There was also a lot for the tribe of Manasseh; for he [was] the firstborn of Joseph; [to wit], for Machir the firstborn of Manasseh, the father of Gilead: because he was a man of war, therefore he had Gilead and Bashan.
2 Hagi amu'nompinti'ma mago'a Manase naga'ma refkoma hu'za mani'naza nagara, nagate nofite hu'za mopama refko huzami'nazana, Abiesama, Helekima, Asrielima, Sekemima, Heferine Semitane huno refko huzami'naze. There was also [a lot] for the rest of the children of Manasseh by their families; for the children of Abiezer, and for the children of Helek, and for the children of Asriel, and for the children of Shechem, and for the children of Hepher, and for the children of Shemida: these [were] the male children of Manasseh the son of Joseph by their families. (Abiezer: also called, Jeezer)

But Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, had no sons, but daughters: and these [are] the names of his daughters, Mahlah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.

And they came near before Eleazar the priest, and before Joshua the son of Nun, and before the princes, saying, YHWH commanded Moses to give us an inheritance among our brethren. Therefore according to the commandment of YHWH he gave them an inheritance among the brethren of their father.
5 Hagi Manase naga'mo'za Jodani timofo zage hanati kaziga Gileati mopane Bashani mopanena eri'ne'za, mago'ane 10niafi refkoma huzami'naza mopanena eri'naze.
And there fell ten portions to Manasseh, beside the land of Gilead and Bashan, which [were] on the other side Jordan;
6 Hagi Manase nagapinti mofa'nemo'za, vene'nemo'zama mopama erizafintira zamagranena anampinti mago'a mopa eri'naze. Hanki Gileati mopa mago'a Manase mofavremokizmi mopa me'ne.
Because the daughters of Manasseh had an inheritance among his sons: and the rest of Manasseh's sons had the land of Gilead.
7 Hanki Manase naga nofi'mofo mopamo'a, Aseriti agafa huteno Sekemu zage hanati kaziga Mikmetati vu'ne. Hagi anantetira mopamofo agema'amo'a henkamu sauti kaziga uramino En-Tapuama nemaniza vahera zamazerigu'a ate'ne.
And the coast of Manasseh was from Asher to Michmethah, that [lieth] before Shechem; and the border went along on the right hand unto the inhabitants of Entappuah.
8 Tapua mopa Manase naga nofi'mofo mopa megeno, Tapua rankumara Manase naga'mofo mopa agema'arega me'neanagi, Efraemi naga'mofo mopa me'ne.
[Now] Manasseh had the land of Tappuah: but Tappuah on the border of Manasseh [belonged] to the children of Ephraim;
9 Hagi anantetira mopamofo agema'amo'a fenkamu sauti kaziga uramino Kana osi tinte uhanati'ne. Ana timofo sauti kazigama me'nea rankuma tamina, Efraemi naga'mofo kumatamine. E'ina rankumatamimo'a Manase naga rankumatamimofo amu'nompi me'ne. Hianagi Manase naga'mofo mopa agema'amo'a Kana osi tinkagomu'mofo noti kaziga evuteno, vuno Mediterenia ra hagerintega uhanati'ne.
And the coast descended unto the river Kanah, southward of the river: these cities of Ephraim [are] among the cities of Manasseh: the coast of Manasseh also [was] on the north side of the river, and the outgoings of it were at the sea: (river Kanah: or, brook of reeds)
10 Hanki Sauti kazigama me'nea mopa Efraemi naga'mokizmi mope. Hagi noti kazigama me'nea mopa Manase naga'mokizmi mopagino zage fre kaziga Mediterenia ra hagerikenare ome atre'ne. Hagi Manase naga'mofo mopa agema'amo'a rugitagigeno, Aseli nagamofo mopa noti kaziga megeno, Isakar naga'mofo mopa zage hanati kaziga me'ne.
Southward [it was] Ephraim's, and northward [it was] Manasseh's, and the sea is his border; and they met together in Asher on the north, and in Issachar on the east.
