ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನು 32
1 ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನ ಹದಿನೆಂಟನೆಯ ವರ್ಷವಾಗಿದ್ದ, ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಚಿದ್ಕೀಯನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಹತ್ತನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನಿಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾದ ವಾಕ್ಯವು.
The word that hath been unto Jeremiah from Jehovah, in the tenth year of Zedekiah king of Judah — it [is] the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar,
2 ಆಗ ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿನ ಅರಸನ ಸೈನ್ಯವು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಿತ್ತು. ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನ ಅರಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯ ಅಂಗಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂಧಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
And then the forces of the king of Babylon are laying siege against Jerusalem, and Jeremiah the prophet hath been shut up in the court of the prison that [is] in the house of the king of Judah,
3 ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸ ಚಿದ್ಕೀಯನು ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನಿಗೆ, “ನೀನು ಪ್ರವಾದನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ, ‘ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ ಹೀಗೆಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ: ನಾನು ಈ ನಗರವನ್ನು ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿಯದ ಅರಸನ ಕೈಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಸುವೆನು. ಅವನು ಇದನ್ನು ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು.
Where Zedekiah king of Judah hath shut him up, saying, 'Wherefore art thou prophesying, saying, Thus said Jehovah, Lo, I am giving this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he hath captured it;
4 ಈ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸ ಚಿದ್ಕೀಯನು ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿಯರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗದೆ, ಅದರ ಅರಸನ ವಶವಾಗುವುದು ಖಂಡಿತ. ಅವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಾತ್ತಾಗಿ ನಿಂತು ಮುಖಾಮುಖಿಯಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವನು.
And Zedekiah king of Judah doth not escape out of the hand of the Chaldeans, but is certainly given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and his mouth hath spoken with his mouth, and his eyes see his eyes,
5 ಆ ಅರಸನು ಚಿದ್ಕೀಯನನ್ನು ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿಗೆ ಕೊಂಡು ಒಯ್ಯುವನು. ನಾನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ದಯೆತೋರಿಸುವವರೆಗೂ ಅವನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇರುವನು. ನೀವು ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿಯರೊಡನೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದರೂ ಜಯವಾಗದು. ಇದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ನುಡಿ,’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿರುವೆ, ಏಕೆ?” ಎಂದು ಆಪಾದಿಸಿ ಸೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದನು.
And [to] Babylon he leadeth Zedekiah, and there he is till My inspecting him, — an affirmation of Jehovah — because ye fight with the Chaldeans, ye do not prosper.'
6 ಆಗ ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದು, “ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ನನಗೆ ಬಂತು,
And Jeremiah saith, 'A word of Jehovah hath been unto me saying,
7 ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಚಿಕ್ಕಪ್ಪನಾದ ಶಲ್ಲೂಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಹನಮೇಲನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು, ‘ಅನಾತೋತಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ಹೊಲವನ್ನು ನಿನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕೊಂಡುಕೋ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ವಿಮೋಚಿಸುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ನಿನಗುಂಟು,’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವನು.
Lo, Hanameel son of Shallum, thine uncle, is coming unto thee, saying, Buy for thee my field that [is] in Anathoth, for thine [is] the right of redemption — to buy.
8 “ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನನ್ನ ಚಿಕ್ಕಪ್ಪನ ಮಗನಾದ ಹನಮೇಲನು, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯ ಅಂಗಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು, ‘ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನಿನ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅನಾತೋತಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ಹೊಲವನ್ನು ನಿನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕೊಂಡುಕೋ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಬಾಧ್ಯದ ಅಧಿಕಾರವೂ ನಿನ್ನದು; ವಿಮೋಚನೆಯೂ ನಿನ್ನದು; ಅದನ್ನು ನಿನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕೊಂಡುಕೋ,’ ಎಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೇಳಿದನು. “ಆಗ ಅದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವೆಂದು ನಾನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡೆನು.
And Hanameel, my uncle's son, cometh in unto me, according to the word of Jehovah, unto the court of the prison, and saith unto me, 'Buy, I pray thee, my field that [is] in Anathoth, that [is] in the land of Benjamin, for thine [is] the right of possession, and thine of redemption — buy for thee.' And I know that it [is] the word of Jehovah,
9 ಹಾಗೆ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಚಿಕ್ಕಪ್ಪನ ಮಗನಾದ ಹನಮೇಲನಿಂದ ಅನಾತೋತಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಹೊಲವನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಂಡು, ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹದಿನೇಳು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿನಾಣ್ಯ ತೂಕಮಾಡಿ ಕ್ರಯಕೊಟ್ಟೆನು.
And I buy the field, that [is] in Anathoth, from Hanameel, my uncle's son, and I weigh to him the money — seventeen shekels of silver.
