ya Babiloni mpo ete baboma biso to bamema biso na bowumbu na Babiloni.
[We think that] Baruch has urged/persuaded you to say this, in order that [if we stay here], the soldiers from Babylonia will seize us and kill us or take us to Babylonia.”
4 Boye, Yoanani, mwana mobali ya Karea, bakonzi nyonso ya basoda mpe bato nyonso baboyaki kotosa Yawe oyo azali kosenga bango kovanda kati na mokili ya Yuda.
So Johanan and the other leaders of the [Israeli] soldiers and [many of] [HYP] the other people [who were there] refused to obey Yahweh’s command to stay in Judah.
5 Yoanani, mwana mobali ya Karea, mpe bakonzi nyonso ya basoda bakamataki batikali nyonso ya Yuda, oyo bazongaki wuta na bikolo nyonso epai wapi bazalaki ya kopanzana, mpo na kovanda na mokili ya Yuda;
Johanan and all the [other] leaders gathered together all the people who had returned from the other countries to which they had been scattered.
6 bamemaki lisusu mibali, basi, bana mpe bana basi ya mokonzi oyo Nebuzaradani, mokonzi ya bakengeli ya mokonzi, apesaki na maboko ya Gedalia, mwana mobali ya Ayikami, mwana mobali ya Shafani. Bamemaki mpe mosakoli Jeremi mpe Baruki, mwana mobali ya Neriya.
[They included] men, women, children, the king’s daughters, and all those whom Nebuzaradan had left with Gedaliah, and they also took Baruch and me.
7 Boye, mpo ete batosaki Yawe te, bakendeki na Ejipito mpe bakomaki kino na Dafine.
They refused to obey Yahweh, and they took us all [to Egypt], as far as Tahpenes [city].
8 Wuta na Dafine, Yawe alobaki na Jeremi:
[While we were] at Tahpenes, Yahweh gave me another message. He said,
9 — Kamata mabanga minene mpe, na miso ya Bayuda, kunda yango na se ya mabele oyo basalelaka bikeko, mabele ya pavema oyo batonga na babiliki, na ekotelo ya ndako ya Faraon, na Dafine.
“While the people of Judah are watching you, take some large rocks and bury them under the brick pavement at the entrance to the king’s palace there at Tahpenes.
10 Loba na bango: « Tala liloba oyo Yawe, Mokonzi ya mampinga, Nzambe ya Isalaele, alobi: ‹ Nakobengisa mosali na Ngai, Nabukodonozori, mokonzi ya Babiloni, mpe nakotelemisa kiti na ye ya bokonzi na likolo ya mabanga oyo nasili kokunda na esika oyo; akotanda ndako na ye ya kapo ya bokonzi na likolo na yango.
Then say to the people of Judah, ‘This is what the Commander of the armies of angels, the God whom [you] Israelis [say you belong to], says: “I will summon Nebuchadnezzar the King of Babylon, who does my work, to come [with his army] to Egypt. I will set up his throne over these stones that I told Jeremiah to bury. And Nebuchadnezzar will set up his tent there [to show that he has become] the King [of Egypt].
11 Akoya kobundisa Ejipito mpe akoboma bato oyo basengeli kokufa, akomema na bowumbu ba-oyo basengeli kokende na bowumbu mpe akoboma na mopanga ba-oyo basengeli kokufa na mopanga.
When his [army] comes, they will attack Egypt. Then those will die who [I have determined] must die, those who [I have determined] must be captured will be captured, and those who [I have determined] must be killed by swords will be killed by swords.
12 Akotia moto kati na batempelo ya banzambe ya bato ya Ejipito, akotumba batempelo yango mpe akomema banzambe na bango ya bikeko na bowumbu. Akolongola bato ya Ejipito ndenge mobateli bibwele alongolaka basili na kazaka na ye, mpe akobima na kimia.
Nebuchadnezzar’s [soldiers] will burn down the temples of the gods of Egypt. [But before they burn the temples], they will take away their idols [as souvenirs]. His [troops] will clean Egypt like a shepherd cleans lice from his cloak. They will tear down the sacred pillars that are in the temple of their sun god. And then Nebuchadnezzar’s [troops] will leave there, without having been harmed.”’”
13 Kuna, kati na tempelo ya Eliopolisi, akobuka makonzi ya bule mpe akobebisa na moto batempelo ya banzambe ya bato ya Ejipito. › »