11 Hanki Manase naga'mofo mopa Isaka naga'ene Aseli naga'mokizmi mopafina me'neana, Betsani rankuma'ene ne'eonse kumatamima tavaoma'are'ma me'nea kumatamine, Ibliamu rankuma'ene, ne'onse kumatamima tava'oma'are'ma me'nea kumatamine, Nafat Dori rankuma'ene, Endori rankuma'ene, Tamak rankuma'ene, Megido rankuma'ene ana maka ra kumatamimofo tavao zamire'ma me'nea neonse kumatamia Manase naga'mo'za eri'naze.
And Manasseh had in Issachar and in Asher Bethshean and her towns, and Ibleam and her towns, and the inhabitants of Dor and her towns, and the inhabitants of Endor and her towns, and the inhabitants of Taanach and her towns, and the inhabitants of Megiddo and her towns, [even] three countries.
12 Ana hu'neanagi Manase naga'mo'za ana rankumatamimpintira Kenani vahera zamahenati otre zamatrage'za ana mopafi mani'naze.
Yet the children of Manasseh could not drive out [the inhabitants of] those cities; but the Canaanites would dwell in that land.
13 Hianagi Israeli vahe'mo'zama hankave nentake'ma nehu'za, Kenani vahera zamahenatitre vagaore'nazanki, mago'a zamatrage'za manine'za Israeli vahe'mokizmi kazokzo eri'za eri zamante'naze.
Yet it came to pass, when the children of Israel were waxen strong, that they put the Canaanites to tribute; but did not utterly drive them out.
14 Henka Josefe naga'mo'za Josuankura amanage hu'naze, Ra Anumzamo tagri nagara asomu hurantegeta rama'a vahe fore huta mani'nonanki, na'a higenka magoke mopagera tami'nane?
And the children of Joseph spake unto Joshua, saying, Why hast thou given me [but] one lot and one portion to inherit, seeing I [am] a great people, forasmuch as YHWH hath blessed me hitherto?
15 Hagi Josua'a ke nonazmia amanage hu'ne, Tamagrama tusi'a vahe'ma fore hu'ne'nageno Efraemi agona mopamo'ma osi'ma huramante'nigeta, Perisi vahe'ene, Refaimi vahe mopafi anagamu zafa tanoparega marerita kumara ome eriama huta maniho.
And Joshua answered them, If thou [be] a great people, [then] get thee up to the wood [country], and cut down for thyself there in the land of the Perizzites and of the giants, if mount Ephraim be too narrow for thee. (giants: or, Rephaims)
16 Hige'za Josefe naga'mo'za amanage hu'naze, agona mopamo'a knarera huorantegahie. Hianagi agupofima Kenani vahe'ma nemaniza vahe'ene, Bet Sani ran kumate'ene, ne'onse kuma'ma tava'oma'are'ma me'nea kumatamimpine, Jezrili agupofima nemaniza ha'ma hu'zana aenire karisi ante'naze.
And the children of Joseph said, The hill is not enough for us: and all the Canaanites that dwell in the land of the valley have chariots of iron, [both they] who [are] of Bethshean and her towns, and [they] who [are] of the valley of Jezreel.
17 Hianagi Josua'a amanage huno Josefe mofavrerare Manasene, Efraemi naga'mokizmia zamasami'ne, Tamagra tusi'a vahe fore hutma hankavenentake hu'nazankita magoke mopafina omanigahaze.
And Joshua spake unto the house of Joseph, [even] to Ephraim and to Manasseh, saying, Thou [art] a great people, and hast great power: thou shalt not have one lot [only]:
18 Hagi agonarega zafa mopa me'neanagi, tamagra amane ome eriama huta erigahaze. Inante zafa mopamo'a ome atre'neo, anama'a eriama'ma hanazama'amo'a tamagri mopa manegahie. Hanki Kenani vahe'mo'za aenire karisi ante'ne'za hanvenentake hu'nazanagi, tamagra amne zamahe natitregahaze.
But the mountain shall be thine; for it [is] a wood, and thou shalt cut it down: and the outgoings of it shall be thine: for thou shalt drive out the Canaanites, though they have iron chariots, [and] though they [be] strong.