10 ನಾನು ಪತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದು, ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮುದ್ರೆಹಾಕಿ, ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳನ್ನಿಟ್ಟು, ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನು ತ್ರಾಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತೂಕಮಾಡಿದೆನು.
And I write in a book, and seal, and cause witnesses to testify, and weigh the silver in balances;
11 ಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು ಕ್ರಯಪತ್ರವನ್ನು, ಅಂದರೆ ಚಕ್ಕು ಬಂದಿ ಷರತ್ತುಗಳಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿ ಮುದ್ರಿತವಾದ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನೂ, ಮುಚ್ಚಿದ್ದ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು,
And I take the purchase-book, the sealed one, according to law and custom, and the open one.
12 ಮಹ್ಸೇಯನ ಮೊಮ್ಮಗನೂ, ನೇರೀಯನ ಮಗನೂ ಆದ ಬಾರೂಕನ ಕೈಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟೆ. ನನ್ನ ಚಿಕ್ಕಪ್ಪನ ಮಗ ಹನಮೇಲನ ಮುಂದೆ ಕ್ರಯಪತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ರುಜುಮಾಡಿದ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ಸಮಕ್ಷಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರಾಗೃಹದ ಅಂಗಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಎದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಕ್ರಯಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟೆ.
And I give the purchase-book unto Baruch son of Neriah, son of Maaseiah, before the eyes of Hanameel, my uncle's son, and before the eyes of the witnesses, those writing in the purchase-book, before the eyes of all the Jews who are sitting in the court of the prison.
13 “ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ನಾನು ಬಾರೂಕನಿಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ:
And I charge Baruch before their eyes, saying,
14 ‘ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಈ ಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಮುದ್ರೆ ಹಾಕಿದ ಈ ಕ್ರಯ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನೂ, ತೆರೆದಿರುವ ಈ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದು, ಅವು ಬಹು ದಿವಸವಿರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಒಂದು ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಪಾತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡು.
'Thus said Jehovah of Hosts, God of Israel, Take these books, this purchase-book, both the sealed one and the open one, and thou hast put them in an earthen vessel, that they may remain many days;
15 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರೂ ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತರೂ ಆದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಈ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿರುಗಿ ಮನೆಗಳೂ, ಹೊಲಗಳೂ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ತೋಟಗಳೂ ಸ್ವಾಧೀನವಾಗುವುವೆಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.’
For thus said Jehovah of Hosts, God of Israel, Again are houses and fields and vineyards bought in this land.'
16 “ನಾನು ಆ ಕ್ರಯಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ನೇರೀಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬಾರೂಕನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಮೇಲೆ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆನು:
And I pray unto Jehovah — after my giving the purchase-book unto Baruch son of Neriah — saying,
17 “ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ಇಗೋ, ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಹಾ ಬಲದಿಂದಲೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಚಾಚಿದ ಕೈಯಿಂದಲೂ ಆಕಾಶವನ್ನೂ, ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನೂ ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ನಿಮಗೆ ಅಸಾಧ್ಯವಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಯಾವುದೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
'Ah, Lord Jehovah, lo, Thou hast made the heavens and the earth by Thy great power, and by Thy stretched-out arm; there is nothing too wonderful for Thee:
18 ನೀವು ಸಾವಿರಾರು ತಲೆಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಪ್ರೀತಿ, ದಯೆತೋರಿಸಿ, ತಂದೆಗಳ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ತರುವಾಯ ಇರುವ ಅವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಎದೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುರಿಸುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಮಹತ್ವವುಳ್ಳವರೂ, ಪರಾಕ್ರಮವುಳ್ಳ ದೇವರೂ, ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೂ ಎಂಬುದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರು.
Doing kindness to thousands, and recompensing iniquity of fathers into the bosom of their sons after them; God, the great, the mighty, Jehovah of Hosts [is] His name,
19 ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಯೋಜನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡವರು, ಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠರು. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಒಬ್ಬೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ಅವನವನ ಮಾರ್ಗದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವಾಗಿಯೂ ಕೊಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ತೆರೆದಿವೆ.
Great in counsel, and mighty in act, in that Thine eyes are open on all the ways of the sons of Adam, to give to each according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:
20 ನೀವು ಈ ದಿನದವರೆಗೂ ಈಜಿಪ್ಟ್ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳೊಳಗೂ ಗುರುತುಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನೂ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಇಂದಿನವರೆಗೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಿರಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
In that thou hast done signs and wonders in the land of Egypt unto this day, and in Israel, and among men, and Thou dost make for Thee a name as [at] this day.
