< Misala ya Bantoma 2 >

1 Tango mokolo ya Pantekoti ekomaki, bango nyonso basanganaki esika moko.
When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.
2 Mbala moko, lokito moko ewutaki na likolo lokola lokito ya mopepe makasi, mpe etondisaki ndako mobimba epai wapi bazalaki kosangana.
Suddenly a sound like a mighty rushing wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.
They saw tongues like flames of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.
4 Bango nyonso batondisamaki na Molimo Mosantu mpe babandaki koloba na nkota mosusu, ndenge Molimo azalaki kolakisa bango.
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven.
And when this sound rang out, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard them speaking his own language.
7 Bakamwaki mingi penza mpe bakomaki kotuna: « Boni, bato nyonso oyo bazali koloba, bazali bato ya Galile te?
Astounded and amazed, they asked, “Are not all these men who are speaking Galileans?
How is it then that each of us hears them in his own native language?
9 Bato ya Parte, ya Mede mpe ya Elami, bavandi ya Mezopotami, ya Yuda, ya Kapadose, ya Ponti mpe ya Azia,
Parthians, Medes, and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,
Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome,
both Jews and converts to Judaism; Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!”
12 Bango nyonso, elekelaki bango, bazalaki kokamwa mingi mpe bakomaki kotunana: « Likambo oyo elingi koloba nini? »
Astounded and perplexed, they asked one another, “What does this mean?”
13 Nzokande, bato mosusu bazalaki koseka bango mpe koloba: « Balangwe vino ya sika. »
But others mocked them and said, “They are drunk on new wine!”
Then Peter stood up with the Eleven, lifted up his voice, and addressed the crowd: “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and listen carefully to my words.
15 Bato oyo balangwe masanga te ndenge bozali kokanisa.
These men are not drunk, as you suppose. It is only the third hour of the day!
16 Kasi ezali nde makambo oyo mosakoli Joeli alobaki:
No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.
Even on My menservants and maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.
I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke.
20 Moyi ekobongwana molili, sanza ekobongwana makila liboso ete mokolo ya Nkolo ekoma, mokolo oyo ya monene mpe ya nkembo.
The sun will be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the coming of the great and glorious Day of the Lord.
21 Boye, moto nyonso oyo akobelela Kombo ya Nkolo akobikisama. »
And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’
Men of Israel, listen to this message: Jesus of Nazareth was a man certified by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs, which God did among you through Him, as you yourselves know.
He was delivered up by God’s set plan and foreknowledge, and you, by the hands of the lawless, put Him to death by nailing Him to the cross.
24 Kasi Nzambe abukaki minyololo ya kufa, asekwisaki Ye, pamba te ekokaki kosalema te ete kufa ekanga Ye.
But God raised Him from the dead, releasing Him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for Him to be held in its clutches.
David says about Him: ‘I saw the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
26 Yango wana, motema na ngai etondi na esengo, mpe lolemo na ngai ezali kosepela. Solo, nzoto na ngai ekopema na elikya,
Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will dwell in hope,
because You will not abandon my soul to Hades, nor will You let Your Holy One see decay.
You have made known to me the paths of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence.’
29 Bandeko na ngai, tika ete naloba na bino solo na tina na Davidi, koko na biso, ete akufa mpe bakunda ye; mpe kunda na ye ezali awa kino lelo.
Brothers, I can tell you with confidence that the patriarch David died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.
But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that He would place one of his descendants on his throne.
31 Davidi amonaki makambo oyo wuta kala, alobelaki lisekwa ya Klisto ete Nzambe akosundola Ye te kati na mboka ya bakufi mpe akotika te ete nzoto na Ye epola. (Hadēs g86)
Foreseeing this, David spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that He was not abandoned to Hades, nor did His body see decay. (Hadēs g86)
32 Nzambe asekwisaki Yesu kati na bakufi; boye biso nyonso tozali batatoli ya lisekwa yango.
God has raised this Jesus to life, to which we are all witnesses.
33 Sima na loboko ya mobali ya Nzambe konetola Ye, azwaki epai ya Tata, Molimo Mosantu oyo Ye Tata alakaki, mpe asopeli biso Molimo Mosantu yango ndenge bozali komona mpe koyoka sik’oyo.
Exalted, then, to the right hand of God, He has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.
For David did not ascend into heaven, but he himself says: ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand
35 kino nakomisa banguna na Yo enyatelo makolo na Yo. › »
until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”’
36 Boye, tika ete bato nyonso ya Isalaele bayeba na bosolo ete Nzambe akomisi Yesu oyo bobakaki na ekulusu Nkolo mpe Klisto.
Therefore let all Israel know with certainty that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ!”
37 Tango bato bayokaki bongo, mitema na bango eyokaki pasi makasi mpe balobaki na Petelo mpe bantoma mosusu: — Bandeko, tosala nini?
When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and asked Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”
Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
This promise belongs to you and your children and to all who are far off—to all whom the Lord our God will call to Himself.”
40 Petelo azalaki kokebisa bango na maloba ebele mpe azalaki kolendisa bango na maloba oyo: — Boyamba lobiko mpo ete bozwa etumbu te oyo ezali kozela bato mabe.
With many other words he testified, and he urged them, “Be saved from this corrupt generation.”
Those who embraced his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to the believers that day.
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
43 Bato nyonso batondisamaki na somo, mpo ete bantoma bazalaki kosala makamwisi ebele mpe bilembo ya kokamwa.
A sense of awe came over everyone, and the apostles performed many wonders and signs.
44 Bandimi nyonso bakomaki na bomoko, mpe biloko na bango ezalaki mpo na bango nyonso.
All the believers were together and had everything in common.
Selling their possessions and goods, they shared with anyone who was in need.
With one accord they continued to meet daily in the temple courts and to break bread from house to house, sharing their meals with gladness and sincerity of heart,
47 Bazalaki kokumisa Nzambe, mpe bato nyonso bazalaki kolinga bango. Bongo, mikolo nyonso, Nkolo azalaki kobakisa na lisanga na bango bato oyo bazalaki kobika.
praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
