< 2 Bakonzi 16 >
1 Na mobu ya zomi na sambo ya bokonzi ya Peka, mwana mobali ya Remalia, Akazi, mwana mobali ya Yotami, mokonzi ya Yuda, akomaki mokonzi.
In the seventeenth year of Pekah son of Remaliah, began Ahaz son of Jotham king of Judah to reign.
2 Akazi azalaki na mibu tuku mibale ya mbotama tango akomaki mokonzi, mpe akonzaki mibu zomi na motoba na Yelusalemi. Asalaki makambo mabe na miso ya Yawe, Nzambe na ye; nzokande, Davidi, koko na ye, asalaki makambo ya sembo.
Twenty years old, was Ahaz when he began to reign, and, sixteen years, reigned he in Jerusalem. And he did not that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh his God, like David his father;
3 Alandaki banzela oyo bakonzi ya Isalaele batambolaki na yango, atumbaki ata mwana na ye ya mobali na moto lokola mbeka, kolanda misala ya nkele ya bikolo oyo Yawe abenganaki liboso ya bana ya Isalaele.
but walked in the way of the kings of Israel, —moreover also, me made, his son, pass through the fire, according to the abominable practices of the nations, whom Yahweh dispossessed from before the sons of Israel;
4 Abonzaki bambeka mpe atumbaki mbeka ya malasi, na bisambelo ya likolo ya bangomba, na bangomba mike mpe na se ya banzete ya mibesu.
and he offered sacrifice and burned incense in the high places, and on the hills, —and under every green tree.
5 Bongo Retsini, mokonzi ya Siri, mpe Peka, mwana mobali ya Remalia, mokonzi ya Isalaele, bamataki mpo na kobundisa Yelusalemi mpe bazingelaki Akazi, kasi bakokaki kolonga ye te.
then, came up Rezin king of Syria, and Pekah son of Remaliah king of Israel, unto Jerusalem, to make war, —and they laid siege against Ahaz, but could not overcome [him].
6 Na tango wana, Retsini, mokonzi ya Siri, azongisaki Eyilati na se ya bokonzi ya Siri. Abenganaki bato ya Yuda oyo bazalaki na Efrate, mpe bato ya Edomi bayaki kovanda kuna kino lelo.
At that time, Rezin king of Syria recovered Elath, to Syria, and wholly cleared out the Jews from Eloth, —and, the Syrians, entered Elath, and have dwelt there, unto this day.
7 Akazi atindaki bantoma epai ya Tigilati-Pilezeri, mokonzi ya Asiri, mpo na koloba na ye: « Nazali mosali na yo mpe mwana na yo; yaka kokangola ngai na maboko ya mokonzi ya Siri mpe mokonzi ya Isalaele oyo bayei kobundisa ngai. »
So Ahaz sent messengers unto Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria, saying, Thy servant and thy son, I am, —Come up and save me, out of the hand of the king of Syria, and out of the hand of the king of Israel, who are rising up against me.
8 Akazi azwaki palata mpe wolo oyo ezalaki kati na Tempelo ya Yawe mpe kati na bibombelo ya ndako ya mokonzi; bongo atindaki yango lokola kado epai ya mokonzi ya Asiri.
And Ahaz took the silver and the gold that was found in the house of Yahweh, and in the treasuries of the house of the king, —and sent them to the king of Assyria, as a bribe.
9 Mokonzi ya Asiri ayokaki ye, akendeki kobundisa Damasi mpe abotolaki yango. Amemaki bato ya Damasi na bowumbu na Kiri mpe abomaki Retsini.
So the king of Assyria hearkened unto him, and the king of Assyria came up unto Damascus, and seized it, and carried away the people thereof captive to Kir, —and put Rezin, to death.
10 Bongo mokonzi Akazi akendeki na Damasi mpo na kokutana na Tigilati-Pilezeri, mokonzi ya Asiri; amonaki etumbelo oyo ezalaki na Damasi mpe atindaki epai ya Nganga-Nzambe Uri elilingi na yango ndenge batongaki yango.
