یۆحەنا 13

1 پێش جەژنی پەسخە، عیسا دەیزانی کاتی هاتووە ئەم جیهانە بەجێبهێڵێت و بۆ لای باوک بگەڕێتەوە، جا ئەوانەی هی خۆی بوون لە جیهاندا خۆشی دەویستن، هەتا ئەوپەڕی خۆشویستن.

Now before the feast of the passover, (Jesus knowing that his hour was come, when He should pass out of this world unto the Father, as He had loved his own, who were yet in the world, He loved them unto the end: )

2 ژەمی ئێوارە بوو، شەیتان خستبوویە دڵی یەهوزای ئەسخەریوتی کوڕی شیمۆن، کە عیسا بەدەستەوە بدات.

supper being prepared, (the devil having put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, to betray Him) Jesus,

3 عیساش کە دەیزانی باوک هەموو شتێکی خستووەتە ژێر دەستی، هەروەها لە خوداوە هاتووە و بۆ خوداش دەگەڕێتەوە،

who knew that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that He came from God, and was going to God,

4 لەسەر خوان هەستا و کەواکەی داکەند و خاولییەکی هەڵگرت و لە ناوقەدی بەست.

riseth from supper, and turneth aside his clothes, and took a towel and tied it about Him;

5 پاشان عیسا ئاوی کردە ناو لەگەنێک و دەستی بە شوشتنی پێی قوتابییەکان کرد و بەو خاولییەی کە بە ناوقەدیەوە بەستبووی پێیانی دەسڕییەوە.

and then pouring water into a bason, began to wash the feet of his disciples, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith He was girded.

6 کاتێک گەیشتە سەر شیمۆن پەترۆس، شیمۆن پێی گوت: «گەورەم تۆ پێی من دەشۆیت؟»

He cometh therefore to Simon Peter among the rest, who saith unto Him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet?

7 عیسا لە وەڵامدا پێی فەرموو: «ئەمەی ئێستا دەیکەم تۆ لێی تێیناگەیت، بەڵام دواتر تێیدەگەیت.»

Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou dost not now understand, but thou shalt know hereafter.

8 پەترۆس پێی گوت: «هەرگیز پێم ناشۆیت.» عیساش وەڵامی دایەوە: «ئەگەر پێت نەشۆم، لەگەڵ من بەشت نابێت.» (aiōn g165)

Peter saith to Him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I do not wash thee, thou hast no part with me. (aiōn g165)

9 جا شیمۆن پەترۆس پێی گوت: «گەورەم، تەنها پێم نا، بەڵکو دەست و سەریشم!»

Simon Peter saith unto Him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head.

10 عیساش پێی فەرموو: «ئەوەی خۆی شوشتبێت تەنها پێویستی بە پێ شوشتن هەیە، تەواوی جەستەی پاکە. ئێوەش پاکن بەڵام هەمووتان نا.»

Jesus saith to him, He that hath been bathing, hath need only to wash his feet, being then clean all over: and thus ye are clean, but not all of you.

11 عیسا فەرمووی: «هەمووتان پاک نین،» چونکە دەیزانی کێ بە گرتنی دەدات.

For He knew who would betray Him; therefore He said, Ye are not all clean.

12 پاش شوشتنی پێیان کەواکەی خستەوە سەر شانی و دانیشتەوە، لێی پرسین: «ئایا لەوە تێگەیشتن کە بۆم کردن؟

And when He had washed their feet, and taken his clothes about Him, He sat down again, and said to them, Do ye know the intent of what I have been doing to you?

13 ئێوە بە”مامۆستا“و”گەورە“بانگم دەکەن و ڕاست دەکەن، چونکە من وام.

Ye call me, Master, and Lord; and ye say well; for so I am.

14 جا کە من گەورە و مامۆستاتانم و پێم شوشتن، ئێوەش لەسەرتانە پێی یەکتری بشۆن.

If I then your Lord and Master have washed your feet, ye also ought to wash one another's feet.

15 من نموونەیەکم پێدان تاکو ئەوەی بۆم کردن ئێوەش بیکەن.

For I have given you an example, that ye also should do as I have done to you.

16 ڕاستی ڕاستیتان پێ دەڵێم: کۆیلە لە گەورەکەی زیاتر نییە، نێردراویش لەوەی ناردوویەتی زیاتر نییە.

Verily, verily I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord, nor is the messenger greater than he that sent him.

17 ئەگەر ئەمانەتان زانی، خۆزگە دەخوازرێت بە ئێوە ئەگەر پەیڕەوتان کرد.

If ye know these things, happy are ye, if ye do them.

18 «باسی هەمووتان ناکەم. ئەوانەی هەڵمبژاردوون دەیانناسم، بەڵام تاکو ئەوەی لە نووسراوە پیرۆزەکە هاتووە بێتە دی: [ئەوەی نمەکی کردووم، ناپاکی لەگەڵم کرد‏.]

I speak not of you all; I know whom I have chosen: but have done it that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me, hath lift up his heel against me.

19 «لە ئێستاوە پێتان دەڵێم پێش ئەوەی ڕووبدات، تاکو کاتێک ڕوویدا باوەڕ بکەن کە من ئەوم.

And I tell you now, before it come, that when it comes to pass ye may believe that I am the Messiah.

20 ڕاستی ڕاستیتان پێ دەڵێم: ئەوەی پێشوازی لەوە بکات کە دەینێرم، ئەوا پێشوازی لە من دەکات، ئەوەی پێشوازی لە من بکات، پێشوازی لەوە دەکات کە ناردوومی.»

