1 عیسا بە قوتابییەکانی فەرموو: «مەحاڵە ئەو شتانەی کە خەڵکی تووشی گوناه دەکەن نەیەن، بەڵام قوڕبەسەر ئەوەی دەبێتە هۆی هاتنیان.

Then said He to the disciples, It is impossible that offences should not come: but wo to him by whom they come.

2 باشترە بۆی ئەگەر بەرداشێک بە ملیەوە هەڵبواسرێت و فڕێبدرێتە دەریاوە، لەوەی یەکێک لە قوتابییەکانم تووشی گوناه بکات.

It were better for him that a milstone were hung about his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should cause one of these little ones to offend.

3 ئاگاداری خۆتان بن. «ئەگەر براکەت هەڵەی کرد، سەرزەنشتی بکە، ئەگەر تۆبەی کرد گەردنی ئازاد بکە.

Take heed to yourselves: if thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.

4 ئەگەر لە ڕۆژێکدا حەوت جار هەڵەی بەرامبەرت کرد و حەوت جار گەڕایەوە لات و گوتی:”تۆبە دەکەم،“تۆ گەردنی ئازاد بکە.»

And if he trespass against thee seven times a day, and seven times in a day return to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.

5 ئینجا نێردراوەکان بە مەسیحی خاوەن شکۆیان گوت: «باوەڕمان زیاد بکە!»

And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.

6 مەسیحیش فەرمووی: «ئەگەر ئەوەندەی دەنکە خەرتەلەیەکیش باوەڕتان هەبێت، بەم دار تووە دەڵێن:”هەڵبکەنرێ و لەناو دەریا بڕوێ،“بە قسەتان دەکات.

And the Lord said, If ye had faith but as a grain of mustard-seed, ye might say to this sycamine-tree, Be thou rooted up and planted in the sea; and it would obey you.

7 «کامەتان، ئەگەر کۆیلەیەکی هەبێت و خەریکی کاری کێڵگە و لەوەڕاندنی ئاژەڵەکانی بێت، دوای ئەوەی کە لە کێڵگە هاتەوە، پێی دەڵێت:”یەکسەر وەرە و دانیشە“؟

But which of you having a servant plowing, or feeding cattle, will say to him, as soon as he comes in from the field, Come hither and sit down at table?

8 ئایا پێی ناڵێت:”شتێکم بۆ ئامادە بکە بیخۆم، ناوقەدت ببەستە و خزمەتم بکە تاکو دەخۆم و دەخۆمەوە، پاشان تۆ بخۆ و بخۆوە“؟

But will he not rather say to him, Get ready my supper, and gird thyself, and wait upon me, till I have done, and afterwards thou shalt eat and drink.

9 ئایا سوپاسی ئەو کۆیلەیە دەکات، لەبەر ئەوەی ئەو شتانەی کرد کە فەرمانی پێ کرابوو؟

Is he obliged to that servant for doing what he was ordered?

10 ئێوەش بەم شێوەیە، کاتێک هەموو ئەوەی فەرمانتان پێ دەکرێت دەیکەن، بڵێن:”کۆیلەی شایستە نین، ئەرکی خۆمان بەجێگەیاندووە.“»

I think not. So likewise ye, when ye have done all things that were commanded you, say we are unprofitable servants, for we have done only what we ought to do.

11 کاتێک عیسا دەچوو بۆ ئۆرشەلیم، بە نێوانی سامیرە و جەلیلدا ڕۆیشت.

And as He was going to Jerusalem, He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee;

12 کاتێک کە چووە یەکێک لە گوندەکان، تووشی دە پیاو بوو کە نەخۆشی گولییان هەبوو. لە دوورەوە ڕاوەستابوون و

and as He entered into a certain village, there met Him ten men that were lepers:

13 دەنگیان بەرز کردەوە و گوتیان: «ئەی عیسا، ئەی مامۆستا، بەزەییت پێماندا بێتەوە!»

who stood at a distance, and lifted up their voice, saying, Jesus master, have pity on us.

14 جا ئەوانی بینی و پێی فەرموون: «بڕۆن خۆتان نیشانی کاهینان بدەن.» کاتێک دەڕۆیشتن پاکبوونەوە.

And when He saw them, He said unto them, Go and shew yourselves to the priests. And it came to pass as they were going, they were cleansed.

15 یەکێکیان سەیری کرد پاک بووەتەوە، گەڕایەوە و بە دەنگێکی بەرز ستایشی خودای کرد،

And one of them, perceiving that he was healed, returned, with a loud voice glorifying God:

16 لەبەرپێی عیسا بەسەر ڕوودا کەوت و سوپاسی کرد. کابرا سامیرەییش بوو.

and fell prostrate at his feet, giving Him thanks; and He was a Samaritan.

17 عیساش وەڵامی دایەوە: «ئەرێ دە کەس پاک نەبوونەوە؟ کوا نۆیەکەی دیکە؟

And Jesus answered and said, Were not all the ten cleansed? and where are the other nine?