So then King Ahaz went to meet Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria, in Damascus, and saw the altar which was in Damascus, —and King Ahaz, sent unto Urijah the priest, a likeness of the altar, and a model thereof, according to all the workmanship thereof;
11 Boye Nganga-Nzambe Uri atongaki etumbelo kolanda elilingi oyo mokonzi Akazi atindaki wuta na Damasi, mpe asilisaki kotonga yango liboso ete mokonzi Akazi azonga wuta na Damasi.
and Urijah the priest built an altar, —according to all that King Ahaz sent from Damascus, so, did Urijah the priest make it, by the time King Ahaz came from Damascus.
12 Tango mokonzi Akazi azongaki wuta na Damasi, amonaki etumbelo, apusanaki pene na yango mpe abonzaki bambeka na likolo na yango.
And, when the king came from Damascus, then the king saw the altar, —so the king drew near unto the altar, and caused offerings to ascend thereupon.
13 Atumbaki mbeka na ye mpe likabo ya gato, asopaki likabo ya masanga mpe abwakaki makila ya bambeka ya boyokani na likolo ya etumbelo.
And he made perfume with his ascending-sacrifice, and with his meal-offering, and poured out his drink-offering, —and dashed the blood of the peace-offerings which he had, upon the altar.
14 Kasi mpo na oyo etali etumbelo ya bronze oyo ezalaki liboso ya Yawe, alongolaki yango na esika na yango liboso ya Ndako ya Nzambe, kati na etumbelo ya sika mpe Tempelo ya Yawe, mpe atiaki yango pembeni ya etumbelo ya sika, na ngambo ya nor.
And, the altar of bronze which was before Yahweh, he brought away from the forefront of the house, from between the altar, and the house of Yahweh, —and put it at the side of the altar northward.
15 Mokonzi Akazi apesaki mitindo epai ya Nganga-Nzambe Uri: « Na likolo ya etumbelo monene ya sika, okobanda kobonza mbeka ya kotumba na tongo mpe likabo ya gato na pokwa, mbeka ya kotumba ya mokonzi elongo na likabo na yango ya gato, mpe mbeka ya kotumba ya bato nyonso ya mokili elongo na likabo na bango ya masanga. Okobwaka na etumbelo makila ya bambeka nyonso ya kotumba mpe ya bambeka mosusu. Kasi mpo na oyo etali etumbelo ya bronze, nakokanisa mosala nini nakosala na yango. »
And King Ahaz commanded Urijah the priest, saying—Upon the great altar, make thou perfume with the ascending-sacrifice of the morning, and with the meal-offering of the evening, and with the ascending-sacrifice of the king and with his meal-offering, and with the ascending-sacrifice of all the people of the land, and their meal-offering and their drink-offering, and, all the blood of the ascending-offering, and all the blood of the [peace] offering, thereupon, shalt thou dash, —but, the altar of bronze, shall be for me to inquire [into].
16 Nganga-Nzambe Uri asalaki ndenge kaka mokonzi Akazi atindaki.
So Urijah the priest did according to all that King Ahaz commanded.
17 Mokonzi Akazi alongolaki mabaya oyo esimbaka bamesa, mpe alongolaki basani ya minene na likolo na yango; akitisaki nzungu ya monene ya bronze oyo ezalaki na likolo ya bikeko ya bangombe mpe atiaki yango na likolo ya mabanga babongisa malamu.
And King Ahaz cut off the side walls of the stands, and took away from off them the laver, and, the sea, took he down from off the oxen of bronze, which were under it, —and set it on a pavement of stones.
18 Abongolaki shambre ya Saba ya kokotela oyo batongaki na kati ya Ndako ya Nzambe; abongolaki lisusu ekuke ya mokonzi oyo batongaki na libanda ya Tempelo ya Yawe mpo na kosepelisa mokonzi ya Asiri.
Also, the covered walk for the Sabbath, which they had built in the house, and the outer entrance for the king, he changed in the house of Yahweh, —because of the king of Assyria.
19 Makambo mosusu oyo etali mokonzi Akazi mpe misala na ye, ekomama kati na buku ya masolo ya bakonzi ya Yuda.
Now, the rest of the story of Ahaz, what he did, is, it, not written in the book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?
20 Akazi akendeki kokutana na bakoko na ye, mpe bakundaki ye esika moko na bakoko na ye kati na engumba ya Davidi. Ezekiasi, mwana na ye ya mobali, akitanaki na ye na bokonzi.
And Ahaz slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers, in the city of David, —and, Hezekiah his son, reigned, in his stead.