21 ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜನರಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನ್ನು ಗುರುತುಗಳಿಂದಲೂ, ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳಿಂದಲೂ, ಬಲವಾದ ಕೈಯಿಂದಲೂ, ಚಾಚಿದ ತೋಳಿನಿಂದಲೂ, ಮಹಾಭಯದಿಂದಲೂ ಈಜಿಪ್ಟ್ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ತಂದಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
'And Thou bringest forth Thy people Israel from the land of Egypt, with signs and with wonders, and by a strong hand, and by a stretched-out arm, and by great fear,
22 ಅವರ ಪಿತೃಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆಂದು ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿದ ಹಾಲೂ ಜೇನೂ ಹರಿಯುವ ದೇಶವಾದ ಈ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
And thou givest to them this land that thou didst swear to their fathers to give to them, a land flowing with milk and honey,
23 ಅವರು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಿಯಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ನೀವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಈ ಕೇಡನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
And they come in, and possess it, and they have not hearkened to Thy voice, and in Thy law have not walked, all that which Thou didst lay a charge on them to do they have not done, and Thou dost proclaim [to] them all this evil.
24 “ಇಗೋ, ಪರ್ವತಗಳು ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಬಂದಿವೆ. ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವ ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿಯರ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಖಡ್ಗ, ಕ್ಷಾಮ, ವ್ಯಾಧಿಗಳ ಮೂಲಕವಾಗಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ನೀನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು. ಇಗೋ, ನೀನು ಅದನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತೀ.
'Lo, the mounts — they have come in to the city to capture it, and the city hath been given into the hand of the Chaldeans who are fighting against it, because of the sword, and the famine, and the pestilence; and that which Thou hast spoken hath come to pass, and lo, Thou art seeing;
25 ಆದರೂ ಓ ಸಾರ್ವಭೌಮ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನೀನು ನನಗೆ, ‘ಹೊಲವನ್ನು ಹಣಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಂಡುಕೋ, ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳನ್ನು ಇಡು,’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೀ. ಆದರೂ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿಯರ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆಯಲ್ಲಾ?”
Yet Thou hast said unto me, O Lord Jehovah, Buy for thee the field with money, and cause witnesses to testify — and the city hath been given into the hand of the Chaldeans!'
26 ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನಿಗೆ ಉಂಟಾಗಿ,
And the word of Jehovah is unto Jeremiah, saying:
27 “ಇಗೋ, ನಾನೇ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು, ಸಮಸ್ತ ಜನರ ದೇವರು, ನನಗೆ ಯಾವುದಾದರೂ ಅಸಾಧ್ಯವಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಉಂಟೋ?
'Lo, I [am] Jehovah, God of all flesh: For Me is anything too wonderful?
28 ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ: ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿಯರ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಅವನು ಅದನ್ನು ವಶಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು.
'Therefore, thus said Jehovah, Lo, I am giving this city into the hand of the Chaldeans, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and he hath captured it;
29 ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವ ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿಯರು ಬಂದು, ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಹಚ್ಚಿ; ಅದನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಯಾವ ಮನೆಗಳ ಮಾಳಿಗೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಾಳನಿಗೆ ಧೂಪವನ್ನರ್ಪಿಸಿ, ನನಗೆ ಕೋಪೋದ್ರೇಕ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ, ಬೇರೆ ದೇವರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಪಾನದ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಯ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೋ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಡುವರು.
And come in have the Chaldeans who are fighting against this city, and they have set this city on fire, and have burned it, and the houses on whose roofs they made perfume to Baal, and poured out libations to other gods, so as to provoke Me to anger.
30 “ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೂ, ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಚಿಕ್ಕಂದಿನಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಕೆಲಸಗಳಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ಕೋಪೋದ್ರೇಕವನ್ನೂ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
For the sons of Israel and the sons of Judah have been only doing evil in Mine eyes, from their youth; for the sons of Israel are only provoking Me with the work of their hands — an affirmation of Jehovah.
31 ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಕಟ್ಟಿದ ದಿನದಿಂದ ಈ ದಿನದವರೆಗೂ ನನ್ನ ಕೋಪಕ್ಕೂ, ನನ್ನ ಉಗ್ರಕ್ಕೂ ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ನಾನು ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಬೇಕು.
'For a cause of Mine anger, and a cause of My fury, hath this city been to Me, even from the day that they built it, and unto this day — to turn it aside from before My face,
32 ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೂ, ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ, ಅವರೂ, ಅವರ ಅರಸರೂ, ಅವರ ಪ್ರಧಾನರೂ, ಅವರ ಯಾಜಕರೂ, ಅವರ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳೂ, ಯೆಹೂದದ ಜನರೂ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೂ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ನನಗೆ ಕೋಪೋದ್ರೇಕ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು
Because of all the evil of the sons of Israel, and of the sons of Judah that they have done, so as to provoke Me — they, their kings, their heads, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
33 ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ಮುಖವನ್ನಲ್ಲ ಬೆನ್ನನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೂ ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದೆನು. ಪುನಃ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದೆನು. ಆದರೂ ಉಪದೇಶ ಹೊಂದುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರು ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅಥವಾ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
And they turn unto Me the neck, and not the face, and teaching them, rising early and teaching, and they are not hearkening to accept instruction.