18 هیچ کەسێکیان نەبینران بگەڕێنەوە و ستایشی خودا بکەن، ئەم بێگانەیە نەبێت؟»

Are there none returning to give glory to God, but this stranger?

19 ئینجا پێی فەرموو: «هەستە و بڕۆ، باوەڕت ڕزگاری کردیت.»

And He said to him, Arise, go thy way; thy faith hath saved thee.

20 کە فەریسییەکان پرسیاریان لێکرد، کەی پاشایەتی خودا دێت، وەڵامی دانەوە: «پاشایەتی خودا بە جۆرێک نایەت کە ببینرێت،

And being asked by the pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, He answered and said, the kingdom of God cometh not with observation.

21 خەڵکیش ناڵێن:”ئەمەتا،“یان”ئەوەتا،“چونکە پاشایەتی خودا لە نێوتاندایە.»

Neither shall they say, Behold it is here, or behold it is there; for the kingdom of God is within you.

22 جا بە قوتابییەکانی فەرموو: «ڕۆژانێک دێت کە تامەزرۆن ڕۆژێک لە ڕۆژانی کوڕی مرۆڤ ببینن، بەڵام نایبینن.

And He said to the disciples, the time will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and shall not see it.

23 ئینجا پێتان دەڵێن:”ئەوەتا لەوێیە،“یان”ئەمەتا لێرەیە،“مەڕۆن و بەدوایدا مەچن،

And they will say to you, Behold, He is here, or behold He is there: but go not after them, nor follow them.

24 چونکە وەک ئەو هەورەتریشقەیەی لە لایەکەوە لەژێر ئاسماندا بروسکە دەدات و هەتا لایەکەی دیکە لەژێر ئاسماندا ڕووناک دەکاتەوە، کوڕی مرۆڤیش لە ڕۆژی خۆیدا بەو شێوەیە دەبێت.

For as the lightning which lightneth from the one part of heaven shineth to the other: so also shall the Son of man be in his day.

25 بەڵام دەبێت یەکەم جار زۆر ئازار بچێژێت و ئەم نەوەیەش ڕەتی بکەنەوە.

But He must suffer many things first, and be rejected by this generation.

26 «ڕۆژانی نوح چۆن بوو، لە سەردەمی کوڕی مرۆڤیشدا ئاوا دەبێت.

And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

27 دەیانخوارد و دەیانخواردەوە، ژنیان دەهێنا و مێردیان دەکرد، تاکو ئەو ڕۆژەی نوح چووە ناو کەشتییەکە، لافاوەکە هات و هەموویانی لەناوبرد.

They were eating, drinking, marrying, and being married, till the day that Noah went into the ark: and the flood came and destroyed them all.

28 «دیسان وەک ئەوەی لە سەردەمی لوت بوو، دەیانخوارد و دەیانخواردەوە، دەیانکڕی و دەیانفرۆشت، دەیانچاند و بنیادیان دەنا.

And as it was likewise in the days of Lot; they were eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting, and building:

29 بەڵام لەو ڕۆژەی لوت لە سەدۆم هاتە دەرەوە، خودا لە ئاسمانەوە ئاگر و گۆگردی باراند و هەموویانی لەناوبرد.

but the very day that Lot went out from Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.

30 «لەو ڕۆژەش کە کوڕی مرۆڤ ئاشکرا دەکرێت، ئاوا دەبێت.

Thus shall it be in the day that the Son of man is revealed.

31 ئەوەی لەو ڕۆژەدا لە سەربانە و شتەکانی لە ناو ماڵە، با نەیەتە خوارەوە بۆ بردنی. ئەوەی لە کێڵگەشە با نەگەڕێتەوە.

In that day, whoever shall be on the house-top, and his goods in the house, let him not come down into it to take them away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.

32 ژنەکەی لوتتان بەبیر بێتەوە!

Remember Lot's wife. Whosoever shall seek to save his life, shall lose it;

33 ئەوەی بیەوێ ژیانی خۆی بباتەوە دەیدۆڕێنێت، بەڵام ئەوەی بیدۆڕێنێت دەیباتەوە.

and whosoever will venture his life, shall preserve it.

34 پێتان دەڵێم: لەو شەوەدا دووان لەناو یەک جێگان، یەکیان دەبردرێت و ئەوی دیکە بەجێدەهێڵدرێت.

In that night there shall be two in one bed; the one shall be taken and the other left:

35 دوو ژن دەستاڕ دەگێڕن، یەکیان دەبردرێت و ئەوی دیکە بەجێدەهێڵدرێت.

two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken and the other left:

36 دووان لە کێڵگە دەبن، یەکیان دەبردرێت و ئەوی دیکە بەجێدەهێڵدرێت. »

two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken and the other left.

37 لێیان پرسی: «لەکوێ گەورەم؟» پێی فەرموون: «کەلاک لەکوێ بێت، داڵ لەوێ کۆدەبێتەوە.»

And they answered and said unto Him, Where, Lord? And He said to them, where the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
