ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 10
1 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನೀವು ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಏಕೆ? ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟಿನ ಕಾಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಮರೆಯಾಗಿರುವುದೂ ಏಕೆ?
Wherefore, O Yahweh, shouldst thou stand afar off? [Wherefore] hide thyself, in times of destitution?
2 ದುಷ್ಟನು ಗರ್ವದಿಂದ ದೀನನನ್ನು ಬೇಟೆಯಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ, ಅವನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿದ ಕುಯುಕ್ತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನೇ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಬೀಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
In the pride of the lawless one, he hotly pursueth the poor, let them be caught in the plots which they have devised!
3 ದುಷ್ಟನು ತನ್ನ ಹೃದಯಭಿಲಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಅವನು ದುರಾಶೆಯುಳ್ಳವರನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವವನೂ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಶಪಿಸುವವನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
For the lawless one hath boasted over the longing of his soul, and, the robber, hath blasphemed Yahweh.
4 ದುಷ್ಟನು ತನ್ನ ಗರ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವನ ಎಲ್ಲ ಯೋಚನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ಥಳವೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
The lawless one, in the loftiness of his countenance, will not enquire, God is not in any of his plots:
5 ಅವನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಿರುತ್ತವೆ; ಆದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಿಯಮಗಳು ಅವನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಬಹು ದೂರವಾಗಿವೆ; ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವೈರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹೀಯಾಳಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
His ways are firm at all times, On high, are thy righteous regulations, out of his sight, As for all his adversaries, he puffeth at them:
6 ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುವನು, “ಯಾವುದೂ ಎಂದೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕದಲಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.” ಅವನು ಹೀಗೆ ಶಪಥ ಮಾಡುವನು, “ಯಾರೂ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ನನಗೆ ಕೇಡುಮಾಡಲಾರರು.”
He hath said in his heart, I shall not be shaken, —From generation to generation, shall I be in no misfortune.
7 ಅವನ ಬಾಯಿ ಸುಳ್ಳಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಬೆದರಿಕೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ತುಂಬಿದೆ. ಕೇಡೂ ನಾಶನವೂ ಅವನ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಇರುತ್ತವೆ.
With cursing, his mouth is full, and with deceptions and oppression, Under his tongue, are trouble and mischief:
8 ಅವನು ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಂಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಮರೆಯಾದ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ನಿರಪರಾಧಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಅವನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ನಿರ್ಗತಿಕರನ್ನು ಹೊಂಚಿ ನೋಡುತ್ತವೆ;
He abideth in the lurking-place of villages, In the hiding-places, he murdereth the innocent, —His eyes, for the unfortunate, are on the watch:
9 ಸಿಂಹದ ಹಾಗೆ, ಮರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಂಚುಹಾಕುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಅಸಹಾಯಕರನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯಲು ಕಾಯುತ್ತಾನೆ ಕುಗ್ಗಿದವನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದೆಳೆದು ತನ್ನ ಬಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕುತ್ತಾನೆ.
He lieth in wait in a hiding-place, like a lion in his covert, He lieth in wait to catch the humbled, He catcheth the humbled, by drawing him into his net:
10 ಅವನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕುವವರು ಜಜ್ಜಿಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಅವನ ಬಲದ ಎದುರು ಸೋತುಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ.
He croucheth, he lieth down, then falleth he with his strong claws upon the unfortunate.
11 “ದೇವರು ಮರೆತುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ತಮ್ಮ ಮುಖ ಮರೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಇನ್ನೆಂದೂ ಕಾಣಲಾರರು,” ಎಂದು ತನಗೆ ತಾನೇ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
He hath said in his heart, GOD hath forgotten, —He hath veiled his face, Oh he hath never seen!
12 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ಎದ್ದೇಳಿರಿ! ದೇವರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೈ ಎತ್ತಿರಿ. ನಿಸ್ಸಹಾಯಕರನ್ನು ಮರೆಯಬೇಡಿರಿ.
Arise! Yahweh! O GOD! raise thy hand, —Do not forget the patient!
13 ದುಷ್ಟರು ದೇವರನ್ನು ಅಲಕ್ಷ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಏಕೆ? “ದೇವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕ ಕೇಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದು ಅವನು ತನಗೆ ತಾನೇ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಏಕೆ?
Wherefore hath the lawless one blasphemed God? He hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require [it]!
14 ದೇವರೇ, ನೀವಾದರೋ ಬಾಧೆಪಡುವವರ ಕಷ್ಟಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ; ಅವರ ಸಂಕಟವನ್ನು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿ, ನೀವೇ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ಗತಿಯಿಲ್ಲದವರು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಿಮಗೇ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ನೀವೇ ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದವರಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುವವರು.
Thou hast seen! For, thou, mischief and misery, dost discern, to requite with thine own hand, Unto thee, doth, the unfortunate one, give himself up, To the fatherless, thou thyself, hast become a helper.
15 ದುಷ್ಟನ ಭುಜಬಲವನ್ನು ಮುರಿದುಬಿಡಿರಿ; ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವರಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನಕ್ಕೆ ಲೆಕ್ಕ ಕೇಳಿರಿ; ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ನೀವು ಅವನನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕ ಕೇಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು.
Shatter thou the arm of the lawless one, And, as for the wrongful, wilt thou not enquire for his lawlessness—wilt thou not find [it]?
16 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಯುಗಯುಗಾಂತರಗಳಿಗೂ ಅರಸರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗಳು ಅವರ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಹಾಕಲಾಯಿತು.
Yahweh, is king, to times age-abiding and beyond, The nations have perished out of his land.
17 ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನೀವು ಬಾಧೆಪಡುವವರ ಬಯಕೆಯನ್ನು ಆಲಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ; ಅವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿ, ಅವರ ಕೂಗನ್ನು ಲಾಲಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ.
The longing of the patient, thou hast heard, O Yahweh, Thou wilt establish their heart, Thou wilt make attentive thine ear:
18 ಅನಾಥರಿಗೂ, ಕುಗ್ಗಿದವರಿಗೂ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿಕೊಡಿರಿ. ಹೀಗಾದರೆ ಕೇವಲ ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಮಾನವರಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಇನ್ನೆಂದಿಗೂ ಭಯ ಉಂಟಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
To vindicate the fatherless and the crushed, A man of the earth, shall, no further, cause terror!
