1 Tamagerfa huno Anumzamo'a Israeli vahe'mokizmia knare hunezmanteno, zamagu'amo'ma agruma hu'nea vahe'mokizmia knarera hunezamante.
A Melody of Asaph. Nothing but good, is God, Unto Israel, Unto the pure in heart.
2 Hianagi nagiamo'a krarige'na traka hu'na masekate'noe. Nagiama renakeroana regaririna masekatoe.
But, as for me, —My feet had, almost stumbled, My steps had, well-nigh slipped;
For I was envious of the boasters, At the prosperity of the lawless, used I to look.
For they have no pangs in their death, And vigorous is their body;
5 Mago'a vahe'mo'zama nehazaza hu'za hazenkefina uofrege, ruga'a vahe'mo'zama nehazaza hu'za knazampina unofraze.
Of the toil of weak mortals, have they none, Nor, with the sons of earth, are they hard smitten.
6 E'ina hu'negu zamavufaga rama hu' zamo'a, zmanankempima nentaniza pasesugna nehigeno, vahe'ma hazenkema zamizamo'a kukena antanizankna hu'ne.
For this cause, doth arrogance deck them as a neck-chain, And a garment of wrong is their attire;
7 Ana vahe'mokizmi zamagu'amo'a hanavenetino tapari'nege'za kefo avu'ava zana huvava hu'za nevaze.
Their iniquity, hath proceeded from fatness, They have surpassed the imaginations of the heart;
They mock, and wickedly command oppression, From on high, they command;
9 Zamagrama nanekema nehu'za monafima mani'naza vahera huhaviza hunezmante'za, zamagra mopa eri nafa'a hu nanekege nehaze.
They have set, in the heavens, their mouth, And, their tongue, marcheth through the earth.
10 Ana hazage'za zamagogogu nehazageno, antahintahi zmimo'a savri nehie. Ana nehu'za ana vahe'mokizmi nanekea tima nazaza hu'za nenaze.
Therefore must his people return thither, And, the waters of abundance, are drained by them;
11 Ana vahe'mo'za amanage nehaze, inankna huno Anumzamo'a keno antahinora hugahie? hu'za nehaze. Marerirfa Anumzamo'a amafima fore'ma nehia zana, keno antahinora osugahie hu'za nehaze.
And they say—How doth GOD know? And is there knowledge in the Most High?
12 Kefo avu'ava'ma nehaza vahera zamageho, knare nomani'za mani'nazageno fenozmimo'a ome ra huno nevie.
Lo! these, are the lawless, Who are secure for an age, They have attained unto wealth.
13 Nagra nagu'a kegava hugeno agru huno me'negena, kumira osu'noanki, e'i ana zama hu'noa zamo'a amnezankna hugahifi?
Altogether in vain, Have I cleansed my heart, And bathed in pureness, my hands;
14 Maka knafina hazenkefi nagra mani'na nevue, maka nanterana nazeri haviza hankena natagura hu'na nevue.
And yet been smitten all the day, And been rebuked morning by morning!
15 Nagra ama anazamofo nanekema vahetmima zamasamuresina, ha' vahe zamazampi vaheka'a zamavarente'naku nagra komoru huresine.
If I had thought, I will relate it thus, Lo! the circle of thy sons, had I betrayed.
When I reasoned, that I might understand this, A vexation, it was in mine eyes:
17 Ana'ma hute'na Anumzamoka mono nompima ufre'na, kefo avu'ava'ma nehaza vahe'mofonte'ma henkama efore'ma hania zana ke'na antahi'na hue.
Until I could enter the holy places of God, —Could give heed to their hereafter: —
18 Tamagerfa hunka Anumzamoka krari'nenia kampi zamavarentege'za rekrari'za zavapi urami'za hazenke eriho.
Surely, in slippery places, dost thou set them, —Thou hast suffered them to fall into places of danger.
19 Zamagra ame hu'za hazenkea eri'za haviza nehanageno, korozamo zamahe frigahie.
How have they become desolate, as in a moment! They have ceased—come to an end, by reason of calamities.
20 Vahe'mo'ma ava'nama keteno nanterama otigeno, ana ava'namo'ma fanenema hiankna hunka Anumzamoka zamazeri fanenema hugahane!
As the dream of him that waketh, O my Lord! when rousing thyself up, their shadowy being, wilt thou despise.
21 Ana zama ke'na antahi'nama nehugeno'a, musezanimo'a omanegeno narimpa aka nehegeno, tumo'nimo'a natagri'ne.
But my heart had grown embittered, And, in my reins, had I received wounds;
22 Nagra ana zana anira osu'noanki, neginagi hu'na antahintahi'a omne afi zaga kafagna kagri kavurera hu'noe.
But, I, was brutish, and could not perceive, Like the beasts, had I become before thee.
23 Hianagi nagra katre'na ovu maka knafina kagrane mani'nogenka, tamaga kaziga nazante nazeri'nane.
Nevertheless, I, am continually before thee, Thou hast taken hold of my right hand;
24 Ana nehunka knare antahintahi naminka, nazeri fatgo nehanankinka, henka navrenka masanentake kumapina vugahane.
By thy counsel, wilt thou guide me, And, afterwards, unto glory, wilt thou take me.
25 Monafina nagri vahera omani'neanki, kagrake'za mani'nane. Hagi mopafina mago zankura navesi ontegahuanki, kagrike'za navesi kantegahue.
Whom have I in the heavens? And, compared with thee, there is nothing I desire on earth.
26 Nagu'amo'ene navufgamo'enena zaferina omne amne huno navresra nehianagi Anumzamoke'za nagu'amofona nazeri hankavenetiankino, nagri Anumza Agra mani vava nehie.
Failed have my flesh and my heart, The rock of my heart—and my portion, is God unto times age-abiding.
For lo! they who are far from thee, shall perish, Thou hast put an end to every one who wandered unchastely from thee.
28 Hianagi nagrama Anumzamofo tvaonte'ma nemanua zamo'a knare nehie. Ra Anumzamo'a nagri Anumza mani'neno, nagu vazi kuma mani'neankina, knare'ma huno mareri agatere avu'ava zama'agura huama hugahue.
But, as for me, the drawing near of God, is my blessedness, —I have made, of My Lord Yahweh, my refuge, —That I may recount all thy works.
