ಯೋಬನು 25

1 ಶೂಹ್ಯನಾದ ಬಿಲ್ದದನು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ:

Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,

2 “ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಸ್ಮಯ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದೆ; ಉನ್ನತಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾಧಾನವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದವರು ದೇವರೇ.

Dominion and fear [are] with him, he maketh peace in his high places.

3 ದೇವರ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಲೆಕ್ಕ ಉಂಟೋ? ಯಾರ ಮೇಲೆ ದೇವರ ಬೆಳಕು ಮೂಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ?

Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise?

4 ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ನೀತಿವಂತನಾಗುವುದು ಹೇಗೆ? ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿರುವುದು ಹೇಗೆ?

How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean [that is] born of a woman?

5 ಇಗೋ, ಚಂದ್ರನೂ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಾನವಾಗಿರುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗಳಾದರೂ ದೇವರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಶುದ್ಧವಾದವುಗಳಲ್ಲ.

Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.

6 ಹೀಗಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಳುವಿನಂಥ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ದೇವರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಕಡಿಮೆ! ಕ್ರಿಮಿಯಂಥ ಮನವರು ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಅಲ್ಪರು!”

How much less man, [that is] a worm? and the son of man, [which is] a worm?
