1 Salomo abandaki kotonga Tempelo ya Yawe kati na Yelusalemi, na likolo ya ngomba Morija epai wapi Yawe abimelaki Davidi, tata na ye, mpe kaka na esika oyo Davidi abongisaki na etando ya Orinani, moto ya Yebusi.
Then Solomon made a start at building the house of the Lord on Mount Moriah in Jerusalem, where the Lord had been seen by his father David, in the place which David had made ready in the grain-floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
2 Abandaki kotonga na mokolo ya mibale ya sanza ya mibale, na mobu ya minei ya bokonzi na ye.
The building was started in the second month in the fourth year of his rule.
3 Moboko oyo Salomo asalaki mpo na kotonga Tempelo ya Nzambe ezalaki na bametele pene tuku misato na molayi, mpe bametele pene zomi, na mokuse.
And Solomon put the base of the house of God in position; by the older measure it was sixty cubits long and twenty cubits wide.
4 Ndako moke ya kokotela na Tempelo ya Yawe ezalaki na bametele pene zomi, na bosanda, mpe bametele pene zomi, na mokuse. Apakolaki wolo ya peto kati na yango.
And the covered way in front of the house was twenty cubits long, as wide as the house, and a hundred and twenty cubits high, all plated inside with the best gold.
5 Babetaki mabaya ya sipele na bamir ya eteni oyo eleki monene mpe abambaki wolo ya peto na likolo na yango. Asalaki bililingi ya nzete ya mbila mpe ya basinga elingama-lingama lokola basheni.
And the greater house was roofed with cypress-wood, plated with the best gold and ornamented with designs of palm-trees and chains.
6 Abambaki mabanga ya talo mpo na kokomisa yango kitoko. Wolo oyo asalelaki ezalaki wolo ya Parivayimi.
And the house was made beautiful with stones of great value, and the gold was gold of Parvaim.
7 Apakolaki wolo na motondo, na bikuke, na bamir, mpe atobolaki bililingi ya basheribe na bamir.
All the house was plated with gold, the supports, the steps, the walls and the doors; and the walls were ornamented with designs of winged ones.
8 Atongaki Esika-Oyo-Eleki-Bule; molayi na yango ekokanaki na mokuse ya Tempelo ya Yawe: bametele pene zomi, na molayi, mpe bametele pene zomi, na mokuse. Apakolaki wolo ya peto ya bakilo pene nkoto tuku mibale kati na Tempelo ya Yawe.
And he made the most holy place; it was twenty cubits long, and twenty cubits wide, like the greater house, and was plated all over with the best gold; six hundred talents were used for it.
9 Basete oyo basalelaki ezalaki ya wolo, mpe ezalaki ya bagrame nkama motoba. Apakolaki lisusu wolo na bashambre ya likolo.
And fifty shekels weight of gold was used for the nails. He had all the higher rooms plated with gold.
10 Atiaki bililingi ya basheribe mibale kati na Esika-Oyo-Eleki-Bule mpe apakolaki yango wolo.
And in the most holy place he made images of two winged beings, covering them with gold.
11 Mapapu ya basheribe ezalaki na bametele pene zomi na molayi. Lipapu ya sheribe ya liboso ezalaki na molayi ya bametele mibale na basantimetele tuku mitano, mpe etutaki mir ya Tempelo ya Yawe; bongo lipapu na ye mosusu, oyo ezalaki na bametele mibale na basantimetele tuku mitano, etutaki lipapu ya sheribe ya mibale, oyo ezalaki mpe na bametele mibale na basantimetele tuku mitano.
Their outstretched wings were twenty cubits across; one wing, five cubits long, touching the wall of the house, and the other, of the same size, meeting the wing of the other winged one.
12 Ndenge moko mpe mpo na lipapu ya sheribe ya mibale, oyo ezalaki na molayi ya bametele mibale na basantimetele tuku mitano: etutaki mir mosusu ya Tempelo ya Yawe; mpe lipapu mosusu oyo ezalaki na molayi ya bametele mibale na basantimetele tuku mitano etutaki lipapu ya sheribe ya liboso.
And in the same way, the wings of the other, five cubits long, were stretched out, one touching the wall and the other meeting the wing of the first winged one.
13 Mapapu ya basheribe yango ezalaki ya kofungwama na molayi ya bametele pene zomi. Basheribe nyonso mibale batelemaki na makolo na bango, mpe bilongi na bango ezalaki kotala na ngambo ya kati ya Esika ya bule.
Their outstretched wings were twenty cubits across; they were placed upright on their feet, facing the inner part of the house.
14 Asalaki rido ya lino, ya langi ya ble, ya motane ya pete mpe ya motane makasi, mpe atongaki bililingi ya basheribe na likolo na yango.
And he made the veil of blue and purple and red, of the best linen, worked with winged ones.
15 Na liboso ya Tempelo ya Yawe, atongaki makonzi mibale oyo ezalaki na bametele pene zomi na sambo na bosanda. Na likolo ya likonzi moko na moko, ezalaki na moto ya bametele mibale na basantimetele tuku mitano.
And in front of the house he made two pillars, thirty-five cubits high, with crowns on the tops of them, five cubits high.
16 Asalaki bililingi ya basinga elingama-lingama lokola basheni mpe atiaki yango na mito ya makonzi; asalaki lisusu bililingi ya bambuma nkama moko ya grenade, mpe akangisaki yango na bililingi ya basinga elingama-lingama lokola basheni.
And he made chains, like neck ornaments, and put them on the tops of the pillars, and a hundred apples on the chains.
17 Mpe atongaki makonzi liboso ya Tempelo ya Yawe: moko na ngambo ya loboko ya mwasi, mpe mosusu, na ngambo ya loboko ya mobali. Abengaki likonzi ya ngambo ya loboko ya mwasi Yakini, mpe oyo ya ngambo ya loboko ya mobali, Boazi.
He put up the pillars in front of the Temple, one on the right side and one on the left, naming the one on the right Jachin and that on the left Boaz.