34 ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದ ಕರೆಯಲಾಗಿರುವ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರ ಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಅಸಹ್ಯ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
'And they set their abominations in the house over which My name is called, so as to defile it;
35 ತಮ್ಮ ಗಂಡು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಮೋಲೆಕ್ ದೇವತೆಗೆ ಆಹುತಿ ಕೊಡುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬೆನ್ ಹಿನ್ನೋಮ್ ತಗ್ಗಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಳ್ ದೇವತೆಗೆ ಪೂಜಾಸ್ಥಳಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹೀಗೆ ಯೆಹೂದ ಕುಲವನ್ನೇ ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಾನು ಇಂಥ ಅಸಹ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ವಿಧಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅದರ ಯೋಚನೆ ಕೂಡ ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.
And they build the high places of Baal, that [are] in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through to Molech, which I did not command them, nor did it come up on my heart to do this abomination, so as to cause Judah to sin.
36 “‘ಹೀಗಾದರೂ ಈಗ ಅದು ಖಡ್ಗದಿಂದಲೂ ಬರದಿಂದಲೂ ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿನ ಅರಸನ ಕೈವಶವಾಗಿದೆ,’ ಎಂದು ನೀವು ಹೇಳುವ ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ವಿಷಯ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುವುದೇನೆಂದರೆ:
'And now, therefore, thus said Jehovah, God of Israel, concerning this city, of which ye are saying, It hath been given into the hand of the king of Babylon by sword, and by famine, and by pestilence,
37 ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಕೋಪದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ನನ್ನ ಉಗ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಮಹಾ ರೌದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಓಡಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟ ಸಮಸ್ತ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿ, ಈ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ತಂದು ಭದ್ರವಾಗಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.
Lo, I am gathering them out of all the lands whither I have driven them in Mine anger, and in My fury, and in great wrath, and I have brought them back unto this place, and have caused them to dwell confidently;
38 ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಜನರಾಗಿರುವರು. ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವೆನು.
and they have been to Me for a people, and I am to them for God;
39 ಅವರಿಗೂ, ಅವರ ತರುವಾಯ ಅವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಹಿತವಾಗುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ; ಅವರು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ನನಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಒಂದೇ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನೂ, ಒಂದೇ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡುವೆನು.
and I have given to them one heart, and one way, to fear Me all the days, for good to them, and to their sons after them:
40 ಅವರಿಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಾನು ತಿರುಗಿಸಿಬಿಡೆನೆಂದು ನಿತ್ಯವಾದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ಭಯವನ್ನು ಅವರ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.
and I have made for them a covenant age-during, in that I turn not back from after them for My doing them good, and My fear I put in their heart, so as not to turn aside from me;
41 ಹೌದು, ಅವರಿಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆನಂದಪಡುವೆನು. ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ಣಹೃದಯದಿಂದಲೂ, ನನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ಣಪ್ರಾಣದಿಂದಲೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಈ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.
and I have rejoiced over them to do them good, and have planted them in this land in truth, with all my heart, and with all My soul.
42 “ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ: ನಾನು ಹೇಗೆ ಈ ಜನರ ಮೇಲೆ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಿದೆನೋ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನಾನು ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಮಾಡುವೆನು.
'For thus said Jehovah: As I brought in unto this people all this great evil, so I am bringing in on them all the good that I am speaking concerning them;
43 ‘ಜನಪಶುಗಳಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಹಾಳಾಗಿ ಕಸ್ದೀಯರ ಕೈವಶವಾಗಿದೆ,’ ಎಂದು ನೀವು ಹೇಳುವ ಈ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಲಗದ್ದೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು, ಕೊಡುವರು.
and bought hath been the field in this land of which ye are saying, A desolation it [is], without man and beast, it hath been given into the hand of the Chaldeans.
44 ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನನ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಯೆಹೂದದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹೊಲಗಳನ್ನು ಹಣಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಂಡು, ಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಬರೆದು ಮುದ್ರೆಹಾಕಿ, ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾನು ಅವರ ಸೆರೆಯಿಂದ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನುಡಿಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.
Fields with money they buy, so as to write in a book, and to seal, and to cause witnesses to testify, in the land of Benjamin, and in suburbs of Jerusalem, and in cities of Judah, and in cities of the hill-country, and in cities of the low country, and in cities of the south, for I turn back their captivity — an affirmation of Jehovah.'