Verily, verily I say unto you, He that receiveth him, whom I shall send, receiveth me: and he that receiveth me, receiveth Him that sent me.

21 کاتێک عیسا ئەمانەی فەرموو، ڕۆحی خەمبار بوو و شایەتی دا: «ڕاستی ڕاستیتان پێ دەڵێم: یەکێکتان بە گرتنم دەدات.»

Jesus having said these things was troubled in spirit, and He openly testified and said, Verily, verily I tell you, that one of you will betray me.

22 قوتابییەکان سەیری یەکتریان دەکرد و دڵنیا نەبوون مەبەستی لە کێیە.

The disciples therefore looked on one another, doubting of whom He spake.

23 یەکێک لە قوتابییەکان کە عیسا خۆشی دەویست لەتەنیشتی پاڵیدابووەوە،

Now there was one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved, sitting next Him.

24 شیمۆن پەترۆس ئاماژەی بۆ کرد تاکو پرسیار لە عیسا بکات کە مەبەستی لە کێیە.

Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him to ask, who it was concerning whom He spake.

25 ئەویش شانی دا بەسەر سنگی عیسادا و پێی گوت: «گەورەم، کێیە؟»

And he, reclining on the breast of Jesus, saith unto Him, Lord, who is it?

26 عیسا وەڵامی دایەوە: «ئەو کەسەیە کە ئەم پارووە نانە لە قاپەکە هەڵدەکێشم و دەیدەمێ.» ئینجا پارووەکەی لە قاپەکە هەڵکێشا و دای بە یەهوزای کوڕی شیمۆنی ئەسخەریوتی.

Jesus answered, It is he to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it: and He dipped in a sop and gave it to Judas the Iscariot the son of Simon.

27 هەرکە پارووەکەی وەرگرت، شەیتان چووە ناویەوە. عیساش پێی فەرموو: «ئەوەی بەتەمای بیکەیت، خێرا بیکە.»

And after the sop Satan entred into him. Then Jesus saith unto him, What thou dost, do quickly.

28 هیچ کەسێک لەوانەی لەسەر خوانەکە لەگەڵی دانیشتبوون تێنەگەیشتن بۆچی عیسا ئەمەی پێ فەرموو.

But none of those that sat at table knew wherefore He said this to him.

29 هەندێکیان وایانزانی عیسا پێی دەفەرموێ کە چییان پێویستە بۆ جەژن بیکڕێت، یان شتێک بداتە هەژاران، چونکە سندوقی پارەکە لەلای یەهوزا بوو.

For some of them thought, because Judas kept the purse, that Jesus said to him, Buy what things we have need of against the feast: or that he should give something to the poor.

30 ئەویش کە پارووەکەی وەرگرت یەکسەر چووە دەرەوە. ئەو کاتە شەو بوو.

He therefore, when he had taken the sop, immediately went out. And it was night.

31 کاتێک چووە دەرەوە، عیسا فەرمووی: «ئێستا کوڕی مرۆڤ شکۆدار کرا و خوداش تێیدا شکۆدار کرا.

And when he was gone out Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in Him:

32 جا ئەگەر خودا تێیدا شکۆدار کرا، خوداش کوڕەکە لە خۆیدا شکۆدار دەکات، دەستبەجێ شکۆداری دەکات.

and if God be glorified in Him, God will glorify Him in Himself, and will soon glorify Him.

33 «ڕۆڵەکانم، ماوەیەکی کورت لەگەڵتاندا دەبم. جا بەدوامدا دەگەڕێن، بەڵام وەک چۆن بە جولەکەکانم گوت، ئێستا بە ئێوەشی دەڵێم: ئێوە ناتوانن بێنە ئەو شوێنەی کە من بۆی دەچم.

Little children, I am to be with you but a little while longer. Ye will wish for me, and as I said to the Jews, "Whither I go ye cannot come", so I now tell you.

34 «من ڕاسپاردەیەکی نوێتان دەدەمێ: یەکتریتان خۆشبوێ. وەک خۆشمویستن، ئێوەش بەو جۆرە یەکتریتان خۆشبوێ.

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; ---as I have loved you, that ye also love one another: for by this shall all men know that ye are my disciples,

35 بەمە هەموو خەڵک دەزانن کە قوتابی منن، ئەگەر خۆشەویستیتان بۆ یەکتری هەبێت.»

if ye have mutual love to each other.

36 شیمۆن پەترۆسیش لێی پرسی: «گەورەم، بۆ کوێ دەچیت؟» عیساش وەڵامی دایەوە: «ئەو شوێنەی بۆی دەچم، ئێستا ناتوانیت دوامبکەویت، بەڵام دواتر دوام دەکەویت.»

Simon Peter saith unto Him, Lord, whither art thou going? Jesus answered him, Whither I am going thou canst not follow me now, but thou shalt follow me hereafter.

37 دیسان پەترۆس لێی پرسی: «گەورەم، بۆچی ئێستا ناتوانم دواتبکەوم؟ ژیانم بۆ تۆ دادەنێم.»

Peter saith unto Him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thee.

38 عیسا وەڵامی دایەوە: «ژیانت بۆ من دادەنێیت؟ ڕاستی ڕاستیت پێ دەڵێم: پێش خوێندنی کەڵەشێر، تۆ سێ جار نکۆڵی لە ناسینی من دەکەیت!

Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily verily I tell thee, The cock shall not crow till thou hast denied me thrice.
